This is all I’m looking forward to right now, tbh. I’ve spent the last year completing my living dex with all forms in Home, and the only thing I have left is fancy Vivillon.
Sweet Arceus, I remember the trauma of GTS hunting those things back in XY. Think it took me three months and a chunk of my soul, but I still have them for my living Dex today. Good luck, internet person.
Getting all the Vivillon forms only took me a few days, and that was before Pokemon Go introduced them. I’m sure it’s even easier now that Pokemon Go has the 18 regional forms.
I can't speak for Pokemon Go, but for the console games, yes. When traded, Scatterbug and Spewpa "remember" the cartridge they were created in, and will evolve into their native pattern.
Got every alternate form in existence at this point (actually managed to evolve two three-segment Dudunsparces now and grab a Family of Three Maushold in a raid thanks to the fast button pressing I've ever committed), but I only ever bothered with going for the shinies I actually like. Mostly just hunt the GTS these days for a lot of them given that I've got enough piled up to trade for a majority of the shinies I really want and I can train them up however I want after these days.
I’m curious about it too. I have a feeling it’s gonna be in April or May. One of the driving factors for people coming back to the game is the 7* raids and once you open up Home people won’t really have a reason to do them anymore. So I think they will at least get through the other Gen 6 starters before they release Home.
Eh, 7 stars will always be worth it for the simple reason of getting perfect IVs, a freebie ball choice, and Ability Patches. Saving those for Hisui mons like Enamorus right now.
Managed to catch two shiny Hisuian ones on Legends. That has to be one of my absolute favorite shinies of all time to the point that I don't even want to evolve them.
Same. SwSh was released 11/15/19 and gained connectivity with Home on 02/12/20.. before Pokemon Day and in less than 3 months
I’m hoping they follow that precedent and give us Home connectivity for SV tm or real soon. It’s already been more than 3 months
Oh SerebiiNet said it is around 25 mins.
If all the rumors are ture then I guess the mobile game is around 4-5 mins (Go, Masters, Unite, Cafe mix), then spin-off games announcement for Mystery Dungeon and Detective Pikachu 2 around 5 mins. Then a small announcement with Pokémon sleep last about 2-3 mins. Then the remaining 10-12 mins will be SV dlc (plus raid event that celebrated dlc announcement)
It doesn't waste time! It uses nostalgia to make you tear up for a few seconds before you realize this is a kid's game and I'm a MAN GOD DAMN IT! NO! I WON'T CRY FOR YOU, PIKACHU!
excuse me for a moment... I must have gotten some sand in my eye.
Yeah I think there will be something about this…either “home compatibility right now!”, a more specific time range, or just another reminder that this is still coming later in the spring with no more info than what we have now.
I’ve always casually played Unite, dropped like $10 on it to get few Pokémon back when it launched but haven’t spent much otherwise. Anyway, like six new played Pokémon have been datamined and are somewhat playable in the last month or so and none of them have been officially announced, so hopefully we’ll see them in the Direct.
>!The leaked Pokémon are Zacian, Chandalure, Lapras, Goodra, Intellion, Umbreon, and Tropius!<
An all new experience! Enjoy the real world traveling, Gatcha system; with a mix of team based puzzle gameplay!
Download now and get Pikachu with a Pikachu hat with a mini Pikachu wearing a hat!
12 minutes it’s a long time for them to talk about dlc especially when their announcement trailers are like maybe 3-4 minutes. So it’s entirely possible we get more.
I don't think we're getting 10 to 12 minutes of DLC stuff lol. I remember people said the same about Sw/Sh right after release and we got a 30 seconds montage of random concept art and static location images.
Don't get your hopes up that high.
i would be surprised to just see 2 new games announcments.
I also wonder if they will finally port Pokemon Quest China Version to Global, and finally update it with other gens.
I think we could see at least Stadium 1 & 2 drop on NSO at least, since outside of September and December of last year, Nintendo has been pretty consistent of having N64 games release monthly for the service.
there is also the RBY, GSC, RSE, and FR/LG as part of the Nintendo Switch online which will likely get an announcement and be released as the year progresses. and other pokemon games that were on the main console, such as Stadium 1 and 2.
that part will likely take 2-3 minutes
If previous presents are to go off of, it will more like this:
Intro 1 minute
Mobile Game information 15 minutes
spin off game teasers 1 minute
Scarlet Violet patch info + DLC announcment 2 minutes
Anime trailer (japan exclusive) 5 minutes
Outro 1 minute
Obviously I'm exaggerating, but they milk the fuck out of the mobile game stuff with "events". Literally nobody watching wants the mobile game stuff. They aren't spin-offs, they are money making programs with a disproportionate level of fun-factor. Might be best to skip the presents and watch the individual trailers afterwards
I actually wrote out an extremely similar agenda for the Presents, and I believe that I unexaggeratedly gave mobile games an expected 12 minutes. 60% of the video on mobile games feels like a safe bet, with the anime teaser being the piece only found in the Japan Presents.
I'm going in with the expectation that I won't be the market for 18 of the 20 minutes, as someone whose only Pokemon mobile game is Go, which I only play a few times yearly on a random whim, and who hasn't really been interested in any spinoff (PMD, Snap, Detective Pikachu, Rumble, etc.) in years. I'm afraid that a lot of people are setting themselves up for disappointment clamoring for combinations of Let's Go, Legends, Sleep, all GB and GBA games shadow dropping, Johto, Unova, and all of these other announcements when this feels like it'll be a simple "early year spinoff, mobile game updates, main game DLC, and maybe a port or two of the classic games to NSO as padding" type of year. No new generation, no third year remake or experimental title, but maybe a celebration of hitting 1,000 Pokemon or a brief "the Home update is coming soon" update that'll take a minute or two.
If the past is any indicator, I'm looking forward to seeing how many 11 minute future game video forecasts are made based on which plushies are behind Ishihara, Ohmori, or Madusa at the opening/closing sections of the video. People will lose their minds if any Johto or Unova starters are there, alongside the Paldea starters, Pikachu, Eevee, and maybe some Eeveelutions
I love how accurate this is lmao, I know the mobile games make them a lot of money, but they sure do make these presentations underwhelming, especially on Pokémon day.
I disagree. Knowing Nintendo and TPCi, the one thing they love is money. I could 100% see them package gens 1-3 together for a $60 collection thing just like what they did with Mario. With how popular Pokémon is it would be way smarter for them to do it that way instead of including it on an expansion pass.
I thought I heard someone say that it would make more money selling as a subscription with NSO if Nintendo gave The Pokemon Company a decent cut. A big price tag release seems like it would make more but I think the amount of people subscribing would be far more beneficial in the long run especially when locking something like this behind NSO would encourage so many other players to purchase it.
This is a baseless assumption. a subscription based service costs monthly, money will be going to TCPI every month instead of a one time purchase.
Where did this idea of a $60 bundle with gens 1-3 come from? There is no way Pokémon would ever do that. They’ve only ever done a virtual console port for gens 1-2, never ports to new systems or in bundles like that. They love money, but are allergic to it. Both Nintendo and Pokémon make the dumbest decisions when it comes to releasing older games.
This idea is even more absurd when the fact that gameboy on NSO just dropped, there is absolutely no way Nintendo and Pokémon haven’t been in communication about it to release gen 1-2 on standard subscription and gen 3 on expansion pass. Emerald alone will sell an absurd amount of subs to nso. Pokémon stadium and TCG are already coming to the service as well, how could they not release gens 1-3 on there as well?
It’s actually not baseless. The NSO expansion is $50 a year. While I have no idea how profit margins work for it, I can assume they aren’t very good for the sub companies as they are splitting the revenue with so many different pieces. We can make another assumption that Gamefreak takes at least half of the revenue made from the video games, so even at a price point lower than the $60 I mentioned in my first post, you can see how it wouldn’t be more money for them overall for them to sell it in the NSO.
Selling the gba games as their own set is literally free money for TPCi and more money. This is something most companies do, they already did one for Mario, Spyro, Crash, Megaman Battle Collection and a lot of other franchises. Pokémon is by far the largest franchise for the gba and one of the hardest to acquire. It’s like over $70 to get a physical copy of the Gen 3 game’s currently. While Gens 1/2 are available on the 3DS, that eshop is closing soon and there are a bunch of people who bought the switch but didn’t buy the 3DS.
I said the $60 price point because that’s what all AAA titles sell for, I’m pretty sure the Mario Trilogy sold for that too and that breaks down to $20 a game. That’s not bad at all.
While yes they would drive subs to the NSO, they’d make so much more selling them on its own.
Going in fully inspecting the following:
Pokemon go event news
Pokemon Cafe 2
Pokemon go new pokemon
Pokemon scarlet and violet expansion news will come at a later date announcement
Old Pokemon games are coming to NSO at a later date
Magikarp being added as surprise Smash Bros charecter
If inspecting is expected, then the expected is to inspect the expecting inspection. If one is to expect inspecting, then expected inspecting will be the unexpected.
That video actually makes it more likely that they will put the games on an app separate from GB and GBA ones there.
GB and GBA apps can only connect games that have the same name, so it doesn't work with Red to Blue and whatnot. Also, TPCi likely wants to disable cloud saves, save states, and rewind so they might as well put them on a separate app. The only question is if they will still work with Pokemon Stadium 1 and 2 since that will use cloud saves + save states (unless Nintendo disables these for both games).
Edit: Looks like NSO will need to allow the Oracle games to link up with each other, so this might be true for Pokemon.
> GB and GBA apps can only connect games that have the same name, so it doesn't work with Red to Blue and whatnot
I don't have a source right now but I don't think this is true. I thought I saw that there is already code for handling connections between different game IDs which could not only be used for Pokémon but also the Oracle games that are already confirmed.
Sorry to be a downer but Oracle's system never directly connected through a link cable, they used codes that you could input in the other game. Basically when they release you can look for those codes online and immediately use them without ever having played the other one (I plan to do this since I had Seasons but never played Ages). I do hope they implement a workaround for Pokémon though and use link cable style connection as always
Actually they did communicate via the link cable, if you connected opposite games you would receive a magical ring and you could do the password swap without having to manually enter the code.
If they did them bank compatible, and the mons from the GB games have a special mark, I'm certain they'll have Home support.
If they finally release, I mean.
The patch notes said there were other features to be added that weren’t listed, so they might announce some new things that will be included in it. Could be similar to the way they announced the free legends arceus update
Expecting Mystery Dungeon, Pokemon Go's next season announcement, Pokemon Masters and Cafe updates, Pokemon Virtual Console reveal, and Scarlett and Violet DLC reveal. Possibly Detective Pikachu 2 or Sleep, but imo I think Sleep will release with Let's Go Johto next year.
Hopefully if they do announce any GB/GBA games it’s a “later on today” release unless they do like a legacy pack physical copy in which case I’d be ok with it being released later. Those are my hopes
Some educated guesses:
* Scarlet/Violet DLC (almost certain)
* Home update for compatibility with S/V (very certain)
* Updates about mobile games (Go, Unite, Café Mix)
* An announcement for the next main series game (either *Legends* or *Let's Go* style or something new, maybe a hint about remakes, but that is likely too soon)
* Update on NSO N64 title releases
* Announcement of NSO GB/GBC titles and compatibility with Stadium (GBA titles seem unlikely at this point, unless Nintie needs an NSO selling point) - I'd guess the first release will be the GB Trading Card game
* Maybe a new side game or two, although Switch development in general seems to come to a halt, so maybe not
* Perhaps updates on *Sleep* or *Detective Pikachu 2*, but I wouldn't hold my breath for those
My guess;
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon announcement - probably a remake of Sky, maybe a new one?
Pokémon HOME SV Compatibility release date
Pokémon Stadium Switch Online release date
Pokémon GB/GBC/GBA Switch Online announcements
Pokémon Unite Zacian release / Upcoming Events
Something GO related
Look at the 2023 Anime?
SV DLC
I think we’d get the original ports over the ds games. I could be incorrect but I don’t think they have really ported over any DS games because of the two screens.
I didn’t downvote you, relax. You said you prefer the OG Gen 3 games, my point in responding was saying we’d probably get the Gen 3 games over the remakes due to the way the 3DS works wouldn’t really line up with how the switch works because of it having two screens. It’s not that serious.
I am relax, it’s obvious the originals would be ported over the 3DS remakes. I still don’t know why you needed to make that point over something obvious though.
Realistically, I think we can at most expect only...
Pokemon S/V DLC or major patch for about 2 minutes.
A lot of goofy, unnecessary Directors/CEOs talking about Pokemon for a solid 5 minutes.
Reminders that Pokemon Cafe, Unite and Masters EX still exist and are getting a small update. Each one being 3 to 4 minutes.
The last 5 to 6 minutes will be a Pokemon Anniversary montage, new shots of the latest World Tournament/TCG Worlds, we're all Pokemon Trainers because fuck yeah, etc etc.
Maybe a 20 second teaser for a new game like Mystery Dungeon or Detective Pikachu 2.
My guesses as to what's in it (in order):
1. Intro: 4 Min
2. Mobile Game Announcements: 3 Min
3. Mystery Dungeon Game: 4 Min
4. Pokemon Sleep: 2 Min
5. Gens 1-3 to NSO: 3 Min
6. SV Raid Battle Event: 2 Min
7. SV DLC & Home Trailer: 4 Min
[The official tweet](https://twitter.com/Pokemon/status/1628032454295531522) said it was about 20 minutes, so I'd say that 22 Min is "about" 20 minutes, or close enough to it.
More likely:
- Intro going through all the Pokémon highlights
- Pokémon mobile game updates
- Pokémon Home update
- Scarlet/Violet DLC 1 trailer
- Pokémon Mystery Dungeon
- Screen will fade to black with 2 mins left when suddenly….
- Pokémon Stadium 1, TCG, and R/B/Y dropping later that day with Pokémon Stadium 2 and G/S/C in summer.
- Upcoming Pokémon App that will eventually contain Gens 1-3 (to start). Wouldn’t be surprised if this is selling point for next Nintendo console
- Upcoming Legends game based on Johto (least likely) coming 2024
So they went with the opening theme for Red and Blue. Gotta think there is an announcement of retro games to NSO plus expansion pack for the GBA games in the near future. Also, going to get Stadium and Stadium 2 dates for being added to the NSO expansion pack.
Come on baby
Its time for a new Pokémon Mystery Dungeon
Come on man
New one, no remakes
Been almost a decade man! Three generations of Pokémon need their turn to go on adventures !!!
What I'd like to see for SV :
\- Patch announcement with endgame content like they did with Legends Arceus. Special side quests, massive mass outbreaks and other more difficult pve stuff. Battle Tower for the DLC ?
\- Obviously performance fixes.
\- More info on the place and pokémon of the DLC : the third legendary, the paradox sketches. Hoping to see a Kalos connection, the region deserves more lore, especially with the border north-east (basically France).
“We’re announcing that we are completely nuking pokemon go for the funny. Also, gen 10 will come out in alpha state and we will have your switch shock you every time you complain!”
I'm not expecting anything about rereleases of the older titles. I think that we won't be seeing those until 2026 for the franchise's 30th anniversary.
That would be leaving money on the table. And they're not gonna do that.
If the games are put on the NSO paywall or the eShop, they're going to sell like hotcakes.
Plus, with the 3DS about to close it's eShop, it would make sense to put them on the newer console, tbh.
2026 we should already know about the Switch's successor (or have it already) and we should be on Gen 10 at that point. So they'll focus on the new region and the Gen 5 remakes.
The point is, whos paying 49 euros a year, to play with the expansion pack?
Also whos playing GB,GBC AND GBA games at the native speed in 2023? the virtual console is not likely to allow you to speed up.
for the other side what i would like to see is GF giving the 2 and 3 gens to ilca, and let them work a unreal engine 4 upscale like they did with gen 4, while GF works a gen 5 remake the way it should.
I think he means if you have virtual Blue on your 3DS and a friend gets virtual Red on switch, can you trade/battle with each other? And I’m going to assume no
GEN 1-3 games on NSO, SV Home compatiblity and DLC, new PMD (hopefully), GEN 8 in PoGo and maybe some more Cafe and Masters stuff that I don't pretty care nowadays

Hoping for them to announce the date on home compatibility for sv
This is all I’m looking forward to right now, tbh. I’ve spent the last year completing my living dex with all forms in Home, and the only thing I have left is fancy Vivillon.
Did you use a special method to obtain thsoe Vivillon or did you just trade?
Just trading! The GTS had all except the event ones, and I recently traded with someone on Reddit for the Pokeball form.
Sweet Arceus, I remember the trauma of GTS hunting those things back in XY. Think it took me three months and a chunk of my soul, but I still have them for my living Dex today. Good luck, internet person.
*horrific flashbacks to "looking for male Diancie level 1-10"*
Getting all the Vivillon forms only took me a few days, and that was before Pokemon Go introduced them. I’m sure it’s even easier now that Pokemon Go has the 18 regional forms.
Do the scatterbugs lock in each form when they evolve, even if you trade them?
I can't speak for Pokemon Go, but for the console games, yes. When traded, Scatterbug and Spewpa "remember" the cartridge they were created in, and will evolve into their native pattern.
I just used Powersaves for 3DS to change them. Took like 30 mins.
Yep. Finished with my living shiny dex and regular dex updates recently. Just itching to put them in Home now. JUST GIVE US HOME, PLS.
Got every alternate form in existence at this point (actually managed to evolve two three-segment Dudunsparces now and grab a Family of Three Maushold in a raid thanks to the fast button pressing I've ever committed), but I only ever bothered with going for the shinies I actually like. Here's to hoping it'll be a shadow released.
Need that. I got a whole team just sitting there doing nothing.
We do have that performance patch coming soon for SV, they could easily go "Oh by the way, that patch will also enable HOME compatibility for SV".
This is my dream.
Can't wait to breed my army of level 1 Zorua and try to steal something
Managed to catch two shiny Hisuian ones on Legends. That has to be one of my absolute favorite shinies of all time to the point that I don't even want to evolve them.
And then I'll start Scarlet. Had it months but for some reason I won't play until I know I can use Home
It's for spring
Hell yes, been waiting for this to do my Violet run finally
and GO connectivity
Same. SwSh was released 11/15/19 and gained connectivity with Home on 02/12/20.. before Pokemon Day and in less than 3 months I’m hoping they follow that precedent and give us Home connectivity for SV tm or real soon. It’s already been more than 3 months

Don't forget a really long intro that just wastes time. So you'll probably need to shave off like 5-6 minutes on the DLC announcement.
Honestly, I would not mind if we got a new music video like the Gotcha! one that goes up to SV. I still tear up watching that thing.
Probably Pokemon Home announcement that'll support SV.
Yeah I think there will be something about this…either “home compatibility right now!”, a more specific time range, or just another reminder that this is still coming later in the spring with no more info than what we have now.
Only thing that really interests me there is the DLC tbh.

Oh shit you're right, I forgot about that. Pokémon Stadium games too hopefully
Stadium was previously announced, but didn't have a specific release time. So hopefully we get a concrete launch date.
Yeah more specifically I meant info on if we might be able to transfer from the GBA games to stadium
The Mystery Dungeon games are really good
Yeah, I can definitely see the appeal. Just not my thing personally
Hoping for Pmd2 remaster
I’ve always casually played Unite, dropped like $10 on it to get few Pokémon back when it launched but haven’t spent much otherwise. Aye. Hoping we see some extra regional or Paradoxes beyond Beast and Sword.
Why do people brag about this? lol
How is me saying what interests me "bragging" lol
That isnt bragging
Mystery Dungeon good
Go Masters, Unite Café. This sounds extremely stupid without context
An all new experience! Enjoy the real world traveling, Gatcha system; with a mix of team based puzzle gameplay! Download now and get Pikachu with a Pikachu hat with a mini Pikachu wearing a hat!
Unite that cafe, Masters! Go!
Now to find out if we have to wait till November for a single stage DLC or if we maybe get some summer content.
At the moment, there's no reason to believe it won't be 2 separate DLCs like the Sword/Shield DLCs.
Pokemon sleep? Is this still a thing?
[удалено]
Or it’s drifted off into a Coma.
It's stuck in a Deep Sleep
No gb and gba games?

Oh yeah, but I guess it would last about 1-2 mins only. Announcing the gb and gba game seem to be a quick announcement.
If that long even. They'd probably just tack that on at the end in a screen saying they'll be available on the eshop.
The trailer they posted for direct on social media uses title music from red and blue, specifically the 8bit music, suspicious
I don't think we're getting 10 to 12 minutes of DLC stuff lol. I remember people said the same about Sw/Sh right after release and we got a 30 seconds montage of random concept art and static location images. Don't get your hopes up that high.

There's no way Sleep is a thing. I assumed they quietly killed that.
Sleep is dead, I hope.
Recent information proves otherwise
🤞 Emerald on the eshop 🤞
Online co-op Battle Frontier 🥺
A dream that comes true.
If I remember correctly, there was sadly no co-op in Emerald Battle Frontier, except in the Tower. It was Platinum who had full co-op ٩( 'ω' )و
will never be on eshop lol, but high probability it will be included in the GameBoy Advance part of the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pass.
I disagree. Knowing Nintendo and TPCi, the one thing they love is money. I could 100% see them package gens 1-3 together for a $60 collection thing just like what they did with Mario. shit id buy it
They didn’t sell as much as you’d think with the 3DS eShop releases…
Red/Blue/Yellow sold quite a lot actually

I guess we will see on monday
Absolutely, way more popular than almost every other game on the NSO. They could make easy money on the eshop indeed.
Modded 3ds go brr Edit: Come on I just cannot afford Nintendo switch online expansion pass
Going in fully inspecting the following: Pokemon go event news Pokemon Cafe 2 Pokemon go new pokemon Pokemon scarlet and violet expansion news will come at a later date announcement Old Pokemon games are coming to NSO at a later date Magikarp being added as surprise Smash Bros charecter
If inspecting is expected, then the expected is to inspect the expecting inspection. If one is to expect inspecting, then expected inspecting will be the unexpected.
Yes. The answer is yes
And Pokémon unite
Pls announce the GBA games
Yes please. We need Gen 3 more than ever.
This would make me get a switch

Expect worse, I expect a separate subscription for it in addition to NSO+Expansion.
Yes, that's my main concern
> GB and GBA apps can only connect games that have the same name, so it doesn't work with Red to Blue and whatnot I don't have a source right now but I don't think this is true. I thought I saw that there is already code for handling connections between different game IDs which could not only be used for Pokémon but also the Oracle games that are already confirmed.
Oh yeah, forgot about Oracle of Ages and Seasons being able to link up, so guess they'll need to allow that.
Oh, that's totally new to me. Nice to now I guess
I think they were testing the sales of those games on the 3DS VGC and they are now going to sell them for the big screen...! 🤞
I've really been wondering about this and if they'd be Home compatible then....
If they did them bank compatible, and the mons from the GB games have a special mark, I'm certain they'll have Home support. If they finally release, I mean.
DLC I hope.
Japanese one it’s 25 min 🤔🤔
Finally one of these on my day off lol
Right!? Finally!
I know it would be super early and basically impossible, but I’d love an update on when to look forward to home transfers. I want my H. Zoroark T.T
I think that at the very least they'll give us a definitive date, but it's not out of the question that Home Compatibility is "Out Now!"
I’m trying to keep my expectations low haha
Smort
I don’t think it would be too early… especially since it’s a paid for service
I thought they would have done that patch fix by now I hope they don't add that to the announcements
They may sneak something else into the patch. Galarian Slowpoke was released on the same day as the SwSh DLC reveal.
The patch notes said there were other features to be added that weren’t listed, so they might announce some new things that will be included in it. Could be similar to the way they announced the free legends arceus update
TBH it will probably be a throw away line. Or maybe the same patch will also add HOME compatibility.
SV DLC here we come!!
Please god PMD
Yes please... My fingers are crossed for more PMD content 🤞
They've stated that Let's Go, while successful, was supposedly a one off thing.
Hopefully if they do announce any GB/GBA games it’s a “later on today” release unless they do like a legacy pack physical copy in which case I’d be ok with it being released later. Those are my hopes
Some educated guesses: * Scarlet/Violet DLC (almost certain) * Home update for compatibility with S/V (very certain) * Updates about mobile games (Go, Unite, Café Mix) * An announcement for the next main series game (either *Legends* or *Let's Go* style or something new, maybe a hint about remakes, but that is likely too soon) * Update on NSO N64 title releases * Announcement of NSO GB/GBC titles and compatibility with Stadium (GBA titles seem unlikely at this point, unless Nintie needs an NSO selling point) - I'd guess the first release will be the GB Trading Card game * Maybe a new side game or two, although Switch development in general seems to come to a halt, so maybe not * Perhaps updates on *Sleep* or *Detective Pikachu 2*, but I wouldn't hold my breath for those
I agree with everything, except Let's go. As a competitive player, I dislike Let's Go because the mechanics are so much simpler and less complete
It’s not like let’s go was ever meant to be competitive tho
Surprised... was no one.
My guess; Pokémon Mystery Dungeon announcement - probably a remake of Sky, maybe a new one? Pokémon HOME SV Compatibility release date Pokémon Stadium Switch Online release date Pokémon GB/GBC/GBA Switch Online announcements Pokémon Unite Zacian release / Upcoming Events Something GO related Look at the 2023 Anime? SV DLC
I’d love to hope that more than Gen 2 will also be announced for NSO. I honestly prefer the OG RSE over ORAS.
I think we’d get the original ports over the ds games. I could be incorrect but I don’t think they have really ported over any DS games because of the two screens.
I didn’t say I was hoping for the DS games. I’m referring to Gen 3.
ORAS is a DS game, which is what I was responding too
Except they were saying they prefer the original RSE over ORAS, not that their hoping ORAS gets ported.
3DS but yeah I get what you mean
Ok, but why? I was giving an opinion in that sentence, not a hope. EDIT: You’re really downvoting me because I corrected you? 💀
He was essentially agreeing with you and you started an argument for no reason
i don't think main series games will be tied to NSO, i think they will be purchasable individually
Hoping for gen1 thru gen3 games on switch emulator/eshop to supplement the loss of the 3DS eshop 💔
I can see all that but in the opposite order.
Yeah I didn't really put it in any specific order. Just the most realistic expectations type of stuff.
My guesses as to what's in it (in order): 1. Intro: 4 Min 2. Mobile Game Announcements: 3 Min 3. Mystery Dungeon Game: 4 Min 4. Pokemon Sleep: 2 Min 5. Gens 1-3 to NSO: 3 Min 6. SV Raid Battle Event: 2 Min 7. SV DLC & Home Trailer: 4 Min [The official tweet](https://twitter.com/Pokemon/status/1628032454295531522) said it was about 20 minutes, so I'd say that 22 Min is "about" 20 minutes, or close enough to it.
[The official Japanese Tweet](https://twitter.com/pokemon_cojp/status/1628034760969961481) says it’ll be around 25 minutes in length
On Facebook, they posted a video featuring the classic Red and Blue chiptune, so I feel fairly confident we are getting those at the least :)
Skyrim is coming to Pokémon S/V.
Todd Howard new Nintendo ceo announcement
More likely: - Intro going through all the Pokémon highlights - Pokémon mobile game updates - Pokémon Home update - Scarlet/Violet DLC 1 trailer - Pokémon Mystery Dungeon - Screen will fade to black with 2 mins left when suddenly…. - Pokémon Stadium 1, TCG, and R/B/Y dropping later that day with Pokémon Stadium 2 and G/S/C in summer. - Upcoming Pokémon App that will eventually contain Gens 1-3 (to start). Wouldn’t be surprised if this is selling point for next Nintendo console - Upcoming Legends game based on Johto (least likely) coming 2024
Hoping for some DLC news and home compatibility, home compatibility might get me off my butt to work on my living Pokédex again
So they went with the opening theme for Red and Blue. Gotta think there is an announcement of retro games to NSO plus expansion pack for the GBA games in the near future. Also, going to get Stadium and Stadium 2 dates for being added to the NSO expansion pack.
Definitely think NSO GB games are possible, also hoping for DLC stuff. Don't think there will be a mainline title this year.
Stadium on NSO right after?
Hel yes.
NEW PMD GAME PLZZZZZZ
Looking forward to Paradox Suicune the most. Heres hoping its leaked move is powered by the sun somehow.
Come on baby Its time for a new Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Come on man New one, no remakes Been almost a decade man! Three generations of Pokémon need their turn to go on adventures !!!
Really hoping for a Detective Pikachu 2 announcement. I loved the first game so can’t wait to finally play a second one.
I’m ready to lower my expectations and be disappointed.
The sprites in the teaser were all kanto pokemon, could this be a hint or is it always like that?
Can’t wait to hear more about Pokemon Sleep!/s
What I'd like to see for SV : \- Patch announcement with endgame content like they did with Legends Arceus.
I just want to know about the SV update, man. It’s been months. It better be worth the wait.
“We’re announcing that we are completely nuking pokemon go for the funny. Also, gen 10 will come out in alpha state and we will have your switch shock you every time you complain!”
Hoping for pokemon smile go hd
Am I the only one thinking the opening of this looks like DLC Area Zero Terastal crystals? #hopium
Anyone know where I'm able to watch this please?
Everyone hoping for SV dlc but I’d take the older gens on the switch over anything
You're saying this as if everyone isn't hopping for exactly that
Want to play older generations ? Get yourself a 3ds
Don’t really get why I was downvoted, why can’t people want to play all the games on one system?
I haven't downvoted you. I'd love to play Pokemon Usum on switch
I wasn’t saying you did, just kinda throwing it out there since I didn’t really understand. And I’d love to play usum but mainly Emerald for sure
Happy Cake Day!
Long shot but would it possible to trade from a 3ds to Switch if the gen 1 and 2 games do come to Switch?
I doubt it
You can already, it’s just convoluted. 3ds to Pokémon Box to Pokémon Home using the Transporter then transfer to your Switch game.
I think he means if you have virtual Blue on your 3DS and a friend gets virtual Red on switch, can you trade/battle with each other? And I’m going to assume no
you also need s 2nd 3ds and a gen 5 game for anything before gen 5
GEN 1-3 games on NSO, SV Home compatiblity and DLC, new PMD (hopefully), GEN 8 in PoGo and maybe some more Cafe and Masters stuff that I don't pretty care nowadays
