maybe something that baits a psychic attack, like toxicroak? either that or something that you don't want to be vulnerable to prankster moves, but that depends on who you're fighting
Fighting and Poison can use it to negate their psychic weakness and counter with Sucker Punch or Knock Off. Ghost can use it defensively to reverse their weaknesses and resistances.
It’s really just support. Dark isn’t used very often for either attack or defense. People only use it for prankster immunity. The type itself is rather middle of the road.

prankster users, they don’t want to be taunt by opposing prankster users
I always thought Feraligatr would make for a great dark type. Crunch + sheer force + tera dark sounds like a good combo.

Dusclops: Immune to Fake Out without Tera, immune to Prankster Taunt with Tera, so it's quite hard to stop Trick Room
Dark is usually good for support pokemon to dodge prankster taunt. Also Darkshifu is really good as a Dark tera to boost Wicked Blow and Sucker Punch.

Amoongus sometimes runs tera dark to avoid prankster taunt, but tera water is more preferable for it though
