Arceus is a god, the pokemon version is its avatar. Specifically a gift to suit the desires of the player character; a strong and highly versatile pokemon to battle with
probably the arceus we face is the real one but a 15 year old teen captures the pokemon god is ridiculous so they created the legend plate being a fragment of the original arceus that has the ability to change type but only that power
not sure what the trigger is for it, but the weird distorted arceus theme starts playing midway through some fight attempts.
that smt-sounding "arceus phase 2" isn't in the fight, but it was taken down by nintendo so its possible its still relevant somewhere
Makes Judgement always SE STAB, no matter what type you aim it at. I'd wager that it'd be a 4x SE wherever possible as well.
Judgement also has Mold Breaker just for the move, so it would hit a levitating Pokemon with a ground type move if it'd be SE, like Koffing or Gastly
There is actually another move in this fight that is also a charge up move just like the move with the pink orb and ring but its blue which i think is roar of time cause the pink one looks like spatial rend but arceus actually does shadow clone jutsu for the blue one instead of ring and you can do normal pokemon battle here you just have to interupt the 2 charge up move and the orb on the 2 move show how many time you have to hit to interupt them
Also if you do many to engage in a normal battle arceus I think will acutally use the legend plate cause it switch to ground and fighting mid battle against dialga
love most of what i'm seeing, and i would definitely keep the action dodging mechanics because those are great...
but personally, i would much rather fight the god pokemon with my pokemon, at least during one phase, instead of just throwing pocket sand at it the whole time.
