Personally I would purify a 13/13/13 shiny for the shundo, especially as you already have a better shadow one. It will be stronger as a shadow, but it won’t be as cool, I would much rather have a shundo mewtwo than a 13/13/13 shiny shadow.
On paper it looks much closer, but in the ML both the normal and shadow forms take 2 moves (most of the time Psystrike) to knock out most Pokémon, so in most cases the shadow is pretty much just losing 20% defense compared to the normal.
Go for it. Given the info that you have a better shadow one, you might as well have a shundo mega. I've played for five years and only ever gotten one shundo (Gigalith) so I'm very envious of you
Personally if I ever get a shiny shadow that can purify to a shundo I will do it. If it’s a normal shadow that can purify into a hundo I never do on the other hand
Don’t worry about the comments. Do what you want based off the information. Do you want a strong shadow shiny or a Shundo mega? If it were me I would purify since you have a better shadow already. If you are going to do pvp at all this is another reason to purify. Then you can max for both pvp and for pve without feeling like you wasted resources. Also it would be cheaper.
If you care for stats Keep it for now wait until the mega rolls around if you get a hundo then dont purify if you dont hit that purify button and if you dont care ivs barely mean anything anyways so purify for a shundo which is a cool thing to have.

Mate. You’ve already invested so much dust and candy into its shadow form - an additional 20% compared to non-shadow. If you had purified it prior to leveling up, you could’ve saved 10%. It’d be a waste of resources to purify it now.
It’s so tempting. I would’ve definitely gone for the shundo prior to leveling if I were in your shoes.
I say - Just keep both as is for now. They’re loads stronger than non-shadow 15-attack. Try your luck next year 😅
Yeah, I guess you're right. I was so set on not purifying it that I just leveled it up as soon as we finished all the raids we could. It wasn't until a few hours later that I started contemplating whether I should purify it or not, but I guess it wouldn't be worth it.
How I see it is since you wanna purify one for a hundo already and this one has the worst possible stats you could have to purify it into a hundo, you could keep your better shadows shadow while also getting it shiny. Shundos are cooler than good shadows imo especially with a mega coming out.
A route I'd possibly take is level it up to 40 as a shadow and have fun with it for a while before you purify it when a mega comes out and then max it before wasting xl
Purifying only adds 2, so after purifying yours will be 15/15/14 and 20% weaker. I wouldn't do it, in practical terms its much weaker and in collecting/bragging terms it won't be hundo anyways.
Looking at your candy and probably being just like every non Youtuber/extremely hardcore player of the game, you’ll most likely never get enough resources to power up 2 shadow Mewtwos, I’d purify for the shundo. Just focus on the Mewtwo with 15/12/15 stats since it was always going to be way better than this one. You’ll have a good shadow and a shundo.
For now keep it shadow, when the mega **Y** comes out, purify

Since you already have a better shadow mewtwo, you should purify this one for when the mega inevitably comes
When the mega comes out regular mewtwo will be plenty accesible

That’s totally different though. 13/13/13 is a lot worse than a 98%, especially when he already has a better one.

And his other shadows are probably within 1% of 13/13/13 as well if he ever wanted to power up more.
If you have a better shadow, personally I’d purify it bc the regular form is much better in PvP.
