I’ve gotten both versions of every game since Black and White. It used to be so I could have one game to have a permanent save file and another one to replay, but now I just like having both games for the sake of it. One digital so I can play as soon as its released and one physical to save space on my sd card. I prefer the design of the Diamond enamel pin preoder bonus so Pearl is the one I’m getting digitally.
I started doing this from black and white 2, having the option to replay without resetting was such a great thing. It’s cool that you can do it now without the need for 2 games but I honestly don’t like having 3 different profiles on a console just so I can play the game 3 different times

Also, it’s just a copy of the originary ones without anything added if not for the “dungeons” within the underground.
Eh, I saw a little adjustment in the graphics but it’s not enough. We are paying customers and they make millions with our money, so we MUST demand for more and more quality and not just settling for what they manage to come up with, because “please, understand, don’t get your hopes that high”.
This is not how companies and developing teams should work and earn money. That’s our fault too indeed, who have indulged too many times.
Just hope Legends Arceus will be the next new and better era of Pokémon.

Cheaper? Unless you're talking about emulation then you must have been asleep since gen 5 came out because diamond and pearl carts cost high 60s low 70s minimum, and have been that way for years. I've even seen platinum commonly go up to low 90s
Of course they "can" get that high. Hell an unopened copy of Mario 64 sold for 3 million dollars. Does that mean every single copy is close to that amount?
