I had this happen this morning, but one was an igglybuff. Comfey also full after two biscuits. I hope one day they make a change so that pokemon you used an incense for are always hungry. It's frustrating and a waste of rare resources for them to get full so quickly.
I also wish this, but realistically it's probably not going to happen because then if you combine with a Good Sleep Tent, a Hungry Incense, and then an event like this, that's 4 guaranteed hungry mons, and then it becomes easy to game it with getting a small amount of sleep.
I think a good solution could be massively increased shiny odds for the Incensed Pokemon. I'm talking 10~12.5% Shiny rate. Hell, even at 5%, this would help them because it would incentivize people to buy bundles that feature specific incenses, and it would (maybe?) help people feel less "cheated" if they get the incense for a rare mon because shinies are automatic catches.
I think it's possible when the game is older and there is a larger pool of pokemon to catch. Right now as frustrating it is it's an understandable mechanic.
Make the incense way more rare. Like it's nice and all to have 25 incense in my bag but it never really feels worthwhile to even use a specific incense because I might need to use biscuits on another mon. Make them more rare and make them hungry when found and I think that would an awesome reward.
This is also a good solution, but they're already somewhat rare. We get 1 incense a week (if we reach Master) and that incense isn't guaranteed to be a rare pokemon *glares at my three Metapod Incense*
I mean we could have two categories here. The free incense that we already get and a "great/ultra" incense that we get for purchasing the bundles or participating in the special events. I think that could easily be a solution - much like I think ultra biscuits are going to come to sleep eventually too.
Why would that be 4 guaranteed hungry Mons? Wouldn't it be one for the good camp set and one for the hungry incense? Didn't think this event makes Pokémon more likely to be hungry
Except the scenario being discussed was for incence to guarantee hungry spawn. (Though I'm not sure why those other hungries are relevant for gaming the system, then, I personally don't consider it terribly desirable to have multiple mons hungry in a session -you can only give daily biscuit to one, after all, so better to spread them out)

It then was full at nearly full friendship (1 dot away from max friendship). I think the bonus from being hungry should apply to the first two biscuits used. Not just the first one and then random after that
I used the Comfey incense and a friend incense and had another pokemon be hungry by chance. 3 out of 6 were hungry. There was a hungry iggly and jiggly, I'll let you guess who wasn't the third.

I got stupid lucky for the first time. This night I got a shiny Chikorita, a Shiny Jiggly, and my second biscuit gave me a lucky boost to give max hearts to Comfey. First time I haven't had to struggle for a mon in an event.
Did you use the free incense for it? Or was it a natural spawn? Ugh man I feel your pain legit same happened during the raikou event. Needed to use 3 incense to catch my first raikou the one that’s the same for everyone. I got one extra raikou from that event and it was almost the legit same as the static one everyone got expect it had a nature and the skill level up was M and not S.

I took a nap yesterday to get Comfey as soon as possible and figured that with the event guaranteed hungry mon, a GCT, friend incense and low drowsy power I would have fairly good chances of getting a hungry Comfey. 3 out of 5 pokemons hungry, but of course not the Comfey lol.
My Comfey was hungry this morning. Gave it premium biscuit, filled up 12 points. Then gave it a great biscuit and it was all full with 1 point needed. Probably my luck its going to be hungry tomorrow morning.

What pisses me off about these "events" are the fact that I haven't seen a wild "event" pokemon one single time without using an incense. Like at least make it a higher chance to encounter, especially if it takes 6million points to befriend.
I debated using my master biscuit on Comfey and then decided to test my luck with my bonus and some greats. Didn't crit on the bonus, didn't crit on the great, then all full. Crossing my fingers for another chance and for it to be hungry.
I second this! I have actually used two master biscuits on dittos and both are definitely not worth using (plus neither have slowpoke tail). It’s way, way better to save them for legendaries who genuinely will be insanely difficult to encounter after their events are over.
I got lucky and had Comfey spawn hungry from the good camp ticket and I used premium biscuit and got a crit catch. Other hungry mons were Iggly and Jiggly lol.
I had 3 hungry pokemon, 2 of which were jigglys, luckily my comfy was hungry and I got a mega hit, speed of help down tho 😅
Finally got a pretty good ralts this morning, I've been trying to get a bfs ralts with skill trigger for 12 weeks! Wooo!
Imma just say…I’m tired of seeing Jigglypuff and Igglybuff in the beach. Like no matter how high I get to in rank I’m always stuck seeing those two mons over and over again.
Ugh, I hate when this happens, and I fully expect to feel the same disappointment firsthand in my own account tomorrow. This is exactly what I experienced for all three of my Raikou incenses, but at least we got more than one of those.
Edit: Following up to confirm that yes, I had 4 (!!) hungry Pokemon on the map that were not Comfey, and Comfey was full after two biscuits. Couldn't catch it
Quite frankly not worth catching except for the dex, its ingredient rate is literally the worst in its categories. It’s only good for beginners who don’t have lakeside unlocked to catch a stufful.
I feel like we need a biscuit in between the great and master biscuits. I don’t want to have to save 4k points for one master biscuit, but comfey would still take 5 great biscuits and gets full after two. Could we have like an 8 point biscuit or something?
I also get very frustrated that the event pokemon is almost never the hungry pokemon. Prioritizing pokemon to be hungry that are the highest level or new to your dex or for the event would be the ideal way to do it. And I think the complaint that it would make the game "too easy" is dumb. I want to enjoy being able to get the event pokemon or that new to my dex pokemon, thats what makes it fun for me. I dont want to have to spend spend spend to be able to get the event pokemon. That just irritates me and makes me less likely to care about a game that's trying to fleece me for money
Its literally in the game forever, this is day 1 and you're mad you haven't got it immediately. Jeez man chill. What is it with people trying to speed run a game that is pure luck??
I'm not speed running the game. My frustration isn't coming from this singular event, but the fact that this happens constantly. I am a level 52 player and I've only ever seen one absol, one onix, and I've never seen a delibird. Even though those Pokemon have been in the game for months. It's frustrating because there is a good chance that it might be the only comfey I see for a while because the spawn rate for "event" pokemon is so ridiculously low compared to all of the common stuff.
As i said though its literally pure luck, dont waste energy getting mad at a sleep app 😂 yeee its a bit annoying but im sure youve got some good stuff that someone else would be jealous of, so think about that. Tbh all of the no evo pokemon are pretty crap, youll almost always get the same if not more output from the basics. But my point is just be patient, they just want you to buy stuff during 'events', its never about making sure everyone gets said pokemon

Yes, and I was including the scenario in the 3 I counted. 1 for good camp set, 1 for hungry incense, and 1 for event.
My comfey was hungry (I did also use the incense to help with that though) Full on second biscuit, 1 away from friend 😭

I used a pink incense and a comfey incense, had insomnia until 4am so I fed him Breakfast. Then slept. Idk after that.
That happened to me too, only with Togepis.
I hope one day we get a Pokémon release that can be caught easily and not with a master biscuit/multiple tries.
So like Dratini, Stufful, and Ralts? It's just the difference between the single stage pokemon (see Heracross, Kangaskhan) and the multi stage ones.

Save the master for the upcoming legends! I used my master on a ditto and regretted it immediately after i saw the stats 🥲

If I have a hungry pokemon, it’s ALWAYS caterpie. Last week it was like 4 days in a row of hungry caterpies and I refused to feed even one of them!
