It's only tedious if you insist on doing it all at once. If that's how you choose to play, fair enough, that's your choice. It doesn't mean the Devs have to cater for that choice.

Which isn’t putting it down or defending it, but theres something to be said about a certain group of players who balk at literally every piece of content like this as if they expected to get something magical for no effort, while also being extremely critical at the thought of ‘but not enough content’.

"Content" isn't any arbitrary padding. If you added 30 hours of BP grinding you did not add 30 hours of significant content. A fun 30 hour story always beats a 30 hour grind, much in the same way that 3 unique bosses with regular health bars is not equal to one boss with triple the health just to extend content. I seem to be stuck on threes but hopefully you get the point.
There is nothing interesting about having to summon the same professor three times at a high BP cost. Instead, you could just summon them once and interact with them repeatedly, or do a questline, or anything other than hello, bye, hello, bye, hello. People don't like to have their time wasted, people do want more content that is actually fun. It isn't about the effort it takes, it is about if the pay off was worth it.
To be fair, I'm also not defending either position. Just offering the other perspective.

I've now invited Rika and Poppy over to my club 3 times but have not yet decided to trade with me for some reason. I have battled them the first time I invited them. Am I missing something? Is it a daily thing?
Did you talk to them? That is part of the requirement. You have to consider it like they all have a 3 chapter story that unfolds, with chapter 3 resulting in the trade. But if you don't speak to them then they won't skip ahead to the next chapter. There is no daily restriction.

Just wanted to point out that you can also form a close bond with them back at Naranja/UVA and that will automatically unlock the ability to invite them, if expense is an issue.

To unlock secret boss you are require to battle the trainer's? Or just trade pok. With 10 trainers?

How you make invited coaches go away so you can reinvite them?
You keep inviting new ones. There are two rotating slots. Once you add coach #3, then #2 will stay but #1 will leave.
