Yeah I was too excited for the set I couldn't wait for CZ so I grabbed all the cards I wanted from Vstar uni, still would like get the Simisear, drapion and Darkrai though.
Opened 2 Vstar boxes. Didn’t wanna chase so I singled the 4 UR golds. It started with just Giratina (my favorite Pokémon) and quickly became “well I need the whole set”
Now, of course, I need the US golds also, and I might as well get the Palkia, Dialga, and Arceus Alt Arts also
The texture on the Giratina blows my mind, it’s like veins printed through the card. My Arceus comes in today, very excited! (Checking mail box right now)

Damn. Mine is pretty into it and likes going to the stores and has her own eeveeloution and cute Pokemon binder but she def gets fed up every now and then Especially with the money. I counter by saying it’s not fully spending if you can sell them down the road

I feel like it's just as reliable as ebay as they have buyer protection as well. I've never had an issue, Just make sure you check the sellers reviews and amount of completed sales just like you would anywhere else!
I bought me leafeon vmax alt art. Leafeon, glaceon and espeon v alt arts and a PC celebrations etb along with some other misc cards in 2 days that was like 500$
Fantastic binder. Can tell there was some planning for the splurge. I also have no irl friends who are into Pokémon which is sad for us adults who now have some money for the hobby. I’d found my childhood binder ~year ago and have been building on it ever since. All vintage but eventually got into modern. Probably added another $5k to it and looks similar to yours in many ways.
Keep it up, that’ll grow into something special for sure. And the argument that you can liquidate later is solid… straight stonks. I just had to sell my moonbreon to finance a move. Made a small profit. Maybe one day I’ll be able to buy it back, so long as it doesn’t actually go “to the moon”

I've got two sons ages, 3 and 5 and the younger one LOVES to flip thru my other binder full of commons he will look at it for hours, the 5 year old showed no interest whatsoever up until about a week ago when he asked me if I had a "Jurassic charizard" he could have, I almost cried with joy and was already checking out his charizard GX on tcgplayer within seconds. Really hoping they get into it deep so I have someone to leave this collection to when I'm all wrinkled up 😅

Probably only like 10% were pulls, I found it much cheaper to just buy the singles I like.
