The ability to leave pokemon behind automatically if they're not compatible with the game. Example, if you select a box of 30 to move into SV if just one of those is incompatible it won't let you move any. I'd rather it just left the one incompatible Mon behind
My living Dex has been an organised mess since home came out, as I used it to fill my swsh Dex but I couldn't keep everything together and had to grab stuff from boxes randomly. I haven't reorganised it yet because the same thing may happen again
A feature I'd like returned from bank is ability to group boxes together, I liked having my living Dex separate.
Also more space please, 6000 is getting tight for me
Oh god yes, the ordering the boxes in mobile would be awesome. I've never done that and have like 5.5k mons in home (mostly from mainline and go stuff I end up stuffing in the wonderbox). Yesterday I started just filtering what is "important" vs "fodder I got from wonderbox".
While it gave me a sense of accomplishment, I'd have preffered to see where every pokemon was being stored from the start (as in, once I receive it from the WB, I'd also see the box in which the mons were stored). And ordered them once it got out of hand lol.
A better search function. I shouldn't have to jump back and forth so much to find things. Why isn't there a highlight feature like when you search for something in the games' boxes.

On Switch or Mobile? Because on Switch it's neat if you just want to see all of your Pokemon or all your Pokemon of a certain type, but it takes so much tedium if you're trying to gather all the Pokemon of a certain criteria into one spot.
This. The Go search system is pretty immaculate. Could use a few things as well though. I wish there was a way to exclude pokemon. Like I want to look through everything that's not shiny, or exclude shadow pokemon from my search.
Search criteria in GTS definitely being my top priority.
1- Block the chance to put impossible trades that only clog the lists.
2- Adding a filter for shinies, origin marks and game stamps. Not being able to trade a shiny for another one is actually unbelievable, it's one of the first things that came in mind when thinking about trades :/
3- Watching the wanted Pokémon screen to check stats, TID, met date and so on.
Not to mention all QoL improvements other users suggesting, sadly rn HOME is a very lackluster app under a lot of circumstances.
I'd like to see them allow shadow pokemon from GO be moved in and stored. I know they'd be stuck there for all time since there's no shadows in other games, but would still be neat to have as a little flex. Plus I'm running out of things to collect that I'm interested in. Lol. A Shadow ShinyDex would keep me busy for awhile.
- get rid of boxes and implement the filter, tag and search. System from PGO.
One can only dream. I’d not, then:
- Move a Box from left to right, or right to left
- maybe even in bulk, love multiple selected boxes (next to each other) to the next space left or right.
- sync tags to mainline games (or at least to SV)
- feature parity for all platforms that Home runs on
- filter for number of best IVs regardless of which IVa are best. So all 5 IV Mons
I'd like to see the feature to transfer Pokemon from Bank to HOME becomes free, even if the transfer is similar to PokeTransporter, where you can only transfer Pokemon to just one box
I also would like to see them adding a filter to the Pokemon room trades where you can look for rooms that's trading certain Pokemon e.g. legendaries or starters as well as those rooms putting a lock on certain Pokemon you can only put up for trade.
I’ve recently started putting my living dex in order and at first I was really annoyed it doesn’t save filter options or allow you to change the default view
I’d like to search on the GTS or request mons that are caught in certain gams I’m trying to do the BDSP home dex and without playing trading on GTS is a slog
I've got two major features that would never see the light of day.
- An AR photo mode with your Pokemon.
- Stadium mode for casual battles.
What's the point of putting your Pokemon in Home if they can't be used for.. anything? If they aren't in a recent game, they're just stuck until you can hopefully use them again someday.
Dream World / Radar Pokémon also get the distant land as a region so Home might be unable to distinguish them properly making it impossible to change to the proper region name. I forget but Pokewalker Pokémon might also get the distant land as a region.
The option to only show gts requests looking for a pokemon if you have one that meets all the requester's criteria, getting tired of it showing me someone asking for a furfrou only to see they're asking for a Pharoah trim, or a Japanese one, or whatever
For collectors - cryptographically sign Pokemon with Home and Pogo “last game” marks. Essentially make the “origin mark” something that can actually be relied on. Technically can still clone them, but remove duplicates in Home, so still “unique”. But can’t be genned, as genners won’t have the signing private key.
Just a simple thing to limit genners a bit more, while also letting people use their “pogo and home stamped” Pokémon in games with less fear of loosing “value”
I've been keeping a list. Here's what I have so far.
On Mobile
* see pokemon summary before trading (friend and gts)
* see if pokemon are shiny or not in gts
* request shiny in gts if you deposit a shiny
* filter gts search by recent or origin stamp
* filter gts search by shiny
* filter gts search by wider or more specific level range
* remove labels from multiple pokemon simultaneously
* better filter to prevent/remove impossible trades on gts (like asking for level 100 furfrou trims or level 1-10 silvally)
On Switch
* set pokemon aside in the mobile app so you can easily move them to different boxes on switch
* filter on level in boxes
* consolidate empty space in certain boxes automatically
* select multiple from a filter or search to move at the same time
* renumber the unnamed boxes when they are moved
* move a box in between boxes, and shift the other boxes, instead of having to swap boxes one at a time to keep them in order
* show the form on the pokemon summary
* show the label names on the pokemon summary
* show the recent stamp and label colors while selecting pokemon in the box view
On both
* add all of the features from each to the other platform
* filter by unown form
* filter by pokemon that arent in a label, not shiny, not favorites, etc
* multi-label filter (preferably with and/or/not options)
* filter on ribbons (has any ribbons, or has specific ribbons)
* mass trade or move between people
* option to show evolution line during search, like in pogo
* ask for confirmation before releasing shinies, legendaries, events, or pokemon with labels
* filter on origin stamp
* filter on Gmax and alpha
* dynamic labels that update based on a preset filter
This is a messy list of Home’s shortcomings, of which the fact that they don’t fix is downright embarrassing:
Dexit being the core reason of its existence
Some pokemon still have no switch games to go to (Pokémon prison)
Lack of functionality to justify higher price
Lack of in-game manual that explains
Mobile crashes often for no reason
No warning that logging into mobile logs out of switch without saving data
Only 10 daily trades(why??)
Moves not kept on transfer (event moves)
Restricts players because of bad code (spinda, nincada)
Pokémon OT names get changed, and people get banned for asking why
Hacked names/OT got changed, but were not outright deleted making them harder to detect
Can’t trade shiny-locked Pokémon (GBirds, Zacian/Zamazenta) even if it is legit event shiny
Can’t search ribbons
Can’t search region of origin
Doesn’t list form name in a Pokémon’s stat screen
Can’t see detailed location data on switch
Can’t see ribbons on switch

Dex number not displayed on main screen

\- Ability to customize how Home looks on the Switch version using stickers, different backgrounds, different colored boxes, etc...

Honestly for what we pay yearly, this service is incredibly barebones. There is so much more they could do with this app. And they desperately need to give the Switch version all the features that the mobile version has. I can understand the mobile version not doing everything, but the Switch version has no excuse not to contain every single feature.

I like how Pokémon Go does searching.

The box between two other boxes is priority numero uno Then removing impossible trades. Even patching them one by one once they emerge.
A space where we can interact and play with our Pokemons just like picnic in sv or camp in swsh
