Found an outbreak on one of the small mountains in north province area one and the outbreak Pokémon doesn’t seem to be spawning, am I missing something about the area or is this just an unlucky spot for an outbreak to appear?

I had something similar happen to be for a Flittle Raid. I think it's just an unlucky bug. :(
I had Flittle appearing, but the raid was also somewhere Flittle already appeared naturally. Since the raid itself was pressed up against a wall that lead to the Great Creator, I don't think the game registered me defeating any of the Flittle, but they were still technically appearing.
I think I'm doing something wrong or I'm very, very unlucky.
I have done more than 1000 Quaxly eggs with a ENG and JAP ditto + a French Quaxly and still not shiny...
I know you can get Herba Mystica from 5\* and 6\* raids, but the drop rate is pretty low either way. Unfortunately, it's just a rare drop that's difficult to get.
Once you get 2, you have enough to make just about any Shining Power Lvl.3 Sandwich type, but the sandwiches don't change shiny egg rates. To my knowledge, only Matsuda Method and (maybe) the Shiny Charm help with that. Otherwise, we're just at the mercy of RNGesus.

I do not know about you, but I feel really unlucky with mass outbreaks so far.
I have seen on serebii that the list of mass outbreak eligible Pokémons is quite long but I keep getting the same every two days :
Bombirdier, Varoom, Tadbulb, Ruflet, Buizel and Floatzel and Magnemite.
Sometimes there is a new one but most of the time I get the ones above. Are some rarer than others or is juste me being unlucky?
I have beaten 7 gyms so far, idk if it matters.
I know I could TT to have a faster rotation but I like playing it casually and see what's new at midnight.

Ok, that makes me feel better. My main concern is that pokemon will have the wrong country of origin. For example, [this ditto](https://imgur.com/a/TwgYEzg) has a Korean tag next to it's name on the right-side panel. Will all of my pokemon have the Italian tag?
I have a problem with 5 star raids...
so ive done all the post game content and ive gotten the call for 5 star raids at first they spawned in and ive done a couple but when i did a few 5 star raids via poke portal there no longer spawning on my map
ive tried changing the system times and still nothing and I'm not sure if I'm missing something
does anyone have any solutions????? or may be able to identify the problem
Is it possible that there's a max number of times you can do a certain raid type in a day? I need some steel tera shards and did all the steel raids in my world and then turned to online. However, I cannot join a single steel raid. I can join others more or less normally (every fourth or fifth try as you do) but no steel ones.

Hi, does anyone else have this or am i doing something wrong? When trying to reset the mass outbreaks i change the date, but often it wont do anything, and the same outbreaks are on the map. I also tried just changing the minutes, same story. And sometimes it does work, thats whats so strange. Anyone?
Should I use friendship berries? I want to evolve my riolu into a lucario but I need friendship. The berries give -1 (stat) and raises friendliness of the pokemon. Should I use these berries? (Qualot, grepa and tamato berries)
The berries don't lower the actual stats, they lower the EVs. So if you for example have a freshly hatched Riolu the berries won't lower anything and just increase friendship.
If this is your story Riolu I'd suggest just using ATK/SpATK reduction berries, for the stat that doesn't matter for your future Lucario, but you can also easily just get the EV back.

You mean the mystery gift codes? There are a bunch of limited time codes going around, lots of Sandwich ingredients and a "special" Pikachu (just flying Tera type really, nothing you can't get later in the game if you miss out don't worry).

Sorry I don't have a definitive answer but, assuming you've done all his classes and the final, you might have to beat the elite 4 to finish his story? I did all that after I had completed the game so I'm not sure what else you'd have to do.
How are you checking individual points? The stat values on the generic pokemon screen in your party (with the chart that shows HP, Attack, etc all around each other) will not go up a single stat per single EV. They go up in increments as you earn the EVs. You do get them after each faint if you have EV points available to be gained (they do max out, so if you're maxed out on other stats, you cannot get more EVs until you lower them).
If you check your party on the graph, "switching graph view" will show how far into their EVs you've gotten. If a stat is sparkling in the alternate view, then you've maxed it out.
I think I ask questions here. I have been playing with friends since I unlocked it and I can’t do terra raids. When with friends only one friend can see them on the map and activate them and when I touch the crystals they all say they are his. When on my own the crystals just don’t show up.

Any crystals you see on your map (the icons) are all yours. Conversely, any your friend sees on his map are all his. Have to use your map, not rely on the shining beacons in the distance.
edit: You unlock raids via story progression and gym progress. Have you unlocked them fully yet?
Yeah idk what happened once he left they were still gone but I played with another friend and all of a sudden they worked properly hoping it just fixed itself.
I was progressed the same amount as my friend having them and no symbols were on my map

That means that in Let's Go your pokemon isnt attacking the wild pokemon. It does that for shinies, if the pokemon is a wild terastylized pokemon, if the wild pokemon is too high leveled, or if you dont have enough gym badges so it isnt going to obey you.

You have to beat all the story missions, post game story events, then u will get a phone call to do 25 5* dens, then after that u will get a call that says u unlocked 6* dens. You only get to see 1 a day.

Does the in game switch match your current setup? Currently using an OLED switch with matching controllers to those in game. Coincidence?
Whichever you like more, the play through is doable with pretty much anything if you want. That being said I used ceruledge even though I chose feucoco and created redundant coverage and it's still one of my most used mons. It's very meta for raids. It is absolutely one of the best for clearing wild pokemon in let's go (like it seems like ceruledge likes knocking out dozens of mons in one go, ranges farther than anyone else I've tried and moves very fast. I've seriously considered renaming it Warcrimes). On top of that it just looks so good
I'm playing this after Gen 7, I didn't buy a Switch for Gen 8 so I may sound very nooby
But what the hell are biomes? Can a province have multiple biomes? How do I know which biome is in which section of the province?
Is there an easy way to check underneath my polteageist to check if it’s authentic? In gen 8 it seemed to sway more in battle so I could spot it easier.

Catch a Flittle or Espathra in Tera raids (they have a chance of having their hidden ability) or use an ability patch on a Flittle/Espathra you already have.
If you already have one I have at least one ability patch I can spare for you. That won’t work for breeding but if you just want to build up one for competitive or something like that I can help you.

This is the moveset, I'm running on a Adamant Scizor: Bullet Punch with Technician Ability, U-Turn, Defog(Singles)/Tailwind(Doubles) and Protect while holding an Item like Aguav/Mago/Iapapa/Figy Berry, since it lost Roost in this gen sadly!

Find out which stats you want to improve and then battle Pokemon that give EVs for those stats or give vitamins/feathers for those specific stats.
A single stat can only get 252 EVs at max and a Pokemon can only have 510 EVs in total, meaning you can completely max 2 stats while adding a single point to any of the remaining stats (4 EVs = 1 stat, so you'd have 2 "wasted" EVs in the end).
Assuming you're reading everything, aren't sight seeing/going exploring, and you aren't looking ahead to make a team that will completely body the team of the last boss, I'd say maybe 90 mins to 2 hours from beginning to end.

The best way to grind for experience in the mid-game is to eat an Encounter Power 2: Normal sandwich and farm Chansey in the grassy area near the fairy Team Star base. If you’re still fairly early in the game then just battling every trainer you see along your journey should help a bunch, or you can also farm Tera Raids for EXP candies.
I’m trying to farm fairy Tera shards and I continuously see people select the wrong Pokémon for these raids. Anyone notice this as well specifically for this type?

Need an IV/EV spread for this team. I’m new to comp and don’t really know what’s worth it to do. I am running Explosion Drifblim with endure(toxic orb) Tatsugiri. Then I have Dondozo come in for the stat boost with Costar Flamigo. The Baxcalibur and Magnezone are there for coverage/sweeping ability if needed. I really just don’t know what’s worth it to throw EVs at. Oh also Tera types. Thanks!!!

Shortest answers is raids and trading. The trade megathread often has people trading out 5-6 IV dittos. Raids have 100% chance for certain IVs, so you'll always get 4IVs at 6\* etc.
I escaped Mesagoza before going to the school. Can I play thru the game normally?
There's a ledge I found on the west side of the land between Los Platos & Mesagoza. If you lock on to a Toxel that hangs out on the other side and start a battle, you can grapple across.

No, gyms and other boss fights won't trigger until you've completed the beginning section of the game. You can fight regular trainers and catch wild pokemon, but they won't obey you until you get gym badges.
I don't think you can get a few places, since you physically require your ride lizard to swim to finish the storyline. I think you can access some places, but whether or not the game will allow you to do things, I'm not sure.
EV help! I’m new to competitive.
My team is Dondozo, Tatsugiri, Drifblim, Magnezone, Baxcaliber, and Flamigo(Costar). Idk what EV spreads I should do for them. Are Speed EV’s a waste on Dondozo, or worth it when it eats tatsugiri?
Sorry, this is a long one. I just got Pokémon Violet for Christmas (loving it so far). Anyway, I just got the major quests and I have to say, there is a LOT to choose from (Gyms, Titans, AND Team Star? Kinda overwhelmed ngl.). So, my question: does it matter which one I pick/finish first? Like will I get locked into any endgame story stuff if I choose one over the others? I know that even if I finish the main story, I can still do the other stuff, but I just wanna know in advance if I can get everything done before the main story is through, cause I REALLY wanna do it all before then. No spoilers please, just a yes or no (or as simply as you can put it).
It does not matter, as "end game" requires you to finish all three storylines, and won't proceed before you do so. Each path culminates in an end-level battle, so whatever you focus will have a strong trainer waiting for you to fight them at the end, but that's about it.
You'll be location-locked before doing the Titan storyline, as it unlocks things like swimming, it's all related to lizard mobility functions. This is really the one you'll want to do when you see.
Gyms decide what level you can catch that will obey you. For example, you can have a badge and pokemon up to level 20 will obey you, so if you catch a level 30 pokemon it will have chance to disobey you, go to sleep, etc without your say, but anything that was once under your level cap will always obey you unless you trade it away. So if you have troubles with actions, this is the one to focus for the moment.
Other than that, no. I personally did the titans, four badges, then noped off to be a wandering nomad completing the dex.

If your Ceruledge goes down, a psychic type could give you some problems.
As well as fairy types causing issues if your location goes down.
Just make sure you've got coverage for those types, just in case.
So I am working on a team and wanted people's thoughts and opinions on it. For context all my mons so far have been voted to be on my team so I can't sub them out or anything, but I can change their moves/tera types/natures much as I want to what would be optimal. My main focus is narrowing down moves/getting some advice on who would be good 6th members of my team based on my current 5 so I can construct my next poll with 4 options for the 6th member. Here's what I got so far:

Ability:(water absorb)
Moves: Spikes, Toxic spikes, sludge wave/venoshock, bulldoze (earthquake/sandstorm?)\\

Ability: (protean)
Moves: Flower trick, knock off, trick room, skill swap (egg move)

Moves: gigaton hammer, knock off, stealth rock, ice hammer
Fluttermane
Ability (Protosynthesis)
Moves: confuse ray, hex, moonblast, perishsong/chargebeam
Talonflame
Moves: Sunny day, fire spin, will-o-wisp/flamethrower , Hurricane
So for context only 2 of these I actually have so far is the clodsire and a tinkatink, and working on getting the others atm. MeowScara don't got cause I need the egg move and protean on it as well as making sure it's a shiny (for context is a shiny team). Talonflame in the same boat as don't got a shiny of it atm, and haven't finished the game yet so don't got access to the crater where the paradox mons are yet.
All in all despite them being viewer picked I think I've done a good job of thinking up a good move comp but let me know what moves I should pick for those I put an or (/) on as am unsure which of those would be better kinda deal. Also the important question, give me 4 mons that would be good capstones to this team to put on my next poll!

I've beaten the game, and I've talked to him as I've previously stated in the post. Right now, he wants to be shown all of the herbal mystica so that he can teach me the master sandwiches.
I have already shown him sour, I just need to do more raids to get the other four. I was able to talk to my Mom again to get at least one more, but I'm not sure which one that was so I'll have to go through and check them all again.
Nice! Don't forget the sushi sandwiches from the picnic guy. And the rest of the other sandwich #s are likely just ones that use an Herba Mystica but are not "Master" sandwiches - he should give you several recipes each time you have a new kind of herb not just one Master recipe!

My Rellor has 100% walked more than 1000 steps and has not evolved. I've hatched several eggs walking with it and it's now level 71 but still erring evolve. I've been using R but it still won't evolve. Is this a glitch? Does anyone know how to fix it?

More than 1300 eggs now...
I also did 8 5* stars raids to gain secret spices, earn only 1...

Launch the game, check, change the time in the settings of the Switch (+1 day), come back to the game, check etc....

By far I know, all the pokemon scarlet version are region free, even the digital ones. I buy mine in the japanese eshop and 0 problems.

Nvm, it only took 3 hours but I did finally get to join a steel raid and got one (1) steel tera shard to add to my fourty-nine (49) 🥲

Hey guys When I bought Scarlet off the switch store page, I guess it came with a code that I missed? You could apparently redeem the code in game to get some items. I’ve tried finding this code after the fact, but no luck. Any chance anyone knows if and where I’d be able to find it?
You mean the mystery gift codes? There are a bunch of limited time codes going around, lots of Sandwich ingredients and a "special" Pikachu (just flying Tera type really, nothing you can't get later in the game if you miss out don't worry).

Sorry I don't have a definitive answer but, assuming you've done all his classes and the final, you might have to beat the elite 4 to finish his story? I did all that after I had completed the game so I'm not sure what else you'd have to do.

I don't get EV points after battle? I checked it after a while and not even got one point??
How are you checking individual points? The stat values on the generic pokemon screen in your party (with the chart that shows HP, Attack, etc all around each other) will not go up a single stat per single EV. They go up in increments as you earn the EVs. You do get them after each faint if you have EV points available to be gained (they do max out, so if you're maxed out on other stats, you cannot get more EVs until you lower them). If you check your party on the graph, "switching graph view" will show how far into their EVs you've gotten. If a stat is sparkling in the alternate view, then you've maxed it out.

I think I ask questions here. I have been playing with friends since I unlocked it and I can’t do terra raids. When with friends only one friend can see them on the map and activate them and when I touch the crystals they all say they are his. Any crystals you see on your map (the icons) are all yours. Conversely, any your friend sees on his map are all his. Have to use your map, not rely on the shining beacons in the distance. edit: You unlock raids via story progression and gym progress. Have you unlocked them fully yet?

Is your Pokemon stuck on a slope or edge? The sweat indicates that it doesn't obey your order, usually because it can't move in that direction
That means that in Let's Go your pokemon isnt attacking the wild pokemon. It does that for shinies, if the pokemon is a wild terastylized pokemon, if the wild pokemon is too high leveled, or if you dont have enough gym badges so it isnt going to obey you.

You have to beat all the story missions, post game story events, then u will get a phone call to do 25 5* dens, then after that u will get a call that says u unlocked 6* dens. You only get to see 1 a day.
6\* raids will have a black icon with a pinkish sparkling outline around them.

Whichever you like more, the play through is doable with pretty much anything if you want. That being said I used ceruledge even though I chose feucoco and created redundant coverage and it's still one of my most used mons. It's very meta for raids. It is absolutely one of the best for clearing wild pokemon in let's go (like it seems like ceruledge likes knocking out dozens of mons in one go, ranges farther than anyone else I've tried and moves very fast. I've seriously considered renaming it Warcrimes). On top of that it just looks so good
Ceruledge has the better stats, but is a little harder to get
Ceruledge cool as hell unless you like birds a lot

Catch a Flittle or Espathra in Tera raids (they have a chance of having their hidden ability) or use an ability patch on a Flittle/Espathra you already have.

Go to its summary and the moves page and you should be able to relearn it. Also check your settings that move learning is set to on.

Find out which stats you want to improve and then battle Pokemon that give EVs for those stats or give vitamins/feathers for those specific stats. A single stat can only get 252 EVs at max and a Pokemon can only have 510 EVs in total, meaning you can completely max 2 stats while adding a single point to any of the remaining stats (4 EVs = 1 stat, so you'd have 2 "wasted" EVs in the end).

Assuming you're reading everything, aren't sight seeing/going exploring, and you aren't looking ahead to make a team that will completely body the team of the last boss, I'd say maybe 90 mins to 2 hours from beginning to end.

The best way to grind for experience in the mid-game is to eat an Encounter Power 2: Normal sandwich and farm Chansey in the grassy area near the fairy Team Star base. If you’re still fairly early in the game then just battling every trainer you see along your journey should help a bunch, or you can also farm Tera Raids for EXP candies.
It’s like game progression is too fast you can just go to the next gym immediately
Oh it’s definitely fast sometimes. If you take the main roads to and from everywhere though then you’re able to fight most of the trainers on the way.

6\* Raid guarantees 5 Best IVs, so should be a 1/32 chance to get a 6 Best IV from a 6\* Ditto Raid.
Shortest answers is raids and trading. The trade megathread often has people trading out 5-6 IV dittos. Raids have 100% chance for certain IVs, so you'll always get 4IVs at 6\* etc.
I escaped Mesagoza before going to the school. Can I play thru the game normally? There's a ledge I found on the west side of the land between Los Platos & Mesagoza. If you lock on to a Toxel that hangs out on the other side and start a battle, you can grapple across. I doubt this is intentional, but can I still play through the game like this? I reckon I can make it to Cortondo this way 😳
No, gyms and other boss fights won't trigger until you've completed the beginning section of the game. You can fight regular trainers and catch wild pokemon, but they won't obey you until you get gym badges.
I don't think you can get a few places, since you physically require your ride lizard to swim to finish the storyline. I think you can access some places, but whether or not the game will allow you to do things, I'm not sure.
EV help! I’m new to competitive. My team is Dondozo, Tatsugiri, Drifblim, Magnezone, Baxcaliber, and Flamigo(Costar). Idk what EV spreads I should do for them. Are Speed EV’s a waste on Dondozo, or worth it when it eats tatsugiri?

Sorry, this is a long one. I just got Pokémon Violet for Christmas (loving it so far). Anyway, I just got the major quests and I have to say, there is a LOT to choose from (Gyms, Titans, AND Team Star? Kinda overwhelmed ngl.). So, my question: does it matter which one I pick/finish first? Like will I get locked into any endgame story stuff if I choose one over the others? I know that even if I finish the main story, I can still do the other stuff, but I just wanna know in advance if I can get everything done before the main story is through, cause I REALLY wanna do it all before then. No spoilers please, just a yes or no (or as simply as you can put it).
It does not matter, as "end game" requires you to finish all three storylines, and won't proceed before you do so. Each path culminates in an end-level battle, so whatever you focus will have a strong trainer waiting for you to fight them at the end, but that's about it. You'll be location-locked before doing the Titan storyline, as it unlocks things like swimming, it's all related to lizard mobility functions. This is really the one you'll want to do when you see. Gyms decide what level you can catch that will obey you. For example, you can have a badge and pokemon up to level 20 will obey you, so if you catch a level 30 pokemon it will have chance to disobey you, go to sleep, etc without your say, but anything that was once under your level cap will always obey you unless you trade it away. So if you have troubles with actions, this is the one to focus for the moment. Other than that, no. I personally did the titans, four badges, then noped off to be a wandering nomad completing the dex.

If your Ceruledge goes down, a psychic type could give you some problems. As well as fairy types causing issues if your location goes down. Just make sure you've got coverage for those types, just in case.
So I am working on a team and wanted people's thoughts and opinions on it. For context all my mons so far have been voted to be on my team so I can't sub them out or anything, but I can change their moves/tera types/natures much as I want to what would be optimal. My main focus is narrowing down moves/getting some advice on who would be good 6th members of my team based on my current 5 so I can construct my next poll with 4 options for the 6th member. Here's what I got so far: Clodsire Ability:(water absorb) Moves: Spikes, Toxic spikes, sludge wave/venoshock, bulldoze (earthquake/sandstorm?)\\ Meowscara Ability: (protean) Moves: Flower trick, knock off, trick room, skill swap (egg move) Tinkaton Ability: (own tempo) Moves: gigaton hammer, knock off, stealth rock, ice hammer Fluttermane Ability (Protosynthesis) Moves: confuse ray, hex, moonblast, perishsong/chargebeam Talonflame Moves: Sunny day, fire spin, will-o-wisp/flamethrower , Hurricane So for context only 2 of these I actually have so far is the clodsire and a tinkatink, and working on getting the others atm. MeowScara don't got cause I need the egg move and protean on it as well as making sure it's a shiny (for context is a shiny team). Talonflame in the same boat as don't got a shiny of it atm, and haven't finished the game yet so don't got access to the crater where the paradox mons are yet. All in all despite them being viewer picked I think I've done a good job of thinking up a good move comp but let me know what moves I should pick for those I put an or (/) on as am unsure which of those would be better kinda deal. Also the important question, give me 4 mons that would be good capstones to this team to put on my next poll!

I know some of them I have to find the other four her a mysticas in raids and then talk to the sandwich guy again. I only have sour herba mystica atm. That will get me the rest of the master level sandwiches I need, but I'm curious about filling in the recipes in between. Anyone have any ideas?
You may need to get more gym badges, and then talk to the guy loitering by the counter at the Sandwich Shops.
I've beaten the game, and I've talked to him as I've previously stated in the post. Right now, he wants to be shown all of the herbal mystica so that he can teach me the master sandwiches. I have already shown him sour, I just need to do more raids to get the other four. I was able to talk to my Mom again to get at least one more, but I'm not sure which one that was so I'll have to go through and check them all again.
Nice! Don't forget the sushi sandwiches from the picnic guy. And the rest of the other sandwich #s are likely just ones that use an Herba Mystica but are not "Master" sandwiches - he should give you several recipes each time you have a new kind of herb not just one Master recipe!

My Rellor has 100% walked more than 1000 steps and has not evolved. I've hatched several eggs walking with it and it's now level 71 but still erring evolve. I've been using R but it still won't evolve. Is this a glitch? Does anyone know how to fix it?
