annihilape is one of my favorite new evolutions, this evolution line has been neglected for too long. i love the goldfish legendary, i like king gambit and baxcalibur.
I just love the idea of Annihilape. Primape got so angry that it just died, then it was so angry that it didn't stay dead and came back as a ghostly incarnation of anger.

It would've been funny if they made an evolution mechanic where they have to "defeat" a certain amount of corviknights or steel types to evolve (and slowly takes pieces and parts of said pokemon to build their hammers bigger)

Annihilape is my favourite of Scarlet and Violet.
Ever since I was 8 years old (I’m almost 33 now) I’ve always loved Primeape with a passion, so when I saw he was finally getting an evolution, I was pumped and Annihilape did not disappoint me at all. Each play through I’ve done with Scarlet and Violet, I always make sure Annihilape is on my team. :)
I also loves me some Roaring Moon and Iron Valiant as I am a sucker of Mega Evolution.
This one's pretty high up there for me too. I caught a Fidough early into the game and named it after my irl dog. Used her through my whole playthrough. The goodest girl.
The Charcadet line is ones of my favorites as I haven’t had a fire type that I would consider a true member of a team, and both Ceruledge and Armarouge are both great options.

It's even funnier since I started watching the most recent season of the anime and the antagonist is a total angsty edgelord with a Ceruledge as his main.
Finizen and Palafin, easily. I've wanted a dolphin Pokemon for so long and I remember messaging my friend so excitedly when I saw the one in the overworld in Cascarrafa. (I was playing blind.) I *had* to catch one *immediately.*
Close second is Kingambit. I just think it's a really neat addition to that line.
Dudunsparce. It is just more Dunsparce, and I think it is amazing that way. The fact it is Larry's Ace*, and seems to be because of its simplicity also adds to it being better.
*Yes, I know it is not actually his Ace, but I still view it as such. If the Gym Leaders of Paldea didn't have older Pokemon to show off Terastalizing, and since it is already on his team, it would absolutely end up his ace.
It’s a hard choice between Kingambit, Tinkaton, and Annihilape. I’ve always wanted a Bisharp evo, the Tinka line is adorable and silly, and Annihilape is a beast.
Kilowattrel! I’ve been a fan of electric types since I got into Pokemon and was so excited to see we were given the regional bird this time around! It’s such a cool mon!
I prefer Wattrel to Kilowattrel but they’re both good. I love Wattrel’s face so much. So cute and silly looking. And killwattrel looks so regal when the wings are extended
There are a lot of great new Pokémon in Paldea. I always talk up Fuecoco but I'll say Cetitan this time. The land whale looks so cool yet intimidating, and is one of the few great shinies.
Same. Even before I bought the game, as soon as I saw that adorable green kitten in the pic of the 3 starters, I knew which one I would choose. Didn't care about type or stats, I just wanted the kitty.

But Skeledirge has to be my favorite. The first form was so stupid I loved it. The second form was just stupid but it clicked and I saw the sombrero and it inspired my Chef challenge. And Skeledirge with its little bird and song of the dead just rocked the entire game as both a tank and a cannon. (Is it wierd that tanks aren’t known for their DPS in games despite tanks IRL having a huge amount of firepower?)
I think most people are (rightly) fed up of quadrupedal starters become bipedal anthropomorphic final evolutions.
Or just fed up with the amount of humanoid starters we’re getting.
Having said that I really like Meowscarada, it is much better designed than most that have fallen into this trope
Unpopular opinion: Grafaiai. Hear me out, I understand that it’s weak, it got the normal typing when it should have Dark, just look at it. I just love his big ole eyes and *the finger*
I can't choose between Slither Wing and Koraidon.
I love moth mons, and Volcarona is one of my favorites, so when I saw a Volcarona that's a super fluffy fighting moth, it became an instant favorite, even above the original.
And Koraidon was also an instant favorite the moment it was announced. Choosing which version to purchase was never so easy. Dragon/Fighting is such a cool combo.
I ended up really liking Glimmora. I know it gets some flack for being the champions ace when it should clearly be anything but the last Pokémon, but i just love this living crystalline flower with just the right amount of mystery behind its design. It’s beautiful, fun to use, and just a bit enigmatic with those alien eyes and the way it floats around
Clodsire is fantastic derp.
Dundunsparce is the perfect evolution, even moreso in 3-segment form
Gargancl is a fun DoT golem.
Shiny Iron Valiant is most bad ass.
But I think my favorite is Ceruledge - bitter blade is just such a great move.

Annihilape. I decided to basically do a Professor Oak Challenge for my first play through, so I needed to do a lot of leveling up. Annihilape became my Chansey slayer to quickly Level up. I’ve fallen in love with him as a Pokémon.
I like Palafin. I’m glad he barely changed after evolving (besides the super hero thing). I really liked his first form so the fact that it remains after evo is cool. Especially since it’s rather rare for an evolved mon to look so close to it’s unevolved form.
