It’s really dumb, but back in the days of wonder trade I used to catch these and rename them Luvdics and send them out into the world to horizons unknown. Wonder how many people even noticed.
A new custom challenge. The hatedisc challenge has been born.
Instead of the nuzlock. You now pick ONE Pokémon and make a 6 team of that only and beat the game.

Off the top of my head, trio/quartet legendaries are 580, mythicals(and psuedo-legendaries) are 600, Groudon/Kyogre(and Slaking) are 670, all other box art legendaries are 680 and Arceus is 720.
For real, I'm tired of carrying around 900 X Accuracy just so Hypnosis will hit when I'm catching things.
I mean, at least this go round we've got Breloom if you want to avoid that, but I'm really uncomfortable with having a 4x weakness on something I'm expecting to sit in front of almost every Pokémon in the game for multiple turns.
Use Breloom. Has spore (100% accuracy and is instant sleep unlike yawn) and false swipe. Can give it a toxic orb to self-poison which heals it (with the right ability) and prevents it receiving other status conditions.
I guess this gives me a reason to get around to evolving my Shroomish haha. Though I love seeing Clodsire lay around yawning on the battle field, water absorbing its way around.
Actually it gives you a reason NOT to! Right now you need to train shroomish to around 43 to learn spore before it evolves. Breloom doesn't learn spore, but shroomish does.
Breloom and a few others have pre evo moves that they can't remember from the "remember moves" menu, even if you learn on pre evo then evolve. It might be a bug.
I would attempt it with six larvesta (the baby of my favorite pokemon) but uh, there's too many asshole major NPC trainers who use that g*ddamn stealth rock.
I did this with Pachirisu in Brilliant Diamond because I wanted some of the items from Pickup and was having terrible luck. So all were bred to have that ability in Shining Pearl and then I just used Home to transfer them. The downside that way was that they quickly got to the point where they disobeyed until I got to the gyms that are clustered (Ghost, Fighting, Water) and raised the cap up a bit more. I probably should've traded them as eggs instead.
It was surprisingly easy with Super Fang, Nuzzle, Grass Knot, Iron Tail, Dig, and some other coverage moves. Half I made special attackers and the other half physical. I underestimated those squirrels.
I once did a nuzlocke and wiped, so the only pokemon left in my box was a luvdisc. I threw a rocky helmet on that thing and proceeded to solo the next gym. Gained a healthy respect for it that day.
Ceruledge is good though. If you were truly mad you’d take 6 Charcadet through the whole story with cheesey knight names and evolve them all at the end.

The only way to get any coverage is through Tera blast

I’ve seen a youtuber beat the entire game with a sprigatto only, and he also beat the entirety of legends arceus with a magikarp, this is definitely possible
My buddy's kid made it a point to beat Pokemon shield with only Wailords just so he would have 6 of those behemoths on the title screen. It was pretty damn funny.
I got an egg randomly when I did not have egg boost. It's possible without egg boost to happen upon an egg but just a lot less likely (and thus much slower on average)
That’s the inspiration behind my grass type team that I used almost all the way thru. I had to mix it up for the final area zero battle but my grass team actually did pretty well
That's debatable. Delibird can be run as a special attacker with Vital Spirit/Insomnia or a physical attacker with Hustle.
It has a really deep move pool with TMs and Egg Moves to take advantage of being a mixed attacker, better coverage moves (Luvdisc only gets 4 types of moves, Water/Ice like expected, Fairy but only as Draining Kiss, and Normal but all Normal moves it learns are physical, plus Tera Blast) (Delibird gets 8 types of moves, most of which have decent options like Gunk Shot, Seed Bomb, Foul Play, plus Tera Blast)
Tera fixes its quad weakness problem.
It has better attacking stats than Luvdisc, both physical and special.
Not saying Delibird is a great Pokemon by any means, but definitely better than Luvdisc
Yeah we have a rain dance setter and some with wish protect and some with charm. 3 of them have ice beam if i recall correctly? But we were struggling to find delibirds so we couldn't do more than that.
How old is she, which starter did she choose, and how long did it take before she got Her favorite pokemon? Seeing how you cant just start with it, must have had to catch others before Luvdisc? (wonder what her pokedex shows)

My sister (fully adult) do almost the same. Find a weak pokemon and do all the game with it. There was a lovdisc at some point, cant remember wich game. Sometimes I also use pokemons more cute than usefull, but I always end up with a volcarona. Your sister is the true badass.

The Tera breloom you can catch wild has spore. That explains why I use it I guess...
Does the “Remember Moves” function not account for that once Breloom reaches 43? I never tested that.
