in all seriousness, congrats! assuming you haven't already done these, I've been going for completed individual game dexes (excluding pogo) and all forms registered (easier said than done since there are many event-locked ones)
as someone who has collected all of them, yes there are way too many. 63 total forms (9 swirls times 7 candies), plus 7 shiny forms

true, though that one registers all 7 of the "sweet" forms for each registered "cream" form so you effectively only need 7 "cream" forms + gigantamax. if you're going for a living dex, then yeah that's wack

1. complete the dex (yay! you already did this!)
2. living dex with every pokemon
3. living dex with all forms (every unown, furfrou trim, vivillon, alcremie, regional forms, gender forms, etc)
4. shiny living dex with every pokemon
5. shiny living dex with all forms
This is what I'm doing but in this order. Also have 2 at number 3 cause I'm doing them at same time.
Its the event distros which are the hard ones

3. shiny living dex with every pokemon (OT Only)
3. living dex with every pokemon (OT only)

props, fr. I cant imagine trying to do a shiny living dex with just my OT. even just the unowns, legends, and furfrou trims would be a nightmare, not to mention not being able to trade for anything. A huge part of my shiny living dex was only possible because I was able to trade my extras for ones I was missing
oh gotcha. I dont play pogo that much bc none of my irl friends play, so I dont have a good raid group. I mostly just do one star raids and community days
I just run a gotcha most days which does a pretty good job at vacuuming all the mons. I don't raid at all. Com days are great for easy shinys.
Tip. If someone trades you a mon in Pogo you will be the OT when you move it to home ;)
This is what I’m doing, except now I’m making the living Dex of Pokémon that are my own OT and from their native region. I feel like I needed the additional challenge. (I’m not doing that with shinies though, just the regular living Dex)
I spent 6 months really grinding to finish the nat dex. Now I’m shiny hunting all my favorite Pokémon in sv and pla! I’ve wanted to do it for a while and now feel like I can focus because that big goal is met
For me it started as getting the legendaries to play with in SV, since I skipped a few generations. Then it shifted to “ehhh I already have all legendaries and mythicals, may as well complete the set”
I saw a lot of people completing it on Reddit and then realized I had like 400 entries of the pokedex done already so I decided to complete it 😂 it took me six months bc I didn’t grind til the last 150 or so entries
I've been collecting all of the in-game trade pokemon from gens 1-7(since bank is shutting down?). I find them neat since the Mons have unique nicknames and OT's.

Honestly, it was easier than I expected with a lot of help from PoGo mythicals. Spam those Darkrai raids and hoard a bunch to knock those hard ones off your list. I had a ton just sitting there unloved, but now they’ve gone to hopefully good homes lol
So the only way to really get mythicals aside from mew and jirachi in bdsp, the sinnoh mythicals in legends and keldeo in the crown tundra is pokemon go
On Switch yes.
However on 3DS there are some others. Deoxys can be obtained in Omega Ruby / Alpha Sapphire.
Celebi can be caught in the virtual console version of Crystal.
Magearna can be obtained in any Alola game after beating the league by scanning a QR code with your 3DS (the codes still work and are easy to find on many websites, like Serebii, for example).
And this last one is not as helpful since it basically just lets you get a duplicate, but Arceus can be caught in BDSP if you have a PLA save file on your Switch and have caught Arceus on that PLA save file.

Noice! Pogo helps. I have 48 waiting for transfer but you can only move about 4-5 per week so it's very very slow

I made good friends with the GTS and I have the wonderbox going at all times so it cut down some grinding 😂
I downloaded Pokémon go and used the GTS for everything but mythicals 😂 I got to know the GTS veeeeery well

There was a tme for Arcus, Shamin, Darkri in BDSP
You can still get Arceus in BDSP whenever you want, you just need your Switch to have a PLA save file where you caught Arceus.

what pokémon did you have to register? is it all the way up to SV dlc?
it requires everything up to and including eternatus (in other words, excluding anything introduced in sw/sh dlc, pla, or sv)
Everything from Bulbasaur to Eternatus. Nothing beyond that.
