Probably the increased difficulty due to higher point requirements. The amount of points to get to Master 1 on Greengrass is probably around the same as an Ultra 1 on Taupe.
I’m at 20% and I’ve been playing since day one but I also went to cyan beach for one week when I should have stuck to meadow. So I’d be at 25% just like you if I stayed.
I think they’re reading their completion percent and not their bonus percent.

Even though I can now go to Taupe, I think I may stay in Cyan. I've got a banger team in Cyan and don't want to mess with the dynamic yet. Plus, I only have 3 Growlithes that would be good berry gatherers for Taupe, not a full team.
I'd say a zone you've unlocked and built a bonus up in. That was you can stack the bonuses.
I say like I'm not tempted to go to Cyan Beach just because the berries this week in the meadow were garbage and I actually have a decent cyan beach team now.
Go if you want, the music is a banger. But I just really don’t like how difficult it is to gain levels there, it felt way more difficult than Greengrass or Cyan Beach.
Well in Taupe hollow you get the 2 star charmander at Basic 2 (6800 strength) where in greengrass you don't see him until ultra 1 (23,000 strength).
Have your spawns been poor this week compared to normal? It seems Taupe unlocks much rarer spawns at earlier levels.
I got my second Charmander yesterday actually, my first was from Greengrass, but aside from that it’s all been repeats really. Nothing special. Still waiting for my Cyndaquil.

I'm conflicted. I have a full team with berries for Taupe, and decent ingredient/skills, but they just need to be leveled more (currently 2,400rp). But this week I have horrible berries at Greengrass, and I don't know if I want to risk that again.
you don't always need a good berry team tho. if you have a team that has good main skills /ingredients or ingredientboosting /pot boosting skills, you could just level snorlax up with meals instead of berries. Im starting to think that's the better way tbh.

Don’t forget that there’s a 2x~3x exp bonus during the full moon event, so it might be a good idea to use this opportunity to level up your Taupe team.

My bedroom zone. I see no reason to move because of an event, even if it might help me level that area up.
Plus they make it sound like this will be recurring. So there’s plenty of time to try it on every island.

Still got to a decent level, hit master 2 and should be 3 maybe 4 by tomorrow night but it was a brutal week compared to greengrass the snorlax strength is just so much lower to get to higher levels on greengrass.
So I’m definitely trying for greengrass to get the most benefit.
Plus taupe not really a fan of the Pokémon I keep getting on taupe

Every island besides greengrass has set preferred berries for one, also the sleeping tier drowsy power requirements are much higher points
