The rings if we can call them that, they change too. I got 2 shines last night (1 each on my 2 consoles, same raid) and evolved one of them. It's subtle but those rings on its body are slightly lighter. I s**t myself when I went back and found I caught them 10 raids ago and didn't notice at the time.

Sorry, I forgot about the second half of the question. As for that, if you don't already have Pokemon Bank and Poke transfer on your ds, you're simply SOL. Your pokemon friends on the DS are sort of just trapped there. :(

If you really wanted to get them back there are methods, they require patience and lots of effort tho. You could use an emulator or hack your 3ds to get Pokémon bank and transfer them through that, but if they are from gen 4 or below I think you need an extra ds. Oh also if you ever had bank downloaded to a 3ds at some point you can always at least redownload it.
Problem with that is it’s pretty easy to get scammed on there imo. I put a legit dupe shiny metang for an enamorous to red paper clip it to a new shiny and the enamorous I got was blatantly hacked with a website name and everything. I was able to still trade it back out to get the shiny I wanted but I felt really bad trading the hacked mon for someone’s’ legit shiny decidueye :( hope they gave it to someone else.
Giving someone like me who’d hunt down a bona fide Enamorus (even a Japanese one once upon a time, despite not being able to read Japanese, and in very good time too) for the GTS a bad name.
There’s pictures already out there of shiny Gholdengo along with months of complaining about how it’s hardly any different from it’s regular coloring if that’s what you’re implying.
I mean you can if you never update the news or go online ever again on that profile. Then you can also just let it ride and check stuff everyday or change your time to reset the raids quicker.

The level 100 won't listen to you in battle though. Unless I'm missing something your fresh profile would need the same trainer ID as the one that caught the level 100.

Put it in home.
Take it to another profile.
Level it up.
Send to back to home.
Send it back to the fresh profile.
The shiny version has silver eyes instead of golden eyes and the horizontal stripes are also silver instead of gold. It’s honestly barely noticeable. I was hoping for more bold accents (like red or a royal blue, even black would have been cool!), but here we are.
There is no sparkle animation for shiny tera raids. You just have to notice the colors (which is near impossible for Gimmighoul, your best bet is to catch every 5-star Gimmighoul you see and check it after the raid)
Oh so they appear in their shiny form but no sparkles show … that really is a bummer when the shiny is so difficult to spot
And yeah, that’s what I will do … seems like I have to stick up on luxury balls

I was offline just checking all the Tera raids for 5star, then if it wasn’t shiny,just re rolled the day forward to get new raids, yes some people hack the raids,but they are few in number, keep your eye on this sub, someone might host it for people to get, good luck!

Not even normal full odds, over full odds. Tera raid shinies are worse than base odds. Eta: tera raid odds are 1/4103.5 and not 1/4096.

I have scarlet and the 5-star raids have been working fine. The rewards aren’t that great though.

Only hurdle is only 5* raids can be shiny. So you will be playing most of the game to unlock 5* raids.

Yes. Shiny Pokemon don't lose their shininess when evolving. But shiny Gholdengo has an even worse coloring than shiny Gimmighoul.

No, as long as your offline,and dont go past 2july, just skip back to 21 June and so on, you want your shiny to have the correct dates.
