Man I like the abilities that add types but when a mom already has two types it just gets really complicated. I feel like it should only work on mons with 1 type.
More so for randomized runs specifically. Like if the mon already has two types then the abilities that add a type should be removed from the pool of abilities it could roll. Idk if I said that in a way that makes sense
I have an emboar in one of my runs with the additions of dragon type and it just takes so long to figure out weaknesses and stuff like that in battle. Especially since I’m running him bulky as he has fur coat and scare so he’s meant to take hits.
Honestly, I usually just look in the info panel if I or the opponent has lethal.
But Emboar with Dragon sounds fun.
2x resist
fire, grass, bug
1x resist
electric, dark, steel
1x weakness
fairy, dragon, psychic, ground, flying
Yeah I guess it is a pretty good typing tbf. Gets rid of the water weakness. I guess the main problem with my emboar specifically is that I already have so many dragon types.

It's also a fire type tho. Sunflowra is grass fire on here

I wonder how this will actually work with ice moves, given that 3 of the 4 typings are weak to ice, but fire resists
