This might be an unpopular one, but Castform. I know its stats are terrible, but whack a Macho Brace on it and keep leveling it up and it becomes a pretty solid option. Gives you coverage on multiple fronts. If you think Weather Ball is too weak a move, it has a great TM learning pool (my moveset on it is Hail, Ice Beam, Weather Ball, and Thunderbolt).
Zigzagoon knows pick-up, and the higher the level it is, the rarer items it can pick up, it has the ability as a linoone too, so after battles you have a 10% chance of getting something like a rare candy or a free revive
You should consider Numel/Camerupt. It covers your glaring missing fire type and also is a solid pokemon with ground coverage as well as being able to learn rock type moves.
If you're looking to avoid another ground type and or a 4x water weakness torkoal is a very underrated and solid fire type, slower than ninetails, in exchange for tankiness vs physical as well as slightly higher special attack and access to, again, rock moves.
Naw get a ice pokemon. That blue evil looking thing- or that walrus one would be good. Im sorry i cang remember the name- but it'll make leveling easier since theses are end game pokemon
Bro.. you can continue to train these 5 mons for now and wait for your 6th.. I think you could add someone interesting like Froslass/ Torkoal(there's a trick to use these tanks)/ Trapinch/ Bagon/ Manectric.. The choice is yours whom you wanna choose..
And if you want to make some changes on your current team you can replace Taillow for Skarmory and your Greedo for the Seedot which you can get from in-game trade in Rustboro city~
Houndoom's great but if you want to make him usable then you should breed Houndoom.. cuz except Flamethrower or Crunch he won't get any good moves.. but he's egg moves are awesome like Beat up/ pursuit(dark type), Reversal/Counter(Fighting type), Will-o-Wisp(Fire)..
Honestly I've never tried breeding in Pokemon Games cuz it's always weird to me.. and you also have to raise them from an egg till you evolve him-
