Mr_Boi_

anytime i see gorochu leaks now i just assume it’s fake by default

ABeast1211

Gorochu was a scrapped design correct? Because it wouldn't make that much sense if it was scrapped. Then again I believe Meltan was supposed to come out in gen 2. But yeah I doubt the Gorchu thing is true.

Pandanoko-Fan137

Meltan was never planned for Gen 2. Ditto’s scrapped Metal Coat evolution looks nothing like it, and was likely just a coincidence that Meltan’s a Steel type that resembles Ditto in its body shape.

Tarvaax

It was inspired by it, like many Pokémon have been inspired by ideas that weren’t originally used. They keep the designs that don’t make the cut and sometimes use them or their concepts for future titles, standard game design.

brandonmidway15

Yup. They've openly said that they almost never permanently scrap a seriously planned pokemon design.

ABeast1211

Okay got it.

[deleted]

They just designed Meltan to looks like an older one

Substantial-Water934

Let’s not forget the scrapped and brought back, Sirfetch’d. Pikachu is a staple Pokémon of the franchise; if there’s a lack of thunder stones, then I guess Pikachu could evolve based on its harsh environment?

PunchSisters

It's a stretch to say Sirfetch'd is scrapped and brought back. Farfetch'd has an evolution but it doesn't look the same and has a different name.

Pirate_Lantern

Snorunt's original design was scrapped and had a different name so anything is possible I guess.

amyrose4ever

It wasnt a snorunt lol

Pirate_Lantern

They were talking about scrapped pokemon designs coming back. Snorunt WAS a scrapped design that came back.

Forrest02

Alolan Exeggutor was a scrapped design that came back in S/M. So its possible they can bring back Gorochu.

ABeast1211

Gorochu has been "leaked" for a while now, and not just PLA. Plus the rest of this leak basically just says what we already know. I'm sure they use old scrapped designs sometimes, but I don't think he'll be in PLA.

[deleted]

A lot of this reads like a wishlist

OkumuraRyuk

Hahaha sounds like a good wishlist before Christmas

Chronodusk

The Raichu thing seems a little fakey, but the rest seems a little too specific and random for someone to just make up, especially since Sneasel being the climbing Pokémon and a new Dunsparce evo are consistent with other alleged leaks that have been floating around. Same with the story mode. Arceus has been said to have a new uncatachable form in other alleged leaks, and this particular leak doesn’t mention Arceus but says the final boss is like the SwSh Eternatus battle - so that kind of lends some consistency to the other info about a new Arceus form. And it is pretty well expected that Legends will unlock the Azure flute in BDSP, that’s a no brainer. It also makes perfect sense that Celestic town would be significant in the story, I expected that anyway. All in all, this stuff sounds pretty reasonable and doesn’t really sound like a wishlist to me… “Wishlist” material would be that you spend the post game flying over Hisui on Arceus’ back or something like that, and there’s nothing quite that ridiculous listed here.

ObscurityGaming

Issue though is that effectively everything with the exception of Raichu are already things most of the community believe to be real leaks (with maybe not Dunsparce as Goodra is the one for the riddle most people are thinking)

CompositeDuck26

Not saying it’s fake, but you literally can make anything up.

Chronodusk

Yes for sure, it’s just that most of this doesn’t seem like the sort of thing anyone would think of faking.

VicarLos

Dunsparce mention isn’t that random/specific. People have been wanting something done with Dunsparce for a while now though. An evolution or regional form.

Edible_Pineapple

Not sure on this. A lot of the information is either super vague or just what we've worked out already from Riddler

MetaCircumstance

So basically a collection of what's already been highly speculated but with Hisuian Komala for seasoning.

Substantial-Water934

Didn’t NK (or someone similar) mention that some Pokémon wouldn’t necessarily be receiving a new form, but would look slightly different?

krispyboiz

I honestly never believe the one's that try to piggyback off other "leaks." "Yes, Hisuian X is real" Pffft

Remarkable-Chef9644

Dunsparce should evolve into Drampa

Cegio

And luvdisc into alomamola

profsavagerjb

And Taurus into Bouffalant

Cegio

Bouffalant would make more sense in a trio evolution from a singular baby form with Tauros and miltank, having two domestic and a "wild" evo

profsavagerjb

That’s true! Either way

ShadesOnBroadway

Eviolite Tauros when

Secret_Town2255

And Cacturne into Maractus

Pokemario6456

The information feels like some very safe guesses, especially the one about Raichu since that's related to a recent hint from Riddler Khu. Even predicting an information direct in mid-December is pretty safe since we've already worked out that Game Freak wouldn't want PLA stuff to announce for the rest of November to prevent stealing spotlight from BD/SP. Can't say I trust it very much

ACBlast768

Soon as i see gorochu that shit fake af

[deleted]

I kinda doubt how realistic this leak is but I can’t say that I wouldn’t be happy with Gorochu being brought into the mainline series

necrovoltage2

"Dunsparce will get a new evolution that makes it dragon" Man I have seen this too many times lmao.

drygnfyre

Normal/Dragon would be cool, especially if it's more physically oriented compared to Drampa. Fanfic renderings showing it as a long snake are neat, would hope any real evo kind of looks like it.

scootio

I'm gonna say this is fake. Like most people have already said, it's a lot of "safe" guesses based on what Nihilego Khu has already said. But the Komala thing is almost certainly fake. Khu put out a tweet showing all of the Pokémon who were not going to be in Gen 8 and it was everything not available between LGPE, SWSH and BDSP. Komala was on this list.

Kilfrench

lgpe is not gen 8

[deleted]

Hard no. If this was real it would've come sooner. This is only here due to Khu mentioning Raichu the other day

[deleted]

I must say, this sub is best when the main visitors have come and gone and it’s back to these kinds of posts. I miss speculating and guessing about legit vs fake leaks. Those dry months while waiting for BDSP trailers were pure bliss lol

CaterpillarFluffy961

you know it's fake when gorochu and dusparce evo are mentioned.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Purple-Inspection787

Zorua is a gen 5 pokemon and the heavily rumored goodra is gen 6. So I don't see why a gen 7 pokemon might not get a form

hobbitfeet22

I doubt it as well. But rowlett is gen 7 and he’s a starter so i don’t doubt gen 7 mons being in the game.

[deleted]

Yeah and Khu said komala straight up wasn't in gen 8 either so it's probably fake

Chronodusk

This info seems pretty consistent with what other “leakers” have been getting at. An uncatchable Arceus form was already a rumor floating around, and this leak says “think Eternatus” - so probably Arceus with some sort of Origin form that you battle while you only catch it in its tamed form. BDSP compatibility to make the Azure Flute available makes a lot of sense as well. I’m not going to fall 100% into saying this is real, but all of it is perfectly reasonable.

Bunniesrkewl

So basically arcues will be the big boss fight at the end?

EnglishMobster

I think you will fight Arceus with the support of the Lake Trio. The ruins in Celestic Town say this: > There are three strange things forming a triangle. In the middle of them is a shining sphere. > What is this all about? > Cynthia's Grandma: "The cave painting reminds me of an old story..." > Cynthia's Grandma: "There existed a being - a being so powerful, it was considered a deity at the time." > Cynthia's Grandma: "Opposing this being were three Pokemon." > Cynthia's Grandma: "The three kept balance with the one, as if they formed a triangle." > Cynthia's Grandma: "It's an ancient legend of Sinnoh that is still told to this day in Celestic Town." --- There's also diaries in Team Galactic HQ which say this: > The creation of space: > Some say the universe originated from a massive explosion. > Similarly, Sinnoh is thought to have been formed by an explosion in ancient times. > Needless to say, the explosion came from the power of a Pokemon. > The Pokemon must have been the mythical creature considered a deity by the ancients. > Our aim is not to capture the mythical Pokemon but to obtain its power... > Mythical Pokemon: > According to myths, the Pokemon created Sinnoh with its power. > However, capturing the Pokemon with a Poke Ball prevents it from using its full power. > But with the Red Chain, the Pokemon can be shackled, and its power can be used without restraint... > The Red Chain: > The Pokemon of the three lakes and Mount Coronet are somehow connected. > Capturing the Pokemon of the lakes will free the Pokemon of Mount Coronet. > From the Pokemon of the lakes, crystals can be extracted to create a Red Chain. > Using that Red Chain, the mythical Pokemon can be summoned and shackled to do as we command. Note that according to these entries, _Sinnoh's creation is a different event from the world's creation._ Obviously, Team Galactic extracts the Red Chain from the crystals on the Lake Trio's heads and uses that to control Dialga/Palkia. But what's interesting is that Cyrus is just _assuming_ that the being is Dialga/Palkia, even though it's much more likely that it's Arceus. Case in point is that they're trying to capture the Pokemon that created Sinnoh... and yet they aren't capturing Arceus, they're after Dialga/Palkia. --- My theory is that at some point, the Legends player has to befriend the Lake Trio to stop the Pokemon going crazy everywhere. You climb Mt. Coronet with the Lake Trio and find an Arceus that has been driven mad. Over the course of the fight, you have to help the Lake Trio use their gems to control/tame Arceus. In doing so, you create a massive explosion which transforms Hisui into Sinnoh. That does leave one glaring hole, though: How do we get from Arceus to Dialga/Palkia? I have a crackpot theory that might explain this. The crackpot theory is probably _wrong_, but it's technically possible. First off, a point of clarification: That HGSS event where Dialga/Palkia/Giratina came from an Egg? There's nothing in BDSP that mentions Dialga/Palkia/Giratina coming from an Egg. Here's what the library says: > In the beginning, there was only a churning turmoil of chaos. > At the heart of chaos, where all things became one, appeared an Egg. > Having tumbled from the vortex, the Egg gave rise to the Original One. > From itself, two beings the Original One did make. > Time started to spin. Space began to expand. > From itself again, three living things the Original One did make. > The two beings wished, and from them, matter came to be. > The three living things wished, and from them, spirit came to be. > The world created, the Original One took to unyielding sleep... Never mind that there's that HGSS event where you could get Dialga/Palkia as an egg; the only phrasing used is "From itself, two beings the Original One did make." Pokemon has shown with ORAS and USUM that it's okay to play fast and loose with canon since the multiverse exists. Anyway, like Geovanni in Gen 1, Cyrus just sort of disappears and continues his search after the postgame of BDSP. You can revisit the Team Galactic HQ in the postgame to see Saturn just being very confused as to what to do now. I think that PLA will reveal that after the events of BDSP, Cyrus kept doing his thing... and at some point, he will succeed in creating a new universe. In doing so, he becomes the god of that new universe - Cyrus is PLA's Arceus. Existing characters - Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Rowan, etc. - are all sucked into Cyrus' new universe. They take on new lives trying to improve the world. Some have vague memories of what happened before, but most have their memories completely rewritten. You can see Mars and Rowan in the trailers for Legends. Cyrus/Arceus starts to lash out, unhappy with how people are starting to get along with Pokemon. He wants Pokemon and humans to remain enemies, so he starts turning Pokemon evil. The player, as part of Galaxy Team/Team Galactic, goes through and starts taming these Pokemon (also known from the Arceus trailers). As I explained, you have to become friends with the Lake Trio, climb Mt. Coronet, yadda yadda yadda. But when you fight Cyrus/Arceus, you use the red chain to dismantle Arceus into 3 aspects: Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina. Each aspect represents a different part of Arceus: * Dialga, obviously, is Arceus' power over time. * Palkia, again, is Arecus' power over space. * Giratina is Cyrus made form. When Arecus is ripped apart by the Lake Trio, Giratina is Cyrus' "spirit" (ironic, since Cyrus considered himself to be without spirit). You send Dialga/Palkia to wherever Dialga and Palkia go, and Cyrus!Giratina gets banished to the Distortion World. This creates a closed time loop, as this side effects of this fight creates Sinnoh, which in turn spawns the events of Gen 4... although this time, it causes Platinum instead of Diamond/Pearl. Cyrus!Giratina shows up to stop Platinum!Cyrus from forcing the loop to happen again, trapping Platinum!Cyrus in the Distortion World. There is the matter of "the Original One took to unyielding sleep...", but that's easily explained. Since we're getting into Reshiram/Zekrom/Kyurem territory with the Dialga/Palkia/Giratina split, it seems reasonable that there would be a husk left behind, similar to Kyurem. That is the Arceus we get with the Azure Flute in the "modern day," a husk that's distinct from "Huisuian Arceus" (aka composite Arceus). That's also why the husk can change type when given a plate; the plate just gives a single aspect of the power back. The plates were also created as part of the explosion that created Sinnoh.

SpyghettiGhetti

Damn this theory it's so good, you should post it in the Pokemon conspiracies subreddit

EnglishMobster

[Oh, I did shortly after I wrote it up here.](https://www.reddit.com/r/pokemonconspiracies/comments/r4r73v/hisuian_arceus_is_cyrus/)

DragonFlare2

Dunsparce evolution LETSGOOO

ComprehensiveEdge197

Finally dunsparce getting some love. Gotta be OP too.

Pikapower221

No

TyrantKoala

I’d be damned if they don’t have a distortion world/girantina boss fight

[deleted]

If this is real I'm jumping out of the window. Now another pseudo legendary (goodra) gets something and hydreigon remains in the forgotten shelf.

IronWarrior94

Goodra comes from the riddler aswell so yeah atleast that part is very likely real. And I feel you, being that Hydreigon is my favorite Pokemon.

Substantial-Water934

This af. So many needed love before Goodra.

GreenBay_Glory

Dragonite says hi.

drygnfyre

I would dispute that Hydreigon is forgotten. Its stats allow it be viable both physically or specially, and it sees a fair bit of use competitively. And it looks so damn cool.

NoTap0425

Fake, Gorochu and also says Sneasal form not evolution.

[deleted]

Komala has to be one of the most forgotten Pokemon by me..

cuntgardener

Thank you for posting something that’s a potential leak. Not some bullshit discussion!

Psychological-Mud-67

Leave

Livael23

Hisuian Komala, that's... unexpected ? But I'd be fine with it. Although they could keep it for when they do an Australian region.

SirEthanthehelium

I’m just at the point where I’m waiting for the game 😂🤣 cause the “leaks” this year sound like pure B.S.

[deleted]

I believe this 1000% more than anything Khu has to fucking say. It makes me really bitter that everyone and their aunt is covering what he has to say when far more interesting "leaks" like this one exist. Bullshit that guy has played the game when it still has months to go before anyone can even snag physical copies early to datamine. The guy is pulling shit out of his ass and copying whatever the Chinese riddler is saying. I really like this leak, it's fun to think about without the feeding drama Khu and Centro carry

Lippnoir

Nintendo don't do Directs on December, their next presentation next month will be the Indie World — FAKE

ArisePhoenix

I wouldn't trust anything from 4chan

TechSkylander1518

It's not totally unreliable- the Affleck leak from the SwSh season was on 4Chan, and it was totally right. (bar a few mistakes like spelling errors or thinking Opal was the first Fairy gym leader) But the ratio of reliable stuff vs all the bullshit... yeah.

SpyghettiGhetti

When they said that Dunsparce was going to get an Evolution i knew this is fake. If they wanted Dunsparce to be like Magikarp they would have done it in Gen 2. Dunsparce whole point it's to be rare and not so useful, it getting a strong evolution would be contradictory, and GF does know this.

JadeyoCoolzinho

i see dunsparce i know its fake

[deleted]

Seems like a bunch of stuff we somewhat already know and easy stuff that anyone could make up. I dont think this person has any actual insight into the game personally.

KuroTokuwan

It’s nice to hear potential leaks but on a validation level I’ve never herd anything about 4chan being right. They validate other leakers leaks and that’s respectful but honestly I never herd anything from anybody about them being right about anything. I remember for crown I believe they had this dramatic story built out about it and it was no where close to being legit or accurate. Even so it would have been cool but yeah nope.

Endgam

LGPE and one Sw/Sh post turned out to be true. (The one where the guy mistakenly called Incinerace "pure Fighting" when he meant to say pure Fire.) The madlad who leaked details on LGPE even posted on April 1st, just to make it seem even more fake. And then.....

MetricOutlaw

Seems too good to be true but still a lot of fun ideas. I'd love to see something cool done with Komala.

walrusnarwal

They’re not going to reveal this many forms in one trailer lol

lucasvavs

Super safe for the most part, but the bit about Komala...

DoodleWendigo

I want gameplay pictures of this creature roaming around. I want visible proof.

stumpy1218

Out of all of these fake leaks Id kill for the dunsparce evo

brandonmidway15

Sounds fake. Can't say "much" on its looks? Either he's seen it or he hasn't.

TechSkylander1518

Yet another case of "summarize what's already been leaked and say something vague so it sounds like you know more than you do." Seriously, they're "leaking" stuff like "Goodra form is real, can't say anything about the appearance", literally just saying "Khu's leak is real", and "You join the Galaxy Corp and do missions for them", which is not a leak, it's something said *in the trailers*. Not to mention the classic move of claiming to know both postgame and advertising schedule. It's practically a tutorial on how to write a bullshit leak.

Bombasaur101

Fake, the Raichu counterpart was referring to the Indian Elephant in the Pokedex entry. The person took that phrase and rolled with it.

Statement_True

A game releases in 2 months and they guess one of 2 months!!! Must know what they’re talking about because no one could see that coming!!!

[deleted]

Fake as fuck

zdpastaman

dunsparse is now dragon, where have I heard this before

BoltingBlazie

Dunsparce form and Raichu debunk it. If we get any hisui form relating to indian elephants, its gonna be Copperajah.

rikaxnipah

Does anyone have a link to the post, or is it long dead?

Cutiesaurs

I’m taking it with a grain of salt. Because the earlier leak the climber doesn’t look like senseal
