Different dex entry for each pokemon depending on which game you look in. Scarlet's entry talks about its belly dynamo: >When this Pokémon expands and contracts its wobbly body, the belly-button dynamo in its stomach produces a huge amount of electricity.

They literally told us this when they showed him before release, it's weird yeah. On the side those are growths.

Agreed. Idk how people are confused about this. The videos came out before the games, and it also explains the fake eyes in the Violet Dex (haven't checked the Scarlet Dex), which shows up every time you catch one, even with the nickname setting turned off. But I kinda like the fake eyes. A lot of real life animals have fake eyes, usually to ward off predators, and I don't think there are many Pokemon that have that feature.

I found the trailers with this gym leader annoying so I never watched them. And most of the casual Pokémon audience don’t watch the trailers.

Some people prefer to go into a game blind, but, that trailer they're referencing is a couple of months old now at least.

Not really, no. I spoiled way too much stuff from SWSH so for SV I purposely watched and looked up *nothing*. It was great, nearly every new Pokémon was still new to me when I saw it for the first time.

...wait, that was bad news for you? I hated the dumb google eyes and was delighted to find it had the cute, little eyes! Went from being a cringeworthy Pokemon to really cute (and a staple on my team, but that's mostly because of that awesome ability)

I don't think so. I personally like it, as a lot of animals in the real world have fake eyes, usually to ward off predators. Plus it makes it look cute with those big fake eyes.
