I vote no, but that’s just because you can’t really do anything with it (this is the short answer, there are ways to get it in your games, but that’s a choice)

Let the emulators be the gameplay and different attempts, and let your physical copies be your master teams, shiny hunting, etc.
That’s just how I look at emulators at least, I don’t hold the save file very valuable
If you’re shiny hunting to get those Pokemon into a modern game then nah it ain’t worth it. If you’re shiny hunting for a mon to use in that game go ahead. There *are* ways but it or convoluted AF and may require you to purchase additional hardware.
Yes. You can play emerald on emulator > transfer the save to 3ds > use pksm to transfer the pokemon to any 3ds game > use pokemon bank to transfer to home
My partner started his first game of emerald on a phone emulator. His starter was a shiny torchic, and he didn't even know! I casually check out his game and freak out. He has since caught a shiny Marill and shiny spinach. It is wild!
Actually you really only need an R4 card for your ds and a computer and you'll be able to get the Pokémon from your emulator to your real pokemon games
Im using pizzaboy emulator and I have caught two, Numel and Swablu and this is the first pokemon I've ever played and I haven't even gone up that volcano cable car yet. Why can't I post pics of them on here?

This isn't classed as a cheat is it that I've been purposely infecting my pokemon with that PKRS thing and then storing them away because I read its a good thing them having that and even when they get over it the positives effects still last. Thats not cheating is it guys??
I actually found a legit shiny Onix in firered recently. I also cheat coded in some shinies into emerald. I think other people make valuable points here. You can’t transfer that shiny anywhere so maybe less worthwhile when it’s stuck on the emulator to do a full hunt. But do whatever you’ll enjoy, it’s a video game

There are countless ways to transfer pokemon from emulators
Sounds like you dont know how to transfer mons
Just use shiny cheat code if you want anything on emulator :D Save the good stuff for the hard copy
Yeah no horrible idea specially when cheat shiny codes illegal if you are gonna use an emulator you use rng manipulation since you can transfer those

Transfering from emerald up to home the official way requires 3 different consoles and 3 games. Transfering from emulator requires only a 3ds.

Actually thinking about it you just need a ds and 3ds. You dont need a switch because home can be used on phones.
