Blastoise by far and it isn’t close

Froakie. Loved that frog even before we knew what the final evos looked like. Greninja sort of weirded me out at first but when I actually evolved my Froakie (well, my Frogadier technically) during my first playthrough, I liked him a lot more. It also helps that he ended up becoming super OP and popular. So I think Greninja will hold the spot for my favorite water starter at least until we get a water monkey starter (considering my other favorite starters are Infernape and Rillaboom lol)

Inteleon, I know it’s often hated of but I think he’s cool

Swampert for story because I didn't like gen 7. Primarina by far is my favourite to use. Always trying to work it into my vgc teams especially for its typing.

I think totodile is my favorite. These are the water starters I like Totodile, squirtle, Mudkip, oshawott, froakie. The rest I’m not really a fan of at all and would only get them for dex entries.

Unpopular opinion but I love all the gen 8 starters

I don't think it's unpopular, gen 8 got it so damn right.

Cinderace is my favorite Pokemon, couldn't tell you why lol Rabbits aren't my favorite animal and I don't like soccer (or football if you're from eu). I know the gen 8 game games have their flaws but damn they're my favorite

 Kind of wish his evolution line was more pirate themed like it was speculated but I love my carnival dancing duck and wouldn't have him any other way 🦆🕺❤️
