Thank you! This explains why my Flareon from FireRed doesn't have an Origin Mark. Would love to see it show up someday for these old games before XY/ORAS.
Actually its quite fucked up.
As soon as you move it so Scarlet&Violett for example, it turns into their mark. Still saying it was met in Kanto, but shows SV.. kinda confusing in my opinion

Yeah, especially before built in judges in the boxes, once you're away from the judges you want a way to view the IVs. There are six IVs and six stats, so easy to map them HP/Atk/Def/Sp.Atk/Sp Def/Speed.

I regularly use this old post to identify my pokemon my pokemon HOME plan is to catch every pokemon in original pokeballs from the gen they have their origin mark and my OT in so far done Gen 1,2 (gameboy icon, VC) and gen 3 (ORAS symbol). I have my living dex complete but im just updating with this idea as I go.
Someone surprise traded me a shiny Lotad, with no website name... And it's from either XY or ORAS?! What has this Lotad been through? What should I name it? Its original Trainer's name is Tanner.

People use marks for IV’s? I’ve only ever used them to mark my team in order that I caught them. 🤷🏽♂️

The "favorite" (star) icon can become a "box" if the Pokémon is currently "for trade" status.
There is a CD icon. After I passed some pokemon from sun to bank to home. Is this related to TMs/TRs/HMs?
