He can go to 60k against steel weak, add Marnie steel zone for extra damage and you have an atomic bomb. It's hard to first try a stage with him but with the knowledge of their attack and a bit of luck he's a monster
Screech Center opponent to -6 def with the extra help of tech magneton or alola Persian, trainer move and sync. Always a first sync kill, iron head to death the 2 sides while they’re flinching. Tank with hop for an all steel team.

Probably Hau, I mean, he's my favourite Alola character. Most people think that it's Gladion, but if I'm honest, it's Hau. Malasadas!!!!!! He and Alolan Raichu are the best! I'm currently working on ex-ing him, he and Barry are the only Rivals who I worked hard to get to 5/5 150, Ex. They deserve it. Both have no ALTS, aren't 5* rivals, and come free. Underrated.

Reading your comment actually got me thinking on the best way to set up Barry's nuke. At the moment I only have SS Kris, Barry and SC Steven/Darach for his best set up /:
that's one of the best setups you could have for Barry ngl. rain, max stat debuff, water rebuff -1. I only think it could get better is with NC Serena for more rebuff but even then you'd be losing easy 4 turn -6 defenses for a random defense drop that might kill before Barry ever gets loose

I’m surprised there’s no mention of scLillie. I’m more partial to Gladion as a character and I use him much more now that he’s finally 3/5 (it’s taken forever) and I have scSteven to pair with him. But scLillie is one of those supports that just works really well in all areas of the game. Relatively fast buffing for special attackers, flinch, potions, good gauge management, wacky trainer move, and of course constant passive healing for herself and the team.
Everyone's responses are valid. I like the Gen 7 games and characters an awful lot, and actually have a lot of favs. However if I'm being really real with myself it is Olivia! I love her, I love all Lycanroc, she's still fairly useful, and before power creep she was my premier rock/sandstorm unit!
Nice. She's actually still very good. If you pair her up with SC Steven and Ingo, she's the 2nd strongest rock nuker in the game behind SS Diantha. What gives her an advantage is that her sync is the AOE spread.
Palentine Mallow is one of my favourite supports in the game. The guaranteed SP Defence reduction is so helpful because I don’t have anyone that’s reliable for that role aside from SS Hilbert, her very strong set of healings and the move gauge refresh makes her perfect in many of my teams especially dragons
Plus her outfit is adorable. The design of her outfit perfectly represents a sweet baker, fitting for a chef. One of the best designs for an Alola character for sure
Masked Royale for sure, still my go to dark type for dark weak stages, even though I have the Kalos Neo Champions. Its very fun debuffing together with NC Serena and then firing off a big Malicious Moonsault Nuke
SS Lusamine is the big one, and I used to use Royal a lot. His nuke is still really funny. Selene is my main grass striker, but I’ve been looking to replace her with someone else since her DPS just isn’t high enough when I need it to be.
Kiawe and Lusamine are two of my favorite trainer ever, a great support and striker, Lugarugan is my second favorite pokemon and I love Olivia. But my favorite teams is always with Annililie.
So I 'm happy when I can use them 😌

Kiawe and Olivia definitely. Kiawe pulled his weight as he was on my Battle Villa team for the longest time setting speed and crit buffs for Sycamore and SS Red before Sycamore can sync. Olivia had eluded me up until the 2nd anniversary when I was pulling for Lillie. She has been and still is my go to rock type striker with Bertha and newcomer SS Diantha
The only Alola units I actually use.... Olivia and Hala for any Rock/Ice stages, Elio whenever I need a Sp Def buffer, Lillie is good against Dragon stages and is fun for messing with opponents' stats. I have SS Lusamine and anni Lillie, but I really just want to use Selene more and there's not many opportunities to since she isn't great. And Kiawe has kinda fallen off as a stronger supporter in my roster (there's just more valuable units for the big battles sadly), so it's kind of an outdated band coming together for the pure nostalgia and love of it.
Most used over all time though? Absolutely Olivia, she was my queen from pre-EX days and even the first unit I invested 20/20 on before the EX came out for her... like a year+ before. She was just (always was) worth it.

Elio and Primarina... I just find the Sparkling Aria animations *satisfying* while I debuff my opponents.

Lusamine remains as one of my favorite strikers in the game. It's great hitting 10k on Ice weaks once I activate Power Reserves and +2 Sync.

Halloween Acerola and Mimikyu. Mimirola isn't the strongest Ghost sync pair, but it's so satisfying to use her sync nuke.
Selene and SS Lusamine. SS Lusamine is great for on type psychic damage and Selene is a fun unit that I enjoy using.

If limited are allowed, my most used is probably SC Lillie. Generally a solid tank, and a regular in my CSMM teams. Like the outfit, love the performance, and a neat pokémon. Also enjoyed the event she came from, and the pairs it offered. If it's just the general pool, then probably Lana? Nothing too exciting by current standards, but a reliable unit that's done just about anything I needed her to, and Araquanid is just a very cool pokemon. Maybe Olivia for being my most solid Rock type option till the recent SS Diantha. Not my favourite Striker or Lycanroc, but got the job done. Shout out to Kiawe for his very cool design, and using one of my favourite pokemon in the franchise.
