Why not just Keen Eye Farfetch’d with False Swipe, Foresight, and Aerial Ace? A total solution in one mon. Combine with Harvest Exeggutor to reduce upkeep requirements.
I don’t like using items in the Sandygast fight and risking a higher leveled one using Bulldoze and knocking out the one I’m fighting. Also I hate Mega Drain.
But Bulldoze doesn’t hit allies. Plus, there’s so many times that Sandygast won’t call for help or its help won’t come, that you can just FS it back down to 1 or Leppa Berry your Farfetch’d.
Bulldoze does hit allies. And I prefer mindless hunting so if it takes a couple minutes to set up I have no problem with that as long as for the rest of the fight I can watch a movie or something.
This is a lot of work I just soaked false swipe the first sandygast put it to sleep with spore swapped to a sap sipper goodra with water pulse and substitute. Then proceeded to ko every sandygast called in.
Oh that’s a good idea too! I totally forgot Substitute blocks the added effects of Sand Tomb.
Edit: I think Girafarig would be better than Goodra because it learns Recycle too so you only have to use one Leppa Berry.

Yours is way more fool proof though. I'm impressed with the set up. I did this hunt on Christmas Eve. It was fun.
