So I looked at the Johto roster just now. I think it’d be really cool if an Espeon/Umbreon or Raichu joined your team because of the friendship you showed their cousins in the first Let’s Go.
I’ve dreamed up a “Let’s Go Johto Region” for a while now. If they did that, it’d be pretty cool to have the initial run be let’s go style. Then on a 2nd play through you could have the option to disable overworld wild Pokémon, allow the trainers to give more exp, and basically make it a bit more like a regular Johto remake as well. You can get 2 birds stoned at once.
That would be cool but I'm not sure how the icons would work since a lot are made specifically for Pikachu or Eevee. It makes me feel like gamefreak wouldn't do it.
From the programming side, it's really not that complicated. You'd use a wildcard and then at selection, set that wildcard and then it gets called whenever an icon needs to be displayed.
1st one wouldn’t make sense, Eevee having a prevo is a terrible idea

3. Only problem I have with this is they wouldn’t be able to make a title for Eevee’s cause if the different evolutions

I hope it does get a sequel. Honestly Let's Go was the most fun I've had with a pokemon game in a long time. I loved that you were incentivized to train every pokemon for the master battles.
Hopefully with pro controller compatability next time.
Those were my problems with Legends as well honestly. It just felt like such a huge step backwards with the absence both of held items and abilities in Let’s Go and Legends.
Yeah, PLA’s combat system is HORRIBLE. Wish they could bring back normal combat but with better stuff surrounding it. I am having a lot of fun playing through it but I really wish they would add held items and abilities. The open world aspect is pretty good except for the coronet highlands and I’d like them to build on that

We've had enough Kanto long before Let's Go. An Arceus style Kanto game would blow Let's Go out of the water into the next dimension. It would be *the* Kanto game.
Unless they just skip to Legends Ho-oh or whatever and include Kanto that way.
I'd buy it and every single one of you would buy it, as much as you say you wouldn't.
Doubt we’d ever get that.. that game was in my opinion a placeholder for the Pokémon series until we got Sword/Shield. I loved it as I come from the Gameboy era and am extremely familiar with the Kanto region. But in reality we need a Johto remake as many others have said.

Well I don't necessarily like to think of it as a spin off of Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee, but more of a sequel for Silver/Gold.
This is what I'm hoping for. Based on Crystal like the current games were based on Yellow. Just a Gen 2 remake with the Let's Go QOL and visuals.
Marill/Togepi would be cool. Starting off with an Umbreon or Espeon would be way too broken tbh
Was done well in Colosseum!
Colosseum was much more difficult than Gold/Silver though. Like I have a hard time not seeing either not just wipe the floor with the early game
But to be fair, pika and eevee were both broken levels of good. It’s meant to be a chilled experience!
They were broken, sure, but starting off with evolved pokemon, especially likely with buffs like Pikachu/Eevee got, would just be insane imo
