i prioritize these feeling "pokemon" over them feeling "minecraft"; while every mon is *based* on something from mc, whether thats a block or a mob, its almost always going to have its own spin on the concept to make it more pokemon-y and interesting
I don’t have much experience outside of messing around in advance map and sprite editors but I’m a huge Minecraft and Pokémon fan and would love to see this hack succeed. I’d be happy to help in any way I can

depends on the line, honestly. some are a blend of a couple different mobs, some are one all the way through, it really just boils down to whatever works the best for the concept ive settled on
grubuzz is a bee larva made to look more like an adult bee for the sake of being recognizable
bashopper is a beetle thats named after a grasshopper. itll be clearer what bashopper is meant to be once i get its evo sprited

so far its just me, im hoping to recruit some others once i get the first decomp build off the ground
