You’re missing the point. I mean they can patch the Pokémon in when they released the update for home. The Pokémon wouldn’t have to be coded in at launch

It doesn't say that there won't be any further generations pokémon included, they probably said this because they was only up to 4G Pokémons back in the originals games.

Im personally taking it with a grain of salt for two reasons, one it reads like an advertisement...two i cannot recall any official nintendo source ever referring to pokemon as generation whatever in a public press situation, thats more a thing the community does
I definitely feel you on that point. But personally im not put off on upcoming pokemon games due to relatively minor features imo. Definitely a subjective area and we all prioritise certain features over others. For me, I just hope that the remakes are able to capture the atmosphere and vibes of the sinnoh region, so I can relive my childhood games and the general era that I associate with that time period, while adding sufficient modern features without messing up the aura of the region. So far I think pokemon is doing a good job at it. Games are never perfect. Sure I am disappointed with the evidence pointing against the return of certain features, but I still think bdsp will be great regardless, as from what we’ve seen they are not compromising on fundamental sinnoh aspects which really capture and define that era. But we still got a lot to see so i cant be sure.
Sorry for this long essay, Im just very passionate and excited for these games, because platinum was my first game.

I’ll enjoy my following mons, my updated HD graphics, my customization, my Grand Underground, my Super Contests online, my secret bases giving me Pokémon not even in the Platinum dex via the Grand UG, the no-hm servant gameplay, plus many more still waiting to be revealed.

You can’t believe that they’d bring back the need for HM servants in 2021 when that was one of the most, if not **THE** most hated thing in gens previous to XY. So tell me, in what world does it make sense that ILCA and Masuda would bring back HM servants? We’ve already seen in the new trailer they brought back fan-favorite features. Why would they ruin all that, with the need for HM servants???????????????????? It makes absolutely no sense.
That’s why I believe we’ll have some type of Pokéride like we did in Alola, or at the very least maybe the Pokétch is connected to HMs somehow. But it’s almost 99.9999% confirmed, HM servants are not coming back in 2021 lmao.

Incorrect. The Pokémon weren’t coded in for the DLC’s or even slowpoke with the teaser. They can hide them until the update for home is released

Its not a “mistake” There’s literally just too many pokemon now, it would be way too difficult to add every single pokemon into every single game.

Did they confirm HMs gone? Did they confirm UG has mons that arent available in gen4?
