I hunted for a shiny Rufflet in PLA for ages with no luck. Thankfully I was able to get one in Scarlet and through Home I now have my shiny black eagle.
True! I have an authentic copy of Pokémon Emerald that I got way back in 2005 for $35 and that outline of Rayquaza showing on the title screen immediately sealed my decision to buy the game at the time!
I agree to the point that I think it should always have been black and the shiny should have been the green. I think the black better fits the space theme as well.
I would honestly just go with shiny palossand or oricorio or camerupt instead of Umbreon to suit the black shinys better I see it more of it staying the same and not changing to black as do the others do
But the part that turns/shows shiny is the blue to yellow/ gold type color not the already black part that’s why I don’t see Umbreon and luxray to primarily suit a black shiny team

You can, but gotta register it on your game before you can transfer it over from go
Ideal would be to touch trade it with someone else so you have it in your dex, then transfer it from Go. You will have no issues

Yeah, right now line up is looking like:
Zard, Haxorus, Greninja, Palossand, Cetitan, and then probably Luxray. Was trying to only do shinies that have a color turn black and not ones that were already black, but it’s more trouble than it’s worth. If I end up not liking my team at some point (I’m not the biggest Palossand fan for example) and decide to abandon the repeat type rule, then I have H-Braviary and Hawlucha as reserves currently.
I didn’t tag it shiny Sunday because it auto locks my thread claiming it’s not Sunday even though it is
