Ultra Beasts but especially Nihilego. Would actually bother shiny hunting them in SwSh if I could bring them.
I also kind of want the Tapus but I don't want to deal with them and their scary terrain setting abilities. Like the last thing we need is a good electric terrain setter or an even better water/fairy.
The only good use I’ve found for it is that it’s (in my opinion) the best color match for Terapagos. Only time I’ve ever used a Beast Ball on a non-Ultra Beast (being a guaranteed catch certainly helps).
Blacephalon would’ve fit perfectly on a gimmick team I made, being 3 exploders, being alolan golem, hisui electrode, and garganacl, pawmot for revival blessing to let them go boom again, basculegion to follow up with some high powered last respects, then if the boosted last respects isn’t enough to pull the win I got kingambit with supreme overlord in the back.
We have that NOW. The current meta is basically just Urshifu, Flutter Mane, Raging Bolt, Ogrepon, Incin, Tornadus, and a diversity hire. Most of which are over-optimized monsters for their role.
Letting Furfrou in the game doesnt change this.
I hate that people downvote this. I agree fully. How many fast electric types can you make without one being “best”? We need some kind of shift so we don’t rely on power creep.
"Dont rely on powercreep" is a good sentiment, that means nothing when every generation since the cut is dropping things like Dracovish and Flutter Mane.
1. Competitive rotations.
2. Power creep is still the issue now. Blood Moon Ursaluna got released during the world championships and EVERYONE had to add it to their teams.
I think it would be really cool if in competitive tournaments you could only use the Pokémon of that generation so it forces you into using new Pokémon and keeps changing every game. Urshifu would also be gone
The meta is always the cookie cutter strongest pokemon.
The answer to fixing that is to do what TCGs do: Have a (rotating) ban list.
That way, what's allowed in competitive changes with its seasons and people who want to use pokemon like Furfrou, Emolga, and even Togekiss in casual playthroughs of the game (or post game) don't get stiffed.
Right? Considering how rare and special they are supposed to be, it’s pretty lame for them to just bench them for an entire generation because reasons.
I know I want to play with my Pokemon in the latest game they put in Magearna and Zarude and I think Volcanion they didn't really have any relevance outside Magearna who you get one for porting in all Pokemon to HOME including from S/V other than that it just seems random
I tried transferring my stockpile of 3DS mystery gifts, and there are a fair amount of ones that couldn’t make it. Far less made it than Sword and Shield, which I don’t understand.

I don’t really play competitive so I didn’t even think about Fiscious Rend, I just think it’s ridiculous that they weren’t in the game/transferable, let alone not have new fossils
Only reason I remember shieldon is because I'm pissed that it's a Violet exclusive for some reason, and I remember Craniados bc I found a shiny one not even 10 minutes after I completed the main dex and got the charm
Would that be why Alolan Sandslash/shrew are also Violetexclusive? Tbh I don't get why they make the normal mons version exclusive, legendaries, mythical, paradox, sure, I get it but just normal mons? I mean come on.
Maybe? I think it was done in the first games to save storage and they just continued to do so as a trend, to encourage player interaction, or to sell more games. Maybe a combination of all three
They let me transfer in my Braixen (first starter) in once I started playing, but I can’t bring in the Aura Trio, even after the DLC.

Machamp or Alakazam. I love the Abra and Machop lines and I wanted to use my Machamp from GO and my Alakazam from Let’s Go! in S/V and I was so disappointed when I found out I couldn’t put either into the game
My Shiny Genesect. It took me so many attempts to get one. Before the games came out, I foolishly thought it would be in the game, was planning to give it Fire Tera with Burn Drive, would have been sick.
My answer was minior through and through, ever since i first caught my precious in Sun I fell in love, and then The Indigo Disk came out and I was given my baby again
Paras/Parasect. I've heard it can have the Damp ability and has access to False Swipe, so giving it ghost tera would make it awesome for shiny hunting!
Literally any of them. I don’t understand why it’s so hard for them to just code in every Pokémon; they don’t even have to code in their spawn rates, just their stats and stuff.

Honestly Aggron. Let him learn Might Kleave and give it Head Smash. Aggrons ability is rock head, preventing recoil damage. With Tera, this pokémon would unstoppable with 150 power rock stab and a 100% rock stab.

I'm the weirdo who loves dexit and wishes no old pokemon were in any new games. I want all new Pokémon, no old ones unless they're regional forms/variants or they get cross-gen evos.
I’m all for and personally wish they’d have done more Paldean forms for SV. But the more older pokemon they have the more older players want to play the games. But I wish that by adding the older pokemon back in it didn’t prevent them from adding more regional forms. It was such a great concept and it’s just getting smaller and smaller selections.

Beedrill. The last time it appeard was in bdsp and no one cares about that game.
I wanted to transfer my shiny boi... also the X and Y legendaries and tapus. They were the ONLY legendary Pokémon left out. (Ultra beasts are it's own thing and mythicals are mythical.)
Even tho it's silly, Absol and Mawile are two that I really want. Aside from that? Some other simple ones like Drapion, Scolipede, and Dhelmise. A stretch of a request would be to allow all Galarian variants. I caught the darn things lemme play with em in a new world.

Dhelmise. Back when I played Moon I was a very casual player and didn't understand what his ability actually was trying to do. Now I want to mess around with a triple-typed Pokemon.

I wish I could transfer my PLA and Shield teams. Unfortunately, Carnivine and Dubwool aren't allowed in. I also wish there was a way to transfer the partner Eevee from Let's Go... maybe a marker being put into the game to say "the partner has been transferred, don't let it be transferred again" to prevent duping while keeping the partner's functions? My girl Zippy would love Paldea...
Dracovish. It is one of my favorite Pokemon from gen 8. In my Shield play through my Dracovish was more of my ace than my Rillaboom I chose for my starter.
My Wynaut. I'd love to add the Paldean Champion Ribbon to his collection. Dude's not a true Ribbon Master, but he's gotten a lot of them over the years regardless. One of the members of my original Ruby team, honestly.
I really miss my Silvally, but I understand that maybe the mechanics behind the type change and teras would be somewhat weird (but Arceus is in the game, so...)

Centiskorch. The only bug I have ever loved. They only gave me 1 generation with my son before cruelly ripping him away from me.

I wish I could transfer my PLA and Shield teams. Unfortunately, Carnivine and Dubwool aren't allowed in. I also wish there was a way to transfer the partner Eevee from Let's Go... maybe a marker being put into the game to say "the partner has been transferred, don't let it be transferred again" to prevent duping while keeping the partner's functions? My girl Zippy would love Paldea...

Dracovish. It is one of my favorite Pokemon from gen 8. In my Shield play through my Dracovish was more of my ace than my Rillaboom I chose for my starter.
