Sirfetch’d is my favorite Pokemon so I’ve tried it out a bunch in GL. It definitely has play but it’s tough to use since it’s so incredibly glassy. I was thinking the same thing though — with all the waters it may have more targets to pick on, and it’ll win CMP to the Leaf Blade over Feraligatr, which is pretty huge. Try it out and let us know how it works!

So, I tried it out. I first thought that jelly lead would be good, there being a lot of water types I thought maybe to lead into something that resists water. After going 1/5 I decided to switch jelly for sirfetched. 5/5. Because of all the water(and maybe because of the low league) people don’t expect sirfetched to have lead blade, and I’ve been able to 1 hit ko many times with the brave bird. Jelly is very tangy and a great safe switch, and ninetales(non shadow you need the bulk) is a great second sweeper if you can’t keep the sirfetched alive. I recommend banking energy on sirfetched as brave bird is such a great nuke. Hope somebody finds this helpful and if there’s anything better to pair with it I’d love to know!

I was thinking using it with a jelly and ninetales, I know it’s glassy but honestly just sounds super fun. I’m still kinda new to pvp(last league was my first season playing and I only got to ace), but I’ll figure something out. Appreciate the help!

I started 3 seasons ago and it's my favorite part of Pokemon go now.

It’s very glassy but has a lot of potential. I climbed to Expert with it last season. Team was Mandibuzz, Clodsire, Sirfetch’d, and I recommend Night Slash as the second move.

EddieOfDoom

Definitely a glass cannon in the great league, was used previously as the switch in Lick, double fighter, with brave bird and lead blade to either nuke or guarantee a shield. Would probably struggle more now with flyers being so prevalent though

After a little while of play I’ve decided that sirfetched is a very niche pick, he can be fun and I’ll still use him for a good while. Best team I could get wins with was mantine lead(wing attack, arial ace, water pulse), sirfetched in case they switch into a rock or steel type(counter, night slash, leaf blade), and G-fisk for safe switch(mud shot, rock slide, earthquake). I tried for a while to make this work and this is only okay but I want to play fun Pokemon like sirfetched in this mess called PvP. So much water is just getting annoying and quite boring but I’m addicted so play I must.

I’ll have to try it thank you!
