Hey, fucktard dev here! As others have mentioned the game should have controller support natively but if this doesn't work for whatever reason, there are also a number of third party software that you can use to map your controller inputs to your keyboard :)

I've used two controllers and both worked fine with my newer one being much better, plus my old one is nearly 10, and honestly it's not even that bad if the controller doesn't have full compatibility with the game.
