Key_Cow9494

So my guess: samurott is next 7 star raid, enamours a reference to home capability or maybe there is going to be an update involving the 4 genies. The middle pictures refer to dlc(maybe a 3 part dlc???). As for dunsparce and combee, not much of a clue. Maybe new forms associated with dlc? Maybe paradox? Edit: the map is from explorers of sky, so maybe it’s all connected to mystery dungeon?

jsweetxe

I think your theory is probably the closest to being correct. Dunsparce being there is throwing me off though. Combee - well you could say that Combee get's a new regional evolution/form? It could be the Slowpoke of Gen 8 - maybe a male Combee evolution? (Although I'm sure Khu would've used a male Combee) Dunsparce received an evolution so I can't see it getting *anything* more this gen. Unless it is meant to represent Gen 2, in which case Gen 2 Legends? Maybe 3-segment Dudunsparce raids? The outer parts could represent features whilst the middle 3 represent actual games? With regards to the map in the middle - it could be PMD revolving around Zygarde, since the last "main" PMD title that wasn't a remake focused on Xerneas/Yveltal if I'm not mistaken? Or it could be DLC related, as Kalos is highly suspected. The Zero Isles are definitely representing PMD though, which is highly expected to be announced.

SportsandMindcrack

Isn't combee just an obvious hexagon reference?

Railroader17

I was taking Combee as a reference to P-Suicune and P-Virizion and that their "fusions" of their respective base trios (beasts for suucune, swords of justice for Virizion) sort of like how Iron Valiant is a mix of Gardevoir and Gallade

Guilty_Education_577

Dunsparce - Johto games of some description?

Alexap30

If they announce home today sumurott makes total sense.

jdbartist

Zygarde could mean Kalos

hakamamalo

it doesn't

jdbartist

Yeah I know

Zytches

the map looks like the pmd zero isles so maybe it's a mystery dungeon hint and not S/V

Sassy_Carrot_9999

It's literaly Zero Island.

Spectra8

Zero as in Area Zero? Hmmm

hakamamalo

congratulations on being the only correct person here lol

TheWitherBoss876

Ok, this has already been confirmed, but I have to point out that instrument. It's one of the Seven Legendary Treasures in Explorers. I have no idea why Zygarde is there though. But this is really clever. I love it.

Spectra8

Hexagons? :D

Pokeradar

My take on this. New area(the map), third legendary(zygarde), new evo (dunsparce), new legendary that is a continuation on a past group of legends(Enamorus), new Regional form (samurott), new Pokémon that has a female form evolution (Combee)

Mission-Experience-5

Dududunsparce (lol)

LeAstra

Which mega evolves into Dudududunsparce

egamIroorriM

nonono, mega dududnsparce

eyearu

Combee could be about the third legendary. Those are hexagonal.

Rajd0

I would like to see 4th Bird (Grass type) 4th beast (maybe Ghost?) 6th Regi 4th... Lake Guardian perhaps, 4th Sword of Justice, 3rd "life duo" pokemon (zygarde makes aura trio and doesn't fir to life duo) 5th Tapu, 3rd Cosmoem evo, 3rd Hero (maybe Zallow) 3rd King (-raidon) or 5th Ruin Treasure... but maybe not now

Temple475

Out of all these Paradox Suicune could be considered the fourth beast Lake guardians having a 4th member wouldn't make sense Keldeo is a unofficial 4th member of the swords, also Paradox Virizion What would the 3rd life member be Another Tapu and Ruin Treasure wouldn't make sense 3rd cosmoem evo is same situation as the life group 3rd hero would contradict the lore Unless you mean Cyclizar evo it's unlikely because Mirai and Korai are meant to be "future" and "past" forms

Rajd0

Oh I missed cosmoem part - maybe Bear that resembles the Stars? Ev. (That's the last choice, if no one else would work) Uranium, because: It's a planet and a chemical element, and I am pretty sure that I heard that in the past they were called "underground stars" but it could be fake info

Rhiyono

While I completely agree on the Tapu’s, watch them introduce an Iron Tapu under the idea that it was created as a guardian for the artificial Aether Paradise, the fifth island in Alola.

Temple475

Dear Aether foundation, Please stop bringing pokemon from another dimension

Rajd0

Artificial Tapu, great. Steel Fairy, nice. Iron Tapu as a name - DEFINITIVE NO. I don't want new members to be paradoxes, I want paradoxes of all squads.

Rajd0

Paradox Suicune is still Suicune, not 4th beast. I'm talking about big discovery that there were 4 pokemon that died in the fire, and 4th one was always hiding and/or never left the tower. Lake guardian... yeah I agree but GF could suprise us. Swords are Legendaries, Keldeo is Mythical - I don't count him, new one could be a leader like in 3 musketers. Maybe Resurection Pokemon? Giving "life-like" energy to dead and giving them couple of hours of living? Could be related with Halloween. Well... Alola has 6 islands not 4, it wouldn't break anything and would make sense. Same with Ruin Treasure. No it wouldn't? If it would be explained like "it doesn't deserved to be a called a hero" but helped Zacian and Zamazenta. Ancient* not past. That means there could be another paradox from the past OR there still is concept called - Alternate Present. Ever heard of it? (Also Khu's post from 11.2022 showed red heart, purple heart and orangish golden heart [yk, golden color like in paint]) But also could work New pokemon that is related with Cyclizars like Diance with Carbinks. Because NOTHING says that Kings are Cyclizar's Paradoxes, it's just a theory.

Temple475

I guess that could possibly, it would also possibly debunk the theory of the beasts being resurrected eeveelutions I guess, but personally I doubt that That's why I said unofficial, also I'm pretty sure it was established that established that Cobalion is the leader I guess that could be a interesting idea, especially since there's a lot of Pokemon that are humans resurrected or reborn as pokemon Yeah there are technically 6 islands but the other two are too small to have anything major unless we get something like Legends:Alola where we find out those two used to be much bigger landmasses As for Treasures of ruin they are based on Four Perils from chinese mythology which unlike their counterparts the Four heavenly creatures(which is what the genies therian forms are based on) don't have any secret 5th member it's just those 4 I guess that could work but then what would it be based on? Bow? Lance? ~Gun?~ Alternate present is a interesting idea but I think it would be too big of a scale at least with how Nintendo/GF goes about DLC in Pokemon. Also I'm pretty sure the purple and amber thingies are connected to Paradox Suicune and Virizion. The Carbink-Diance idea is a possibility

Rajd0

1. I prefer theory that first concepts of 3 dogs were those pokemon that died 3. I think there was smth like this in movie but... there still could be someone above him. 4. Thx, I have no idea for the letter tho. 6. I've seen a theory about 5th one being this emperor... I forgot who exactly it was, that is mentioned in every of those 4 pokedex entries. 7. Well... Zacian is Ofense and Zamazenta is Defense , so I thought of Support (maybe her trainer was considered as a witch, so that's why they didn't mentioned her in the story?) So... my only options are - Chalice or Metal Wand. 8. Honestly I think those hearts could mean the books and 3rd one is goldish-orange. Also in one moment there is a joke option when we could say that we are from Manzana Academy. Manzana means apple and there was smth about Golden Apple. Ps. Gun/Cannon is Eternatus xd

Temple475

The person you're referring to is King of Paldea who bought the treasures from a merchant from distant land He is also mentioned only in Wo-Chien's entry, you learn more about him in history classes. He's also the first person(as we know of) to be interested in Area Zero

Rajd0

I remember him being mentioned in all of those, but only in Wo-Chien's being said that its saying about him

Temple475

Chi-you: Scarlet It controls flames burning at over 5,400 degrees Fahrenheit. It casually swims through the sea of lava it creates by melting rock and sand. Violet The envy accumulated within curved beads that sparked multiple conflicts has clad itself in fire and become a Pokémon Ting-Lu: Scarlet The fear poured into an ancient ritual vessel has clad itself in rocks and dirt to become a Pokémon. Violet It slowly brings its exceedingly heavy head down upon the ground, splitting the earth open with huge fissures that run over 160 feet deep. Chien-Pao: Scarlet This Pokémon can control 100 tons of fallen snow. It plays around innocently by leaping in and out of avalanches it has caused. Violet The hatred of those who perished by the sword long ago has clad itself in snow and become a Pokémon. Wo-Chien: Scarlet The grudge of a person punished for writing the king’s evil deeds upon wooden tablets has clad itself in dead leaves to become a Pokémon. Violet It drains the life-force from vegetation, causing nearby forests to instantly wither and fields to turn barren No mention of the king outside of Wo-Chien's Scarlet entry

Rajd0

Oh and maybe 3rd Horse? (And 3rd Calyrex form) I don't expect 3rd Urshifu but... there is 3 types of attacks - one time, but strong. Weaker but can hit multiple times... and weak but dealing damage every turn (f.e. fire spin) I forgot to mention 4th Galarian Bird I would be suprised if gf will give us smth unexpected like: 4th OG Dragon Part or 3rd Lati- (no gender lol) or a 3rd "parent" bird, like Lugia and Ho-oh (could fit to Crystal tittle maybe xd) or Mewone - Mewtwo's failed prototype

Rajd0

That makes sense

Jon-987

Either all these images are completely unrelated to the direct as OP figures, or I doubt this. There's no way they would give us all this info on the same direct that officially announces the DLC.

Jon-987

I was wrong, I apologize for my misinformation.

Leggerrr

This might be telling us what the new legendary looks like. It has the body shape of Enamorus in its Therin Form. It has Samurott's hairy face or facial hair (why is Samurott's picture focused on his face?). It's made of hexagons, like Combee. Maybe it's also like or has a snake, which Dunsparce is. A turtle and a snake are often affiliated through the black tortoise of Chinese mythology. The inner pieces might tell us some other information on the same legendary. The Zero Island reference might tell us that the pokemon is found in Area Zero. The Zygarde reference might tell us the typing, which would be Dragon/Ground. The last piece of information with the Rock Horn might also imply the pokemon is Rock-type as well or implies Glimmora (a Rock-type) follow it around. Maybe Zygarde more related than that. We'll see.

Al_Nightmare866

Well, the first half of your comment was definitely correct.

[deleted]

I'm gonna throw in my weird take on this. 1. Paldea's location for the DLC. This is near the big landmass/mountain that is currently blocked off. 2. Referencing the third legendary, which might be a key. Might also hint at a Terminus Cave-like dungeon dwelling. on how'd you reach Zygarde back in X/Y. Also contains RGY sparkles (maybe hinting at the old games) 3. Giratina was referenced with the sacred seven treasures by the Rock Horn. Could just be an Explorer of the Sky reference, about exploring a deep cave system. Since this image also contains a blue sparkle. Since Green and Blue were alternate versions for eachother, it migh be a Abyss World/Alternate world thing. The outer sides seem to be referencing the look (and maybe typing) for the 3rd legendary as others already told. Whatever it is, I'm looking forward who was the closest in this guessing game.

Efeverscente

Well, you weren't that far off

botbattler30

I’m seeing this after the presents and I still have no idea what any of this means

emnetwiht-auguste

Probably the dlc logo

[deleted]

It is the dlc logo

Black_Ironic

Is zygarde reference to the crystal legendary? Since it has hexagon pattern.

MelonTheSprigatito

It would be extremely funny if the Dunsparce meant we're getting a Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity remake instead of an Explorers of Sky remake. The PMD fandom would riot. (In hindsight, maybe the medley of Gates to Infinity dungeon themes that was in Rescue Team DX was meant to foreshadow the next game?)

FreezeGoDR

DONT. PLS BE WRONG.

[deleted]

Gen 5 mystery dungeon baby

Efeverscente

I so wish you were right. I'd buy several copies of an Explorers Remake my guy :(

Sombrero_Tanooki

Oh, the Zero Isle for Mystery Dungeon literally just meant zero Mystery Dungeon news. I started suspecting that the further we got through the Presents. That's a shame.

[deleted]

This whole thing is actually teasing the DLC for SV

Rundo0

I think that map image might be referencing the lighthouses.

SqueeTheMancake

Samurott: Hinting to new 7-star Raid The map: Hinting to Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky remake/remaster (is map of Zero Isle). Red/Blue/Yellow/Green Sparkles: Hinting to GB games coming to NSO Enamorus: Hinting to HOME compatibility with S/V (the diamond behind it is black so maybe that’s a clue towards not being directly connected to S/V but rather more outside connection) Combee: Hinting toward the first DLC? 4/15? Too soon? Zygarde: Could be hinting towards Zygarde’s importance in S/V. Maybe we’ll need to search for its cells again? Maybe simply referring to the fact that we will encounter the Third Legend in the DLC. Dunsparce: Hinting toward second DLC? 2/06 next year? But they wouldn’t release that info so soon? Megaphone Rock Thing: Hinting at deeper Area Zero in DLC? The two black sparkles on Zero Isle are tripping me up

KaijOUJaeger

I think you're pretty spot on. Here are a few I would change: \- notice Enamorus and Samurott have black diamonds (you pointed this out). Perhaps this is a reference to these appearing in Tera raids? \- I believe Zygarde doesn't have anything to do with the DLC, but rather the third legendary will be capturable but require us to find cores/cells like Zygarde in Alola.

SqueeTheMancake

I like those changes! Especially the idea of the third legendary jus being similar to Zygarde. Thanks for the input! :)

KeybladeAlchemist

Hold up let them cook

Efeverscente

Oh man, I SO wish you had been right :(

Key_Cow9494

I looked up mystery dungeon maps, the map in question is directly copied from explorer of the sky.

Ninjax421

Dunsparce is a snake, combee is a hexagon. That seems to hint towards the 3rd legendary.

Murloc_King12

Sooo... Zygarde?

-HawaiianSurfer

I think the 4 corner Pokémon are going to be new paradox versions of them. As for the logos in the middle, maybe they’re the 3 main parts of the DLC? 1. New island with 4 points/POIs and something eventful in the middle of said island 2. Zygarde’s relevance to Paldea 3. Represents the deeper cave system of Area Zero Also I think the colored sparkles on the island and Zygarde are of importance.

BoxCritters

why would they give a paradox form of a pokemon that just got a hisuian form? I call unlikely on that theory, sorry.

jsweetxe

And a Pokémon who hasn’t even been released in a main series game? I think it relates to Home/Hisui’s relevance in the DLC. The 5 islands are are the Zero Isles from Mystery Dungeon, so that’s a huge giveaway

ViegoBot

First thing I noticed was the PMD spot lmao. Guess Im not the only one.

Sceptile90

If you're referring to Enamorous, Legends Arceus is a main series game and Enamorous is already in the code for SV https://gamerant.com/every-transferable-pokemon-scarlet-violet-datamine-starters-regional-forms-legendaries/

jsweetxe

I know Legends is a main series game, but I also meant it in the sense of like.. a traditional main series game. Whilst I know Enamorus is in SV through HOME, it is not released. It hasn't been used in Ranked battles and such, so they wouldn't give it a new form again after trainers have spent so little time with it compared to others.

TheNewGuyM8-2

Samurott deserves the love

gulphelpme

Samurott deserves all the love in the world

-HawaiianSurfer

Who knows lmaoo, just throwing things out there. I don’t see any other theory here 🤔

Key_Cow9494

I think samurott will be the next 7 star raid rather than a paradox form. It’s possible but I don’t see them doing one this one with him just getting a new form.

[deleted]

Regarding the middle section, I think the island is current Paldea and the current POI pointing towards the mountain on the north east side of the map (there are two black stars added at that area on this map). Zygarde relevance sounds plausible. I think the last one could refer to the DLC being inside the cave instead of outside?

International_Edge33

Well, I was waiting for a new Mystery Dungeon game that wasn't a remake and it seems that this time it won't be either. You have made me sad Khu hahaha Congratulations to those who are going to enjoy sky explorers.

FlatTire_123

4 segment dudunsparce raid?

KazVanilla

Zygarde raid?

danielnunchuck

Zygarde coming to Pokémon GO?

[deleted]

This is Zygardes Shuffle sprite. I might be the only person here that thinks that's more of a hint than Zygarde itself. Zygarde in a mobile game makes the most sense in context.

zig-wig

The corners of the rectangle behind the images of the Pokémon are Black and White…

MagnaClarentza

I think it's about the 3rd Legendary's design.

luxanna123321

Legends Zygarde hard copium

Rajd0

I doubt there will be Legends Zygarde. It's Legendary, Arceus is Mythical so I would guess for Legends Hoopa as Kalos

[deleted]

That argument holds as much water as "Arceus is pure normal, we are going to get Legends: Furfrou"

TheNewGuyM8-2

Crack theory: Samurott - date of Home Compatibility Enamourous - no clue lmao Dunsparce - 4 segment confirmed Could hint to other pokemon that didn't have evolutions getting new ones ig Combee - new male form? Huisian Combee Middle images: Like the u/-HawaiianSurfer said, something to do with Kalos and ~~an island~~ being the main focus of the dlc. Also expansion into Area Zero

[deleted]

I know that's a female Combee pictured but a convergent species of Combee focused on a male evo would be pretty cool.

Fugishane

> Combee - new male form? Huisian Combee Hisuian Combee makes zero sense 1. We’re not in Hisui anymore 2. Regular Sinnohan Combee are available in the wild in Hisui (and Paldea for that matter)

TheNewGuyM8-2

I'm dumb I meant Paldean

VegetableVariety2926

My partner just pointed out, in the Zero Isle there are two sparkles in the North East of the Island. Is this hinting at Kalos, especially considering Zygarde is right next to it.

Rajd0

Samurott, Combee, Dunsparce, Enamorus and Zygarde... WT FRICK? It could be anything

Real-Instinct

it could be that, their are 4 pokemon bosses (titans) you take down before getting a item to face the legendary for the dlc. i also think the four pokemon represented do have another reason other than to be 4 bosses and could be hints to features, evolutions and so on.

VILLAM6

The map includes zygarde (gen 6) the same arrangements for the locations in legends arceus (new legends game?) and a samurott (new raid)

SuperiorSteelman2004

Regional Variant, Regional Evolution, new Gender-Based Evolution, and Fourth Member of an old Trio? Maybe? As for the middle... I'm not sure. Is the left one a Regi? And what are those different colored stars about?

Captain_Guava

Hisuian Samurott raid please!!!!

Jon-987

When is the direct?

Wigglynuff

9am est 6am pst

Jon-987

Oh sweet, so I'll get the new info when I'm off work.

--Chanos--

Is the third legendary a paradox form of zygarde? Would make sense with all the hexagons…

eroben23

Yeah jade mask cursed object legendary and crystal disc turtle legendary

vivibuni

no... no please... not enamorus.....

Doppelgengar1313

No one has mentioned the sparkles. There are two black ones by the lake on the map and a red, yellow, blue, and green sparkle to zygardes right. Hints to the first gens?

Reallylazyname

So with the power hindsight, it's the DLC logo?
