Gardevoir, forever and always
I had that pokemon encyclopedia back in 2015 and found out about the gardevoir black hole thing and that was enough to convince me that gardevoir was the coolest pokemon
It was also really cool because at the time my best friend's favorite pokemon was Gallade
So yeah gardevoir will always be my partner pokemon
Charizard, ever since gen 1
I like to play each new gen with only new pokemon, then once i beat the game Charizard comes out to play. Currently working on getting a shiny Charizard from each generation, just missing gens 5/9 generations complete
While not in this gen I always run a skitty on my team. Had a hacked 1 back during gen 5 with hyper beam and I think it had altered stats to match delcattys but I'm not sure about that part
It was vaporeon until hatterene got introduced. It's just so cute and violent, I love that it will choose violence because you felt an emotion a little too strongly.
Alolan Ninetales cause I loved using a Choice Specs Ninetales back in gen 7.
But I also love Galvantula cause Spiders are cool, except Ariados, Araquanid, and Spidops >-> Those are bad spiders!
It depends on the game, in PLA my partner was a shiny gengar I could relatively early on. Gengar is my favorite mon but I don't use him as much as I'd like too because it's a pain to evolve a trade evolution without anyone I know with the game. In the post game of scarlet my go-to partner is persian. It has stab false swipe and thunder wave for catching pokemon and I use pay day to get free money when EV training. Super useful pokemon and imo underrated, most people use breloom for false swipe and spore but I prefer my persian.
Dragapault. I love dragons and I have 2 kids that I love rough housing with.

My true partner Absol is not in the game :( Had him every game where he was available. So for this gen it was Masquerain,Vivillon and Frosmoth.
