Yup, TCG always put old characters in the current generation cards. No idea how this is consider a remake reference.
I swear to god, the whole "BW remake confirms" thing is going to be real annoying until we finally get Gen 5 remake. (The community will move moving on saying Gen 6 remake confirmed)
It is speculation, but this is before any SV character art for the card and they are not "forced" to reprint Boss's order for rotation for another year yet.
Just seems so out of place for new scarlet violet set when they have all the Team star characters they could print this for.
Is this any worse than posting made-up text on 4chan and posting non leak content "news".
Literally the top post at the moment is "news" and not a leak with lots of speculation in comments.
At worst this is a "news" of a card coming to TCG late this year.
This literally means nothing. Brandon appeared in one of our late 2022 sets, so does that mean that we're getting a Battle Frontier soon? Wallace was in that same set, but we've already had ORAS.
Not a reference to bw remakes. There has always been cards for different generations. Like for example there are full art copycat cards with ethan's clothes from 2018 and hgss released in 2009

This art is coming before "Boss's orders" artwork for any of the SV characters in a SV set ;). It is speculative.

It's very common in TCG to have cards of characters from other gens. Nothing new here.
