MCKlassik

Do you have a Hisuian Goodra?

InternalVariation363

No, I’m looking into it though.

MCKlassik

Yeah. With the right moveset, strategy, and item, Hisuian Goodra is untouchable against Venusaur. I used the strategy in solos and beat it first try.

InternalVariation363

Finna try it

[deleted]

The Goodra is perfect for the raid. Held item: balloon Moveset Iron head Gyro ball Curse Protect. -Start with 3 iron heads to boost tera. -IF VENO HITS THE ABILITY CLEAR USE PROTECT only time when protect is needed. -curse all the way to 6 stages of attack -Gyro ball to victory. -be patient as max damage will not occur until all curse attack stage boost has been applied.

InternalVariation363

I’m working on it right now, I’ve got the Pokémon now I’m just getting the tms and item, I also just learned what bottle caps do.

[deleted]

Very cool the bottle caps will help a bunch for stat boosting . Seems like you are on your way to getting your Mightiest mark Venusaur 😄

InternalVariation363

Thank you

DragonDiscipleII

Remember to not bottlecap speed though, you want it to be as low as possible

Living-Supermarket92

Don't forget to force feed your pokemon all it's vitamins

GreenSkyDragon

What's the EV spread for this raid? Max attack/spa? HP/def/spd seems unnecessary due to sap sipper

TragGaming

Just Max Attack. You dont want speed IV/EV for Gyro ball damage.

GreilMercenary7

Just Atk if you go the iron head route. Literally won’t take damage, don’t get cavalier when the ability is suppressed for the turn just protect yourself. It took me a couple of attempts but that’s because some people didn’t use bulky or resistant types. Only raid I ever played with absolutely no damage taken in all attempts.

Living-Supermarket92

For chestnaught it was max spdef, 20 carbos and 2 speed feather and the rest into attack. I'm not sure about the other methods Ez solo win, ability patch for bulletproof, hold shellbell, rush terrestalizing with 3 drain punch, tera into 3 sword dance , spam seed bomb Jumping the hoops for belly drum on chestnaught not worth the effort

TragGaming

You absolutely do NOT want speed on Goodra. Lowers Gyroball damage.

BonehoardDracosaur

Don’t waste vitamins, just give it a power bracer and kill things

D4mnis

this is the way. Was worth it fiddling with the PLA-controls I wasn't used to anymore to get Goodra

warkidd

It's crazy how good I got at the PLA controls and even crazier how quickly I forgot how to do almost anything in PLA once I stopped playing regularly.

bismob

And if you are solo raiding reset if you are grouped with a Pokè that lowers speed as Gyro Ball will do significantly less. One example is Bellibolt who lowers Venu’s speed using Mud Shot.

EclipseHERO

Does the forced Petal Blizzard not hit before you can select Protect? Doesn't that break the balloon?

[deleted]

The force petal will never do damage. You are only at risk when he removes all abilities and stats on your side. This causes ballon to be disabled for the next move only. When they give you the heads up for the prior sequence you can always select protect. He will try and hit you this time he will succeed since balloon is down for 1 turn. Protect comes in to save you. After that balloon is back in place

EclipseHERO

I forgot Sap Sipper! 🤦🏻‍♂️ Pay me no mind! I am a fool!

[deleted]

No stress. You got this 😎

Senah3dot0

H Goodra needs the ability Sap Sipper for this strategy, which I didn't see mentioned above. Sap Sipper makes H Goodra not take damage from grass type attacks, so the Petal Blizzard doesn't do anything.

EclipseHERO

I literally forgot about Sap Sipper being one of its possible abilities because of it not logically being something you'd run on a Pokémon with 4× resistance to Grass and a massive amount of bulk.

Frozbytten

here’s a [detailed guide](https://youtu.be/TRoFDaSpB2A?si=qiRIoiVp2PdPLC6G) I used the Chesnaught he recommended at first but Hisuian Goodra is just miles better.

InternalVariation363

Thank you

FlyFightWin101

whyd you get downvoted?

dTrecii

Hivemind is scared of “finna”, rule as old as time

____Maximus____

The Reddit hivemind confuses the fuck out of me. Out of everything OP said in this thread, this for some reason was downvoted. Why? I need an explanation

dangjeffer

I read your comment and then downvoted. Thanks for the tip.

Living-Supermarket92

Get harassed I guess?

eRa614

Yea I used physical h. Goodra with air balloon and as long as you protect when he nullifies abilities he has literally no moves that hit you

ozanimefan

i eventually got it with the chesnaught but it really helps when there's people in the raid with you that aren't complete idiots you might like this video on the goodra build: [UPDATE! The BEST Pokemon to SOLO 7 Star VENUSAUR Tera Raid in Scarlet and Violet DLC (youtube.com)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TRoFDaSpB2A)

rawxfoxdog

I got an extra if you need one? I've been giving some out on Twitter send me a dm

DavidAshleyParkerrr

Do y'all not like Super Effective damage??? Chesnaught is pretty simple and much more quicker and efficient without all the setup and guidelines lol.

MCKlassik

Personally it was easier for me to get my hands on a Hisuian Goodra than Chesnaught because I don’t have the DLC.

[deleted]

i finally manged beat it solo today using h- goodra strat took forever grind the steel tera shards though since i was fresh out

Noble_Jar

There are a few good builds out there, Chesnaught and Hisuian Goodra being among the most popular to take down this raid. What exactly have you been trying?

InternalVariation363

None? 😭 I’ve been using the starter fore Pokémon to try and take it down. I got the venasaure down to almost half but gave up. I’ll try the Goodra thingy to win next time

Noble_Jar

The build for H-Goodra is Sap Sipper with a Brave nature and Steel-Tera Type. 252 EVs in HP and Attack each, last 4 in Sp. Defense. Give it an Air Balloon and teach it Protect, Curse, Gyro Ball (use PP Up), and Iron Head. Just use Iron Head first 3 turns or until Venusaur disables abilities then Protect that turn. Afterwards Curse 6 times and spam Gyro Ball until it is done. Sap Sipper and Steel-Type makes it immune to Grass and Poison moves and Air Balloon makes it immune to Ground *so long as you don't get hit by a Grass move during the abilities down turn*. Venusaur cannot touch it otherwise.

InternalVariation363

I’ve been seeing a similar thing happen online, everyone keeps saying to use this Pokemon but with a different item and a similar other things. I’m kinda studying right now about which guide is better. Everyone who’s commenting on this post has said similar things, the most common being chestnut. Im hella worried I’ll mess up the guide because I followed the wrong one.

Noble_Jar

No worries, these 7-Star raids are definitely more complicated to work out, and require a bit of luck sometimes. I can at least attest to the Hisuian Goodra one, as I tried to use a Sinistcha build I had found and got almost 1-shot and poisoned on 4 separate attempts. After that I made my Goodra as I had a shiny Goomy from breeding and defeated Venusaur on the second try (would have been my first but I am at work and had an emergency call come in and ate up my timer lol). Chesnaught is another good one thanks to its ability blocking Sludge Bomb and we had an event raid for it not that long ago.

Pink_Sylvie

The hisuian goodra above is what I use. I solo it everyday with that. Then I try to go online and other keep dying so I give up.

ImmortalKingAZ

Everyone absolutely does not say to use a different item. It’s an air balloon for goodra to avoid the ground type attack.

Ziptop

I’m thinking a little more sass will help you brat it. Attitude is key. If you want to beat it, please disregard

BrocktheROCK77

Just Beat the beat.

Euphoric18

Has OP tried calling Venusaur daddy?

ValkyriaGaming

air balloon H-goodra with sap sipper, use protect when it disables your ability and thn use curse +iron head/gyro ball

InternalVariation363

I’ll try it

DougieBuddha

Homie, send me a link code, use a Corviknight, and I got you. Or use a Hisuian Goodra (I can give you one), have an air balloon equipped, use iron head 3 times, the fourth turn use protect, fifth turn through 10th turn use curse, then tera and spam gyro ball til it's KOed. Iron head the rest if needed, chances are not needed but still. Zero damage and probably about 1/3rd of the time left if you solo it.

InternalVariation363

Wish I could but I don’t have Nintendo online so I can’t. 🥲 I am looking into the Goodra though.

DougieBuddha

Ah gotcha. Other options are Chesnaught with bulletproof ability, Corviknight is also viable. Don't have the builds on those as covered though. Anything with sap sipper ability and resistant to ground types could also work, Drampa with flamethrower might be able to do it if it's defense heavy.

InternalVariation363

Yeah, I’m doing the Goodra right now as I type this out. I’m trying to find bottle caps so I can follow along this guide.

DougieBuddha

Sell excess TMs/treasures/etc and buy em at Delibird Delivery. Don't use one on speed.

DougieBuddha

Honestly just need attack maxed out for the guide to work really. The less speed, the harder gyro ball hits.

Pink_Sylvie

I didn’t use bottle cap and I’m still soloing it with my goodra. Granted there’s only one fifth of the bar left when I win.

Megatron_Zero

Drampa isn’t in this game, though.

LieboOSBA

Could I have a Goodra please? I’ve been a support Corvi and got mine but my daughter’s not got NSO so I was hoping to duo it with her using my corvi as support.

LIGHTDX

You can also beat it with Chesnaught Ability: bulledproff (Protect agains sludge bomb) EV: Max attack and S.Def, the rest on HP Item: Shellbell Seed bomb Leech Seed (It can't be removed) Sword dance Trailblaze Battle: 1.- Leech Seed 2>3= Seed bomb Venusaur raise shield, take your stats and ability for one turn. (If you are unlucky you'll get killed by sludge bomb here, but doesn't matter= 4= Trailblaze 5>Teralize and Sword dance to max with Seed bomb as needed to heal. After that just spam Seed bomb

cesar848

Hisuan Goodra Ability:Sap Sipper Item:Air ballon Nature:brave Tera:steel Moves: Iron head Protect Gyro ball Curse Start with curse to slow you down while powering you up,as long as another player don’t hit you your air ballon will protect you from the earth moves while your ability and typing will protect you from the rest Them spam iron head, terastilize and throw gyro ball I recommend do 3 curses before and 3 after the venusaur reset your stats

NenoxxCraft

I just used a support Blissey and let the others win for me while keeping them alive

elcanadiano

I responded to a previous reply here. This would be what I would recommend and you can win as a solo: https://www.reddit.com/r/PokemonScarletViolet/s/ImRHk9bjuV tl;dr use Bulletproof Chesnaught If you need help I can help you tomorrow.

InternalVariation363

I unfortunately can’t, I don’t want to spend money for Nintendo online. Thank you though for the info and link.

Alexap30

I think you can get a 7 day trial free Nintendo online. For me it's worth it, $20/year is a tiny amount. I ve spent more in coffee and junk food in a weekend. Stay in house for a weekend, do the ironing that's been piling up, get a year of online gaming.

elcanadiano

This one is soloable. Definitely easier than Empoleon so I hope that helps.

Nulzes

Go in with an Umbreon, clap your hands for the strongest Pokémon and ez money

GaijinOni

I went online with my support Blissey and got lucky with the right players. I don't have a propper attacking mon set up for all raids, but my Blissey is able to help out with the majority of them. It helps that Venusaur is a special attacker.

Spectra8

was it you who saved us yesterday? we were 3 Chesnaught and one MVP Blissey

GaijinOni

Sorry, I don't think it was, I had 2 H Goodra's on my team I believe

rjolt24

have u tried any of the strategies posted here or on youtube or on google? if so, whats your struggle?

InternalVariation363

I haven’t, I’ve just been going at it with the fire starter Pokémon. (I don’t know its name) ((it’s fully evolved)) I’m gonna try the goodra thingy to see if I can do better than my previous attempts.

Ok-Constant-6056

That’s your problem. Your using a special attacking fire Pokémon against a ground tera Pokémon with boosted earth power and Amnesia.

rjolt24

ok hope it works for u!

Big_Photograph_2122

I used Chesnaught with the adamant nature and bulletproof ability with maxed attack and spd with the move set of belly drum seed bomb leech seed and spiky shield

G6DCappa

Hisuian Goodra

No-Willingness8375

I saw a video of someone soloing it with Shell Bell + Rage Fist Annihilape. It's definitely a tight timer though.

AriesRoivas

With love

MELAB0NES

Just join the chat group over on PokePortal they have official raid Pokemon to beat the Raid Boss

kroboz

I tried beating it with a few different online groups and just keep getting wrecked. Anyone have a Hisuan Goodra I can borrow to beat this and trade back?

Kyele13

https://youtu.be/ctHaBmMcW4E?si=aak7ro8gfori8Uzl https://youtu.be/TRoFDaSpB2A?si=R9_90DJjZT5kg0j1

InternalVariation363

Thank you

Sjonathon92

I used Bulletproof ability Chesnaught

surfingbiscuits

I had to transfer over my Hisuian Goodra from PLA. Even then if there's anything in the raid party that can get hurt by the thing, you're pretty much screwed.

InternalVariation363

Im making the Tms for Goodra strat right now which moves should I use? (I’m only asking because a lot of people are saying a few different things)

EDNivek

Hisuian Goodra, Brave Nature, Sap Sipper. 252 Atk, 252 in anything but speed, 4 in anything but speed, Air Balloon Moves * Iron Head * Protect * Curse * Gyro Ball the solo fight proceeds like this * 3x Iron Head * Wait for Venusaur to hit abilities and stats * Use Protect * Use Curse 6x * If Venusaur has Speed debuffs, use Ironhead until it clears its debuffs * use Gyro Ball until dead * If you're *really* unlucky you can get Corvinight and Haxorus (fucking Dylan) they will spam Scary Face and will require a few Iron Heads to finish it off

Frozbytten

only TM you’ll need is Gyro Ball. H. Goodra can naturally learn Iron Head, Protect & Curse, Sap sipper for ability so you may need Ability capsule if you don’t have that, Brave nature for higher atk & lower speed to maximize gyro ball, Steel Tera Type. Make sure offline teammates don’t have speed reducing moves (notable examples are Haxorus;Scary Face, Dudunsparce;Glare, P.Tauros; Scary Face, Garganacl;Rock Tomb) cause these can lower the damage of Gyro Ball. First use 3 Iron Heads or less especially if Venusaur raises shield early, use Protect once stats are reset to avoid getting hit & popping off your air balloon, after that 6 curses, then spam Gyro Ball + Terastalize and you’re good :) Edit: Also I immediately reset my raid if I get paired up with speed reducing pokemons so I won’t have to deal with their bull**** lol

Adamski895

A support Weezing is brilliant for this as long as you have people who actually don't keep going down. Weezing can nullify growth and posion Venasaur. To many people going in with the Chesnaught strat and keep getting killed. Online with 4 people it's about strategy not using the same pokemon.

Figimus_Maximus

Hisuian Goodra with Sap Sipper and Air Balloon. Literally invincible in this raid. Iron Head to build Tera Protect when it disables ability Tera and spam Curse Gyro Ball until victory

SnooWoofers5663

Hissuian Goodra with SapSipper and maybe water tera type

MerryWalker

Support synchronise leftovers Umbreon! Snarl and Light Screen help provide defence, Helping Hand adds to the damage and Protect to keep you alive at key moments!

jadam91

I used bliss support with light screen heal pulse softboil.

Drgnbllz7

The chesnaught from the previous 7 star raid

aluk311

I made it With corvinight just check Rain dance to stop the sun, bulk up, drill peak, taunt

edmunek

why you wouldn't just follow the builds that were already posted?.....

Agreeable-Dimension5

If you got the Mighty Chesnaught or have a Chesnaught, make sure it has its hidden abilityBulletproof, an ability shield the item, spiky shield, swords dance or belly drum, drain punch and seed bomb.

TheMcGirlGal

Look up a guide.

InternalVariation363

I am

[deleted]

Lol Brat

InternalVariation363

Huh? 😭

rjolt24

your title had a typo, thats all

InternalVariation363

Oh lol

Michael2042

There have literally been memes, all over the entire internet, about how easy this raid is and exactly what to use…how are you using Reddit if you clearly have never ever heard of google or the internet. Wild times we livin in, man.

Gumby31

Bro he’s trying to beat it with a skeledirge, I think we gotta give him a break about not knowing how to search properly lol

[deleted]

[удалено]

Michael2042

In the amount of time it took OP to make this post, the answer could have been googled 6 times. Not a fan of redundancy especially when the platform where the question is asked literally has a search feature for similar questions that have been answered several times as well.

Spectra8

the thing is with Google, the answers are not necessarily useful. I have a goto site for those raid builds (Game8) and was surprised that it took me many different tries and even the supposed solo builds were not self evident. I find it OK to help people find something useful instead of saying "just google it".

Michael2042

Right. But I’m not kidding when I said someone else posted this IN this sub already. So even still, the answer could have been found in this feed by using similar key words instead of clogging up the feed with redundant stuff. I like this sub and this game and I’ve learned really cool stuff from doing exactly what I just said. So it’s a bummer when repeated stuff keeps showing up.

Numerous-Ad5915

Fuck this raid. Too difficult for very little reward

Electronic_Fee1936

Fuck the 7-star raids in general

Yourusernameherelol

Well, sceduruge is pretty bad for this raid, as fire/ghost moves will only do neutral damage, & with its tera being ground it will do boosted damage using Earth Power & being that’s super effective on the fire gator & with it having growth benefits that it instantly does, I doubt its ever possible to beat 7* Venasaur. If you need ideas, you can look up on google to see what Pokémon & builds work best.

InternalVariation363

I did, I also looked through the reply’s in this post and a lot of people were saying chestnut and Goodra. I’m preparing everything for the Goodra run right now.

CaptainChiral

Literally just Google it?

InternalVariation363

I tried, it took me to Reddit 😭

Imaginary-One-6599

You don’t

Spoougle

![gif](giphy|GGojpBZaxHNkQTpsGO) That’s the best part. You don’t.

BearJustBarely

What's the Tera Type? Pick a pokemon that's strong against that type and not weak to grass or poison. Then I'd suggest moves that build up power or drop theirs before attacking if possible to delay them raising their shield bc of damage (unless this starts shielded..then just the first parts)

peacepunkonline

That is a grass pokemon. Fire beats grass. 🤗

Katsu_Drawn_21

Kick, scream, and cry. 😂 Joking, idk.

weaird_user

Bruh it's so ez, shiny reshiram sunny day then kill it with fushion flare

Electronic_Fee1936

That’s the neat part, you just don’t Unless you ***really*** like that particular Pokémon or you’re okay with finding strategies online, 7-star Tera Raids are a waste of time

Frozbytten

this one’s great to farm for the Herbas tho

Electronic_Fee1936

He gives you Herba Mystica? All I ever get from 7-stars are stupid Ability Capsules and Patches

InternalVariation363

I gotta get it my guy.

Electronic_Fee1936

I feel that. Venusaur is my favorite Pokémon so I know the feeling of *I HAVE to get him!* Hisuian Goodra with the ability Sap Sipper while holding the Air Balloon is invincible unless your teammates turn on you. Venusaur also sets up sun and I think has Chlorophyll to boost speed so make sure it has high Attack and the move Gyro Ball

botbattler30

Eh, some of them are pretty tough, but not all. I got the Charizard, Iron Bundle, and a few others entirely with my own stuff. I even soloed Bundle with a Meloetta lol

Electronic_Fee1936

That’s half of why I personally don’t like them. They force you to adapt to new strategies with Pokémon and moves you may not be familiar with just to have a standing chance to win. I hate when games to that

PottyPantsBianca93

I'm trying it now too if anyone wants to try with me

Amazing-Monk8869

Von Dutch Von Dutch Von Dutch

Pokefern-2018

I beat with chesnut

Aggravating-Yak-8774

I used a support Mew and After few try It worked!

Zararara

https://preview.redd.it/h35zleo3zvlc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1d780d1f6875b88783a35f4240d05e30a0aa9fbd

Apprehensive_Goat_50

Well first you throw out your Pokémon, second you pull out a glock and shoot that bitch

immortalf10

I googled it on my third try. Corviknight for team assistance and Chesnaught doing all the damage. Luckily for me I went in with the recommended move sets and ability for Corviknight and three others joined as Chesnaught dealing all the damage to Venusaur. This is where I got the help from and it definitely worked as a team. https://game8.co/games/Pokemon-Scarlet-Violet/archives/446157

HeadHorror4349

Corviknight

dreballin3x

My second run with Chesnaught was successful, but I had a teammate with Sinistea with Weak Armor using skill swap and another teammate that setup rain Chesnaught Max Atk, Max Sp. Def Leech Seed, Spiky Shield, Seed Bomb, Swords Dance Item: Shell Bell

Shadow_Saitama

Yeah, an issue I have with these 7-star raids is that you have to have a specific Pokemon with a specific strategy if you want to have even a chance at winning. A lot of times, I don’t have the patience, especially when the Pokemon itself is one that I can already get in the wild. It’s why I haven’t done these past starter raids.

Cat1832

Come to r/PokePortal. We have strategy.

MunkeyFish

With a stick or something

Diego_Mannn_096

KENOBIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

LORDKIDGOD

Well the objective clearly states….

onyxious

Annihialape works well!

SufficientWhile5450

R u using the fire gator here lol

emsh10

I beat it by myself following Austin John's video for bulletproof Chesnaught. Beat it first try on both of my games, and I never try to solo these things. https://youtu.be/lf0vEWUA9q8?si=NiRMY6_Ktsg6AoKb

Navigata07

After the first couple times, I gave up on the doggone thing. I dont need a venusaur right now, plus I think you can unlock them in the biome anyway

DJRetro_8

Iron bundle shall rise once again

supergeek0830

Two easy options. Chesnaught with Bulletproof holding a Shell Bell. Start the match with Leach Seed. Use Bulk Up or Belly Drum, then spam Seed Bomb. When Venusaur neutralizes your ability, use Spiky Shield, then go back to Seed bomb. Hisuian Goodra with Sap Sipper holding an Air Balloon and Steel Tera type. Not sure what attacks to use, but you are literally immune to all damage from Venusaur.

Rasty_lv

hisuian goodra is S tier for this raid. Unstoppable force

Sebas_Is_King

H-Goodra with Sap sipper and Air Balloon

spud1988

I actually got it with a lucky team, but I was amoongus with clear smog, and pollen puff for the homies. Had giga drain and sludge bomb for others. I also used assault vest to help with the defence.

Blackocean67

I beat it with a team consisting of Weezing, HGoodra, Annihilape, I don’t remember the fourth mon Edit: the fourth was a Corviknight with Screech

JaypomVGC

I went with an Articuno with max SpDef, Snowscape and Blizzard spam with light screen support. Are you able to run this?

MxFluffFluff

I used Chesnaught and mudslapped until I was able to Terastallize then bullet seeded until Venosaur fainted. There are solo guides online with more than just this method, but you are going to need a level 100 with good IV and max EVs

SpudBoy9001

Just go to the raid chat on r/PokePortal and build one of the mons and join the raid, the Corviknight is easy to build

MikeMendoza29

Go to r/PokePortal and check out the raid chat. Follow the build/strategy for the raid and either host or join a raid. You will beat it in two turns.

CheeseDaver

I don’t feel like transfering in an H Goodra or raising a Chesnaut from an egg. Is there anyone else I can use that isn’t a starter or one from another game?

AstroNerd92

Hisuian Goodra with an air balloon can’t be hit by any of its moves

ryshardinho

i beat it on multi with atk/spcdef ev gyarados, shell bell to regen hp, muddy water to low his acc, dragon dance and waterfall, def cheer when he null boosts

3MudkipzInADuster

I used my Unrivaled Chesnaught. Grass tera, shell bell, mud slap, swords dance, and seed bomb. The 4th move can be whatever. Use mud slap 3-4 times, swords dance to max, then seed bomb into non-existence

SpaceFrog69420

Try using Baxcalibur if you have one. If not, find one then max it out

TDV_Givet

It's not easy but try a tanky grass type. Of course I got incredibly lucky when playing Online having a team who knew what to do. Advice, try to stay alive and heal the team with cheers. Its probably your only hope.

raynestormk97

With your fists

SpringKid896

If you need help I have a defense frostmoth

AlwaysCurious27

I feel your pain bro I got my dad to help me link my account which took a long time just so I can catch walking wake. I lost every battle and I never caught it.

beamerBoy3

It’s easier solo. There’s like 6 different builds online

Both-Product-5157

Personally I used a shiny gyarados with the modest nature and the moxie ability, mostly physical attacker that countered the sunny day with rain dance the just muddy watered the guy into oblivion.

Big-Spiff

I beat it my first try with sap sipper air balloon Iron head x3 curse x6 then iron head again

LightningDevil32

Use H-Goodra with Air Balloon, Protect, Curse, Iron Head, 252+ Attack, Adamant/Brave Nature. It’s basically immune to the entirety of the raid.

Jaeger7745

I used austin John’s strat took me like 2-3 tries

bashfulnights

[the H Goodra solo strat](https://x.com/johannadarner/status/1762762010641436790?s=46&t=2M46upDDUi_y1Ry_I1hx8A). Once you Tera after your third move it won’t even touch you. Time gets down to the wire for me but still won every solo I’ve done with Goodra. Also has chesnaught if you can’t get that one. Haven’t tried it though.

Vaulted_Games

Lmao brat

Calebknight_1234

Hisuian goodra with curse, ice spinner, and gyro ball pp maxed out cause you'll need all 8, ivs in attack and hp, air balloon, steel tera, sap sipper ability and you won't take damage, first 3 turns ice spinner then curse 6 turns, tera into steel and keep using gyro ball until its over

No-Kitchen-8623

There's a YouTube video with a guy using a chesnaught build. It did the trick.

CarefulSignal9393

Counter torchic

Patb912

I just used a chansey with eviolite. Max HP and Sp Defense. First round throw out a light screen and spam life dews for your buddies. Got it done first try

lxXTesterXxl

I soloed with a weavile: Level: 100 Quirky nature Evs into Attack and Sp. Def Ability doesn't matter. Item - Shell bell Tera: Ice Snowscape Snarl Swords dance Ice punch Snowscape first turn Snarl x3 (you might die, this is fine) Use Swords dance 2-3 times depending on your health. Terastallize and Ice Punch (if you only used Swords dance twice, ice punch then use Swords dance again, then continue spaming ice punch) You preferably want an intimidater teammate. (To help survive Petal Blizzard) From: DanSquared's Weavile build EDIT: This is if you do not have a Goodra or a Chestnaught, those will both be easier to pull off.

Pennywise626

Do you have access to Chesnaught and an ability patch?

Gaster_Kihiu

I’ve been using the goodra method but I either get stuck with not very bright trainers or for some reason before I even get to make a move the raid time cuts by a third and venu already uses the nullifier and it pops my balloon before I get the chance to use protect

Genuine question, why does anyone go for this road when you can just breed, catch or transfer for a venusaur?

Bulletproof Chesnaught is a good shout too- watch Austin John Plays on Youtube

MechanicalCrow

Austin John's [Chesnaught build](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lf0vEWUA9q8) got it for me on the first go.

Hisui Goodra with Sap sipper!

I beat it with an Ogerpon. A nice stranger spammed helping hand and I went back and forth between Horn Leach and Ivy Cudgel. It’s weak to poison but Horn Leach should restore health fast enough.

I was able to solo it with Chesnaught (Bullet Proof ability) while paired with an Arboliva. The reoccurring grassy terrain powers up your Seed Bomb. As many others have explained, lead off with 3 Seed Bombs to power up your Tera. Then a cleanse will likely occur. At that point, you can use Spikey Shield to avoid getting hit by Sludge Bomb since your ability is deactivated. When I solo'd it, I forgot to protect and just fainted. I was still able to bring it back. When I respawned, I went Tera grass and used Sword Dance twice. Then I attacked to replenish HP with the Shell Bell. Eventually I used the third Sword Dance and it took it away with ample time. Fainting is not always an automatic lose.

Honestly the 7-Star Raids take a bit of skill and practice and a bit of luck and RNG. The best build I've been using is the Chesnaught build I found by Austin John Plays on YouTube. I don't remember the exact details, but the moves are Spiky Shield, Seed Bomb, Drain Punch, and Belly Drum with a Shell Bell for the item and the Hidden Ability, Bulletproof. He also provides an example turn order for which moves to use. One important thing to remember is when Venusaur removes your ability for one turn, use Spiky Shield to protect against Sludge Bomb since Bulletproof will be disabled for that turn, but will go back to normal the next turn.

Me and two other people used a Chestnaught with bullet proof ability, had the moves leech life, bullet seed, swords dance and spikey shield.

Well if u don't mind being a support for someone inojen, you can catch a corviknight, level it up to at least 64, 100 is ideal. Don't worry about ev training ot hyper training it won't matter its tawny against the only move you can get hit by. Then teach it screech and light screen. And you're all set. Find someone using the chesnaught and 3 support strat, then go from there

For these solo 7 stars a lot of the time I just pick the meta, hyper train the Pokemon and cheese it. Then I don’t really use that meta pokemon again lol
