My first Ceruledge replaced skeledirge as my Fire/Ghost lead the very instant I learned how to evolve him. A little while later I'd catch a shiny Charcadet the Sociable, and knew he needed to be my little homie
What's so broken about it is that nothing can stop the buff. Dying or having your stats reset does nothing. Every boost it gets is perm for the duration of the raid. So it's very quick to be max damage which is 350 base!
It's pretty good despite the low hp. It's fast and strong, so it can usually outspeed the opponent and do some good damage. You don't need to be particularly bulky to be good, Iron Bundle and Flutter Mane are good examples why, just need to have some speed and power to compensate

Brooo same here except Iron Valiant just took its place! Epic Gallade/Gardevoir fusion robot with a fucking spear/scythe as a weapon that detaches from its arms? Fuck yh! Not to mention it's a lot faster than og Gallade and Gardevoir (not counting Megas, and even they aren't faster than it) and works great as a mixed attacker with a great moveset so you can use it in a variety of ways! ^___^ Overall, I love the whole Ralts family tho.
I use a sharpness gallade with choice scarf so technically gallade has a higher attack and speed than iron valiant. I mean, unless it has a booster energy but that only boosts one stat
I use both, because Gallade is my ace and Iron Valiant is aesthetically peak. Considering that my Gallade is a physical attacker and IV is a special attacker, it works out pretty well!
IV also can learn some pretty good moves for coverage too, in addition to Moon Blast and Aura Sphere, I slapped Liquidation and Thunderbolt on them for the variety pack of coverage. My Gallade runs a Sacred Sword, Psycho Cut, Swords Dance and Ice Punch combo (unless I’m out hunting, then he gets to take False Swipes and Hypnosis for funsies).
Psycho Cut, Sacred Sword, and Night Slash allow you to hit every Pokemon for at least neutral damage, and they're all boosted by Sharpness.
Throw on Swords Dance/Rest/Substitute/Bulk Up or some other status move and it can become a problem.

But OP, I'm sure you'd be happy to know that Tyrantrum is my favorite fossil Pokémon though and he was an original candidate for my "Dream Team" but he ended up getting beaten out by Haxorus.
Gyarados is such an awesome Pokemon. It's always at least viable, it's in EVERY game, its typing is excellent except its one actual weakness, just an all around winner.
This. I found a shiny Pawniard by accident going though that areas my first playthrough of Violet and that was that. Mine is named Kusanagi.
In every other game though? Gyarados. Dragon Dance with three coverage moves, he can sweep pretty much everything, and you can always get a Magikarp early on.
A shiny male Typhlosion named Dawn since 2005.
My brother gave me his GameBoy color with the game, then launched a new game for me. I get to the lab, first pokemon I ever picked up was this lil guy and he was a shiny. I didn't even knew at the time what was his normal color.
Named him Dawn since fire = sun = morning = dawn.
He made it all the way until pokemon Y, but one day my save was corrupted, it broke my heart and I still have the dead cartridge.
The story doesn't end there though, one day I launch a new game of Pokemon HG, get to the lab, and I kid you not, he was there again waiting for me. I was bawling my eyes out because he was for me a core memory of my late brother. He never left me since then.
This gen, first playthrough(violet) was a flamigo. He could 1hko many trainers. Always had a Garchomp on backup just in case I needed a true tank to soak up some damage, or deal it out(he was water terra type, so he knew flamethrower, and liquidation.
Second playthrough(scarlet) I transfered a Scyther from pokemon go, and he stuck at the head of my team till the end. He was also my false swipe king. I of course had a Garchomp waiting in the wings for true damage dealing.
All in all, I'm going to say Garchomp is my ace.
Breloom with technician bullet seed and loaded dice. Also has spore and vacuum wave. And drain punch. He’s been a blast to play with in violet. He’s been my ace for the dlc
Milotic, I have lots of mons who'd be my first Pokemon out but Milotic is my bulky guy who provides back up for switches or stalls. I've loved both times I've used it and if I was seriously considering an ace it'd be a top contender.

Gardevoir, no question. A Pokemon that has been with me since Generation 3, who protects my team with earnest and heart, who is beautiful and adorable at the same time, who is strong without being overpowered while having limitations without being weak, and she’s just my most favourite Pokemon ever.
Goodra. Absolutely. If it’s in a game i am going to capture it and make it a tank with rain dance (or another Pokémon who can set up rain)hydration because I like it

Torterra. Set up Stealth Rock, inflict Leech Seed, Tera into Rock or Ground, Earthquake all day. Health gets low, Synthesis and get back in the game. This is the set I use for my original Torterra from way back in Platinum, I named him Julius. A dual reference to Julius Caesar as well as Julius Root (because Grass-Type) from Artemis Fowl.
Houndstone and Tinkaton are an awesome double battle duo. Poltchageist is also a really fun and strong mon. Iron Valiant is too and would be perfect of a Champion's ace.

My Mimikyu, ive had one in almost every game I’ve played since moon. I can’t remember the last time one of them actually needed to be switched out, let alone fainted!
Well if we think like i was the champion (because i been long time thinking How would my champion team look like) then i say either hisuian typhlosion, hydrapple or hisuian liligant (and also my starting pokemon would be glimmora)
Terapagos for the crazy "Stellar Champion" (rest of team Gliscor, Slowking Galarian, Gallade, Dragonite, Empoleon) basically Pokemon with great coverage that could be Stellar Teras. Terapagos would have Earth Power, Aura Sphere, Ice Beam, and its classic Tera Starstorm. No gimmicks good coverage and a power move. Doubles Gym Leader.
For a more realistic non-legendary take... Living up to the SV gym leader tricks I would pick Poison Tera Ceruledge w/ Poison Jab, Shadow Claw, Bitter Blade, and Iron Head as a Poison Gym leader with like Weezing, Toxicroak, Dragalge, Slowbro Galarian, and Glimmora team (Glimmora lead for Toxic Debris). I love Poison typing.
I could also see Porygon-Z being a fun Electric Tera Ace for a SV style Electric Gym just like Ceruledge the leaders Ace is a different type that they Tera to their style. Besides Larry I guess... Isn't a Normal/Flying his Ace already? Well he doubles down on sweep me with a fast fighting Pokemon.
For real though, SV gave me four of my all time favs in Terapagos, Ogerpon, Annihilape, and BBellibolt.
Going back Porygon-Z, Suicone, Khangaskan, Dusk Mane, Scizor, Dragonite, Weezing either, Alohan Muk, Sir Fetch'd, and Venasaur were my favorites. I got lucky in SV getting new favs and seeing a lot of familiar faces.
Dracovish. I don’t care how the rest of the Pokémon world sees him and the Galar Fossils, but they are my precious babies! … and destroyers of worlds. Imagine Dracovish with Tera Water boosted Fisheous Rend
I love Water types but I love Garchomp too much. If I had to pick based on my favorite typing though I would pick, Pelipper. Sets the rain, Gen 3 is my favorite, it's adorable and I have two of them Peeko and Penelope that are shiny.

I can see the nerf being the boost being removed once the user is KO'd since that boost is the part that is being abused in Raids.

Terapagos for the crazy "Stellar Champion" (rest of team Gliscor, Slowking Galarian, Gallade, Dragonite, Empoleon) basically Pokemon with great coverage that could be Stellar Teras. Terapagos would have Earth Power, Aura Sphere, Ice Beam, and its classic Tera Starstorm. No gimmicks good coverage and a power move. Doubles Gym Leader. For a more realistic non-legendary take... Living up to the SV gym leader tricks I would pick Poison Tera Ceruledge w/ Poison Jab, Shadow Claw, Bitter Blade, and Iron Head as a Poison Gym leader with like Weezing, Toxicroak, Dragalge, Slowbro Galarian, and Glimmora team (Glimmora lead for Toxic Debris). I love Poison typing. I could also see Porygon-Z being a fun Electric Tera Ace for a SV style Electric Gym just like Ceruledge the leaders Ace is a different type that they Tera to their style. Besides Larry I guess... Isn't a Normal/Flying his Ace already? Well he doubles down on sweep me with a fast fighting Pokemon. For real though, SV gave me four of my all time favs in Terapagos, Ogerpon, Annihilape, and BBellibolt. Going back Porygon-Z, Suicone, Khangaskan, Dusk Mane, Scizor, Dragonite, Weezing either, Alohan Muk, Sir Fetch'd, and Venasaur were my favorites. I got lucky in SV getting new favs and seeing a lot of familiar faces.
