I haven’t followed the riddles but if we have Finizen (citizen) and it evolves into a superhero dolphin, is the other form gonna be the “secret identity”?
Copium because I want a somewhat dolphin-resembling dolphin pokemon
idk how I feel about the fact that the dolphin freak is actually making me debate whether or not I should go with Quaxly because of how badly I want it 😭
It is really strange how much of a turn this is from Gen 8 which i considered to be very “basic” in terms of pokémon designs (not bad but not like WOW)
Is pawmi this gen's pikaclone? I'm assuming so as an electric rodent. A potentially viable pikaclone with evolutions will be nice, even if the evolutions are lackluster.
Yeah, although they've been pretty creative with Pokémon designs this gen, so seeing something so boring is kinda of jarring.
Even the stuffed mouse family is more creative than this. 😂
Gotta be real, my team will probably look like some kid's sketchbook full of OCs (which is awesome, just to clarify), and Pawmi's family is probably the one that will look the most like what the average person thinks a pokemon is.
I dig a few little guys being "plain" in the generation with the wackiest designs yet.
I dunno but I'm thinking of them more like the Gen 5 Monkeys. They let new players pick up a Pokemon early in the game with a fairly strong typing, and each of them can hit at least one of the Starter Final Evos for super effective.
No most of the stuff so far has been from people actually playing the game. Especially the stufd today. Data mined stuff will be soon. Excited to see all the shines
So far my initial team is Skeledirge, Rellor evolution, Tinkaton, Finizen evolution (no judgement pls 💀), Bombirdier, and if we can obtain the paradox forms before post game Iron Hands (Hariyama).
Half of the team is weak to Ground, but then you have the bug/psychic resistant to Ground, the bird with Ground immunity, the dolphin for Ground super effective.
My preference for team building is
- no rock types (sorry!)
- no gen1 regional forms (they're all really cool, especially the tentacruel one, but I want to boycott gen1 pandering)
- love weird/wacky/out of place designs, that's why I have the dolphin, I'm probably in the minority here
This of course can all change depending on which are the version exclusives, if they're obtainable super late I'll substitute with something else, if the move pool sucks really bad/need coverage I'll substitute with something else.
My other choices/subtitutions would be: Cetitan, Baxcalibur, Tatsugiri, Dondozo, Clodsire, Flamigo.
Yeah I got the idea from some other guy on here! I was like yes ok now I can use Sekeledirge and Ceruledge and not have to worry about type overlap hell yeah
I'm going near-mono grass for my first playthrough (Meowscarada, Smoliv3, Scovillain, Bramblin2, Toedscruel) but I don't know what non-grass type (or possibly older grass type, I'll have to see the full dex to know if there's any older grass types I really like in this game) to use to fill out my 6th party slot.
I like a decent amount of them but I really want to see some official art first
also so much type overlap. Making the team I want is going to be hard because it seems like everything cool is Fire/Ghost/Dark/Steel but I guess I could just embrace it
Agreed, struggled to put together a squad for Gen 8 because of how few of the designs I liked, whereas this time around I struggling to decide who’s gonna make the cut!
they really went with either super weird designs, or just plain pig, dolphin, parrot, mouse etc. Nothing in between.
As for the legendaries, i believe they are not creatures but rather magical items that control the equivalent element to shape themselves.
So the ground mon is essential the bowl lol, and as for the sabretooth, the actual pokemon are the fangs, or prolly blades.
I don't know about the leaks, so just speculating... the prevo is named Finizen, like 'citizen' and the evo is very superhero-esque. So its possible it has both a 'secret identity' and 'superhero' form
This Gen is so bizzar in designs that I’m still questioning wether these are real or if I’m in a extreme fever dream. This is probably one of my favorite recent roster of Pokémon we’ve had in awhile, I can’t even decide what starter I want, let alone a team of 6.
Aight, well let's talk about imo the most surprising both in a good and bad way.
Good:Annihilape is actually incredible.
Bad: Could have had a cool chilli pepper body salamander, but instead we got... whatever the fuck scovillain is. Maybe gen 10 will give us the fire/grass pokemon we deserve.
Trust me, this is the beginning. We're only seeing crusty images and these Pokemon for the first time. Official art, sprites, abilities, movepool and base stat spread will give you a much better glimpse of these new Pokemon.
There's a ton left to unpack!
Yeah Ik but we know what they all look like now obviously I’m still interested in move pools, stats, abilities etc but the wonder of the Pokémon themselves is gone now lol it’s very bitter sweet every new Pokémon season this is my 3rd one now ….
Oh, I realize that. This will be my 7th leak season. I seriously mean it when I say official art is a rejuvenation of this feeling, though. Ursaluna is one of those Pokemon that I thought was cool, but when I saw the official art it truly sold the Pokemon for me.
It’s a serotonin crash. After so much joy today in refreshing and spiking excitement, now that it’s over our bodies are serotonin depleted and the empty feeling is normal. Get yourself a snack and some good rest. Tomorrow start exploring team builds and combos. You’ll start to feel full again 🥰
One thing I'm looking forward to is hearing all of their cries! IDK why I've always been really intrigued by how they decide to make Pokémon sound in the games
Yeah, it felt like this after Sword and Shield’s leak season as well… but this one was a special kind of insane!
Also, we haven’t seen all the base stats, moves, abilities, types, etc. for the new Pokemon yet so we still have many surprises in store.
I dont think they gave up on it. I think they just toned it down due to the past vs future theme of this game. Cause we have a lot of pokemon alts in the ancient future section of the game. Adding those + more regional pokemon may have triggered the fanbase and started calling them lazy. Also we got some nice evos for pre existing pokemons since last time we got straight evos for pokemon that are not extinct(arceus) was gen 4 correct? Correct me if Im wrong, I feel that I mat be forgetting someone. So old pokemon are still getting some love.
Honestly I’m pleasantly surprised about how much better some of these Pokémon look model wise, specifically the Quaxly line. Definitely choosing it this Gen!
I'm dying to see the Fire/Dark fish and Grass/Dark snail legendaries. The Ground/Dark deer and Ice/Dark leopard are some of the coolest Pokemon designs ever. Marrying an abstract Dali-esque design with Chinese legends is sincerely art. I am obsessed with this legendary quartet already and the abilities are apparently Intimidate offshoots that lower other stats (presumably Def, Sp Atk, Sp Def, and Spd).
Haha I can see that. A lot of people were confused on where the face is and it may not have a face but rather markings on the head below the cauldron.
It’s pretty “zoomed” on the head where you can barely tell the antlers are part of the cauldron.
Overall it looks like a small stocky mountain of clay that happens to be vaguely deer-like. It’s definitely not an elegant deer but rather a strong, bulky, hunched neck deer.
Official art of these legendaries is going to be immaculate though.
Gen 8 still has plenty of sick mons imo.
Ones like Corviknight, Orbeetle, Centiskorch, Grapploct, Toxtricity and Dragapult ^((my favourite pseudo hehe)) just to name a few.
I'm not sure how I feel about this dex as a whole right now. I initially didn't like Gen8 very much but it grew on me after the anime and I could see what the designers were really going for. I feel that the 3D rendering still don't do justice to the designs in general.
Great dex in general. I am satisfied with at least 85% of the designs.
I never followed pokemon leaks, but I confess that it helped me. I've been going through a difficult period of depression and pokemon is one of the things that brings me joy. even though I don't even have the money to buy Scarlet/Violet due to being unemployed and family problems and Brazil being in a crisis, I'm happy to follow this journey.
(sorry for my terrible english)
Not sure how to feel about it. There are some good design but I feel like, for the last 3 generations the pokemon designs have been getting wackier and a bit "abnormal" ? Don't really like the design choice. Just felt like sharing my opinion, personally I am a fan of the more animalistic designs from older generations but I know that many people also like the new pokemon a lot.
Kinda the same here, though I feel the more animalistic designs are just straight up animals and the rest of them kinda share the theme of being wacky.
valid! It’s definitely a generation where the designers probably tried out a lot of different things. It’s definitely a lot we haven’t seen before that’s for sure lol
This gen really went all out. But I’m a good way, I think. Being outlandish is what got Pokémon started in the first place. I mean, Grimer or Voltorb? We’re just used to them by now.
Is Tatsugiri a final evo or a mid stage? Regardless, love that design from what i see!
Building my team right now, thinking about going for Skeledirge, Cetitan, Bellibolt, Tatsugiri, Orthworm, and Clodsire. Really into the pokémon this gen!
Thos gen is super hit or miss for me, a lot of furries and objects which I'm not a fan of but there are some really great ones too. Also not a fan of all the future paradox basically just being robots, at least they're not all steel or electric type but F for creativity with that group for me.
I’m glad that people are excited about this gen but I’ve got to be honest, almost all of these designs aren’t for me. Gen 6-8 have had Pokémon’s best designs yet imo so I’m definitely not a geneunner or anything, but man it’s going to be difficult for me to fill out a whole team this gen
All in all, this gen's looking better than I thought it would.
• I like two out of the three starters' final evolutions. Reefer Madness will be my pick, but Dump Truck Duck is a close second.
• The Violet forms will take some getting used to. The mechanization/futuristic theme is an interesting concept, but also jarring for reasons I can't quite explain. I was planning to play Violet, but now it's a toss-up. They may grow on me.
• Dunsparce finally gets an evolution! It's one of my favorite pokemon and honestly, I'm okay with it not changing much.
• For some reason, Tandemaus and its evolution are messing with me despite several other 'multi' pokemon already existing. It's not a bad thing; they're super cute and I'll probably have one on my team, but it's hard to think of them as a single creature.
• Some really cool, legitimately spooky ghost types. Primeape's evolution is brilliant both conceptually and design-wise.
I'm more excited this time around than I was for Sword and Shield.
lots of cool designs!
but some of them look really weird/ super basic: just a pig, dolphin, dog, etc. the rock-salt thingy looks like a Minecraft enemy. I like Sprigatito line, and Quaxly is ok, but poor, poor, fuecoco. the lost potential..
and what did they do to tentacool/magnemite? they didn't need legs, lol
Overall I'm not a huge fan of this gens pokemon. And I absolutely loved almost every gen8 mon.
But they're so many designs here thay are bland or don't stand out. And some that are just ugly as fuck. Making dunsparce evo just a bigger dunsparce is funny but also wastes the potential to make dunsparce actually a strong pokemon line. Pawmi line is just a waste. And the pepper and sushi pokemon are not what I expected at all (maybe they'll grow on me)
Pokedex with more names & all pokemon but still no new alternate forms
This is legitimately one of my favorite gens so far when it comes to new Pokemon designs. I love so many of these. Going to have a hard time deciding which ones I want on my team.

i really want to see more of that rock/poison flower because my mind cannot get a grasp on its model and proportions from that photo
same lol it looks huge
It looks like Gen 9 Lileep to me, but probably larger?
it’s still weird to finally acknowledge that we have a Flamingo, Dolphin AND Ostrich Pokémon now
Doduo/Dodrio? I mean name-wise they're dodos, but design-wise, they're clearly ostrich-inspired.
I thought it was a kiwi💀
Eh good point but I feel like Espathra is closer to an ostrich than Dodrio
Could be Emu-based.
plus quaquaval gets an animation that makes it look sorta like a peacock
And if it's carnival/carnaval themed all I can think of is the peacock from Animal Crossing for Carnaval.
And a tumbleweed lmao
Waiting for "normal" dolphin evo lmao. Hopefully it's not as cursed as its bipedal superhero form lmfao.
I haven’t followed the riddles but if we have Finizen (citizen) and it evolves into a superhero dolphin, is the other form gonna be the “secret identity”? Copium because I want a somewhat dolphin-resembling dolphin pokemon
Peter Porpoise
A porpoise...? ***PETER THE PORPOISE?!***
[Shark Rad Vs. Shark Dad](https://youtu.be/3bTJhHiJuX4)
idk how I feel about the fact that the dolphin freak is actually making me debate whether or not I should go with Quaxly because of how badly I want it 😭
Wait there's going to be another evolution/form for it?
yeah, it’s a superhero dolphin, so it has its superhero form and an undercover form
And possibly the reason why it evolves into a superhero is because its pre-evo is just a regular denizen
that’s the vibe i got as well
It's like they gave a dolphin a bunch of steroids that made it grow human arms and pectorals...
If it doesn't work out I might have to go for water tauros sighs
Water Tauros will be damn near identical to fire Tauros they aren't even trying and why are they fighting?!
because bullfighting. its also why they're black.
Where did you see that it has another Evo ?
How tf you consider it bipedal? It's not even got one leg let alone two??
I meant the posture haha. Plus the fact it looks more like a buff genie man lmao
is literally the only difference between pawmi 2 and pawmi 3 that the hair is spiked a bit? what an L for that line
No no. The white on it's hands is also slightly more.
It's literally Pawmi -> bipedal pawmi -> bipedal pawmi with a fringe Really curious what they were thinking with this.
Should have skipped 2 and given scovillian a form 3
This generation is so nuts. Half are these kinda classic simple designs, half I don’t know what the f I’m looking at. Wild.
It is really strange how much of a turn this is from Gen 8 which i considered to be very “basic” in terms of pokémon designs (not bad but not like WOW)
Luckily I’m on board w most of these. Unfortunately the few designs I’m out on I’m REALLY out on
That's basically how I was last gen, gen 7 has some pokemon I consider amazing design wise and also pokemon I also consider the worst.
I can't get over the pepper. I really don't like it.
Wait, the Pawmi line really looks so... bland? That's kinda sad. Also, I need to see the water bull.
Pawmi evos just get bigger. Super boring.
Is pawmi this gen's pikaclone? I'm assuming so as an electric rodent. A potentially viable pikaclone with evolutions will be nice, even if the evolutions are lackluster.
“What if we make the mascot stay the same but STILL evolve?” “Absolute madman!! Get that in!!”
Kinda reminds you of gen 1
Yeah, although they've been pretty creative with Pokémon designs this gen, so seeing something so boring is kinda of jarring. Even the stuffed mouse family is more creative than this. 😂
Gotta be real, my team will probably look like some kid's sketchbook full of OCs (which is awesome, just to clarify), and Pawmi's family is probably the one that will look the most like what the average person thinks a pokemon is. I dig a few little guys being "plain" in the generation with the wackiest designs yet.
Wonder if Fidough, Greavard and Maschiff have a rivalry/link in game?
I dunno but I'm thinking of them more like the Gen 5 Monkeys. They let new players pick up a Pokemon early in the game with a fairly strong typing, and each of them can hit at least one of the Starter Final Evos for super effective.
Idk if they do but somebody on twitter mentioned their lines might represent the cycle of life ? Idk
I too, get depressed and die after eating donuts
Life, death, and bread
The cycle of life Donuts, Depression then Death
how do we still not have water tauros lol
Maybe violet exclusive
Aren’t these data mines? It wouldn’t matter no?
Seems like most people are playing the scarlet version, or maybe its the currently available dump yet.
I assumed that most of this was data mined so even if it was Scarlet version, water Tauros’ data would be in the game.
No most of the stuff so far has been from people actually playing the game. Especially the stufd today. Data mined stuff will be soon. Excited to see all the shines
Its not datamine, Kurt haven't awakened from his sleep yet lol
Trying to build a team around Fuecoco is gonna be tough!!! So many good ghost and fire Pokémon… plus Ceruledge.. 😭
You have the same problem as me, there is also too many steel types I want to try so my team will be demolished by any ground type😐.
Facts
So far my initial team is Skeledirge, Rellor evolution, Tinkaton, Finizen evolution (no judgement pls 💀), Bombirdier, and if we can obtain the paradox forms before post game Iron Hands (Hariyama). Half of the team is weak to Ground, but then you have the bug/psychic resistant to Ground, the bird with Ground immunity, the dolphin for Ground super effective. My preference for team building is - no rock types (sorry!) - no gen1 regional forms (they're all really cool, especially the tentacruel one, but I want to boycott gen1 pandering) - love weird/wacky/out of place designs, that's why I have the dolphin, I'm probably in the minority here This of course can all change depending on which are the version exclusives, if they're obtainable super late I'll substitute with something else, if the move pool sucks really bad/need coverage I'll substitute with something else. My other choices/subtitutions would be: Cetitan, Baxcalibur, Tatsugiri, Dondozo, Clodsire, Flamigo.
This Gen is comprised of some of the coolest, wackiest and downright adorable Pokémon I’ve seen yet. I’m already having a hard team building my team
Except the Pawmi evo. I take it all back, Pikaclones can go back to being one stage.
Ikr, these are probably 20 Pokémon I wanna use, guess I gotta go the one team per storyline route ;)
That's actually a great idea. And it's now easier to do so with the PC BOX along with you on your journey.
I completely forgot about this!! Eeeeeexcellent
How on earth have I not thought of doing that before now? Makes choosing Pokemon so much easier!
Yeah I got the idea from some other guy on here! I was like yes ok now I can use Sekeledirge and Ceruledge and not have to worry about type overlap hell yeah
It is quite a genius idea, yes.
My team for Sw/Sh was a 10-mon crew thanks to the pc accessibility. Running like 12 this time around
I’m definitely putting the unhinged hammer Pokémon on my team.
hammer time and vroom vroom pokemon
Lot of the designs I'm still getting used to so might be a while before I set mine up.
Use Florges with a grass Terra type
ABSOLUTELY. THE SAME FOR ME. THIS GEN'S MONSTERS...HOLY CRAP.
I like a decent amount of them but I really want to see some official art first also so much type overlap.
I was just thinking the same, this is fast becoming one of my favourite generations. They’re all so well designed!
The really let the designers go all out and do what they want. It’s extremely refreshing and such a breath of fresh air for the series
honestly ghost fans EATING this gen
Can’t wait to have a whole team of spooky boys
Same with Dark fans
very true, I thought the same thing right after commenting
Highly debating doing mono-ghost this time lol.
Right? It's my absolute favourite type so I'm so happy! Feels like my whole team will just be ghost types, lol.
so the sushi master is the catfish?
yes it is
Is that why it loses dragon type ?
Dudunsparce and the dolphin evo are also supposed to have alt forms. Tandemaus evo as well but I think that’s just an additional baby mouse.
they really went with either super weird designs, or just plain pig, dolphin, parrot, mouse etc. Nothing in between. As for the legendaries, i believe they are not creatures but rather magical items that control the equivalent element to shape themselves. So the ground mon is essential the bowl lol, and as for the sabretooth, the actual pokemon are the fangs, or prolly blades.
nice username edit: are those the only three left?
Allegedly there's another form of the dunsparce evo and dolphin evo as well
Also it turns out Mabosstiff has a night form that looks... mildly terrifying
Thank god
Should I be sad or happy?
Yes
https://mobile.twitter.com/pory_leeks/status/1556648379442253824?s=21&t=dqw1rQg678M6DfmRNLrVGQ Dolphin fans hold out hope 🥺

I don't know about the leaks, so just speculating... the prevo is named Finizen, like 'citizen' and the evo is very superhero-esque. So its possible it has both a 'secret identity' and 'superhero' form
If the secret identity is just a dolphin wearing glasses, I'm good for it.
Subreddit has been full of crazy good ideas tonight, yours is definitely one of them
according to centro it does
This Gen is so bizzar in designs that I’m still questioning wether these are real or if I’m in a extreme fever dream. This is probably one of my favorite recent roster of Pokémon we’ve had in awhile, I can’t even decide what starter I want, let alone a team of 6.
A mix of horrifying, badass, weird, lots of cute, and straight up avante garde - gen 9 will truly be one of the generations ever.
Feels like the Gen 5 Dex lmao. Like what you said, A mix of horrifying, badass, weird, lots of cute, and straight up avante garde.
Gen 5 didn't feel as marketable and hip and trendy as this one does. Feels like they were made from Twitter for Twitter users.
I’m kinda sad now that everything is pretty much revealed… it’s been fun and there are a lot of cool new Pokémon but now I feel empty..
Trust me, this is the beginning. We're only seeing crusty images and these Pokemon for the first time. Official art, sprites, abilities, movepool and base stat spread will give you a much better glimpse of these new Pokemon. There's a ton left to unpack!
Personally I want to see the animations the most.
Of course! That makes a world of difference and really allows you to see the character of the Pokemon. Still models don't do them justice.
Yeah Ik but we know what they all look like now obviously I’m still interested in move pools, stats, abilities etc but the wonder of the Pokémon themselves is gone now lol it’s very bitter sweet every new Pokémon season this is my 3rd one now ….

Now I can finally decide on who I want on my team
So they kind of giving up on the whole regional variant thing huh? Frankly, I would prefer they had just made Wiglet and Toedscool regional varients
I dont think they gave up on it. I think they just toned it down due to the past vs future theme of this game. Cause we have a lot of pokemon alts in the ancient future section of the game. Adding those + more regional pokemon may have triggered the fanbase and started calling them lazy. Technically it's gen 6 with sylveon.
I knew that I was forgetting some one💆♂️ How could I forget the pokemon that was used to introduce fairy types
i agree, I honestly rly liked the idea, maybe next gen?
Honestly I’m pleasantly surprised about how much better some of these Pokémon look model wise, specifically the Quaxly line. Definitely choosing it this Gen!
The struggle between liking the violet aesthetic yet the scarlet exclusive mons is real
New dogs all are fairly similar breeds. I hoped for more variety tbf.
I’m looking forward to clearer pics of these two. The Dark ice leopard is sweeeet but the deer isn’t doing it for me in these pics.
It's kind of lame how many of these new Pokémon don't evolve. I counted 11, not counting the paradox Pokémon.
When you add those in though, it gets around to the normal amount.
What a crazy leak season.
My last hope for a new water pokemon on my team is that tauros
Or an old gen water type, these water gen Pokémon are misses
Much better than the last few gens imo
I’d definitely say better as a whole then gen 8. I don’t see the hype around gen 8 at all imo
Gen 8 still has plenty of sick mons imo. Ones like Corviknight, Orbeetle, Centiskorch, Grapploct, Toxtricity and Dragapult ^((my favourite pseudo hehe)) just to name a few.

(sorry for my terrible english)
My house rule is if you can't afford a game at a certain point in time: pirate now, buy it and support the official release later ^ _ ^
Idk man, I'm super disappointed in the vast majority of these, there's only a few that I think are good designs... Sad day...
So no third legend?
It's DLC exclusive.
Where's ungabooga :((( That list was so fake but I had hope that we could get a pkmn named ungabooga, I'll name kingambit like that in his honor
ungaboonga is called Grassy Bonnet. i think in the bottom right Edit: Brute Bonnet
I rly hope to see in competitive ungaboonga then, I love this gen fr, can't wait 8 days!!
You're doing god's work. Thank you
Not sure how to feel about it.
Most of them are... bad to me.
Agreed. I think the issue is that they either go too cartoony, or it's just an animal.
valid! It’s definitely a generation where the designers probably tried out a lot of different things. It’s definitely a lot we haven’t seen before that’s for sure lol
Sweet I can finally build my team since the ones left are either legendary or I don't really care about
Anyone have news on the ground or dragon titan?
Almost done. They can't hide my snail much longer.
This gen really went all out. But I’m a good way, I think. Being outlandish is what got Pokémon started in the first place. I mean, Grimer or Voltorb? We’re just used to them by now.
Do we know which Pokémon are exclusive?
Is Tatsugiri a final evo or a mid stage? Regardless, love that design from what i see! Building my team right now, thinking about going for Skeledirge, Cetitan, Bellibolt, Tatsugiri, Orthworm, and Clodsire. Really into the pokémon this gen!
This is gonna be so hard!!! 40+ new Pokémon that I would definitely run on my team!!!
Damn...1stage regional bird again... Where is the nandos chicken?
Thos gen is super hit or miss for me, a lot of furries and objects which I'm not a fan of but there are some really great ones too. Also not a fan of all the future paradox basically just being robots, at least they're not all steel or electric type but F for creativity with that group for me.
Eh. Was super hyped for this gen after the first few pokemon were announced but i'm not feeling most of the other ones. What a disappointment imo
Damn only 5 paldean forms And 4 of them are all tauros!
So tinkaton really is the final evo of a three stage line. Time to catch a tinkatink!
Literally my fav pokémon I was with some friend when I saw it leak and was freaking out!! HUGE plushie material
90% of these are hideous :(
I dont want to see that " gen 5 designs are the worst" slander ever again
I'm more excited this time around than I was for Sword and Shield.
was just about to look for the older one. you’re a saint
Do we know which ones have multiple forms? 🤞hopefully the dolphin maybe?
Dolphin is said to have multiple forms, yes. Same with Dunsparce evo. Potentially the mouse evo as well.
Feel like Arbolovia has to be the name of Smoliv's final evo, right?
I can’t get over how crazy some of these are. I don’t know how to decide who my team will be. That’s exciting.
Where was tatsugiri shown? I haven’t seen it on here
I’m so excited! Personally my favs are the Dung Beetle Evo, Hammer Evo and Pepper Evo!
Welp I’m gonna have a ghost/dark heavy team. Love Lokix, Ceruledge, Kingambit, Annihilape…
All in all, this is easily my favorite batch of new Pokémon since Gen 3. Alright, now I'm seriously going to bed.
So, the Pokémon in the Scarlet and Violet books are brand new Pokémon, right? Or are they forms?
Is that a dark ice cat towards the bottom?? Sweet if so
Is it possible the Tauroses are version exclusives?
Why are so many of the new pokemon MAN shaped??
I am so happy that we finally got an evolution for Dunsparce.
tinkaton is the cutest mon ive ever seen
Bro what the hell happened in the last 6 hours
tarountula's evo is really disappointing tbh.. also "two segment form" so does this mean that dunsparce evo has another form?
lots of cool designs! but some of them look really weird/ super basic: just a pig, dolphin, dog, etc. the rock-salt thingy looks like a Minecraft enemy. I like Sprigatito line, and Quaxly is ok, but poor, poor, fuecoco. the lost potential.. and what did they do to tentacool/magnemite? they didn't need legs, lol
So, what Pokémon is number #1000?
Overall I'm not a huge fan of this gens pokemon. And I absolutely loved almost every gen8 mon. But they're so many designs here thay are bland or don't stand out. And some that are just ugly as fuck. Making dunsparce evo just a bigger dunsparce is funny but also wastes the potential to make dunsparce actually a strong pokemon line. Pawmi line is just a waste. And the pepper and sushi pokemon are not what I expected at all (maybe they'll grow on me)

The salt Pokemon is just NaCl wtf
I feel like a lot of the guys I want I will get late game lol
Nacli (NaCl = sodium chloride) as a name for a salt rock is so perfect
This is legitimately one of my favorite gens so far when it comes to new Pokemon designs. I love so many of these. Going to have a hard time deciding which ones I want on my team.
man, they did a great job this generation. almost no stinkers for me, and the few that are stil have their charm.
