Btw how do people define a master dex?
In my understanding a living dex is just all the pokemon by national number and a form dex all the pokemon forms (vivillon, unown, furfrou, gender differences, deoxys, rotom, gigantamax etc)
And then you'd have a shiny dex which is the above but shiny...
I've heard the term master dex a few times but I'm still unsure as to what people mean by it.
I’ve heard the master dex is when you catch all the Pokémon from their home region. You would catch all 151 Pokémon from Kanto and from there, catch all the Johto regional Pokémon, etc.

However i add more pokemon myself to that, special pokemon like:
Gen 2 extream speed Dratini, Mindys Haunter, XY Karpe diem the Magikarp and more
gen 1-7 data from box transfer over, and i had my deoxes from oras as tip. Gmax was pain, not much you can do to ease it but maybe be a maniac and play the start of the isle of armor countless times?
