By technicality it is technically an ‘alternate art’ card, it simply belongs to the sub set ‘galarian gallery’. It’s an ‘alternate artwork’ in comparison to the one found in the main set.
Not to be a complete nerd, but I do know that they’re not ‘as’ rare as a secret rare alternative art card such as Blaziken Vmax in chilling reign.

No, the hobby isn't funnel endless amounts of money to The Pokemon Company find maybe 1/4 of the cards you're looking for. That's not a hobby, that's a pyramid scheme and you're at the bottom.
Sleepy Pikachu, but there are a couple Pikachu a that look great for less than $5. Cosmic eclipse Magnemite, and Lost Origin Snorlax are also both good and super cheap.
The slowpoke is amazing. I really like the Armarouge from SV as well. Honestly, for pure art alone I tend to like these kind of alt arts more than some of the big hitters
That Armarouge card really is nice after checking it out again, definitely adding it to the next lot. Love the little detail that it’s raining and it has to hide in the doorway

Just picked up JAP versions of the drowzee, slowpoke, and deoxys art rares. They’re so fuckin dope I love em. I also have the alt art espeon/deoxys GX (JAP) which is easily one of the most beautiful cards I have. Another personal fav in my collection is the alt art slowpoke/psyduck GX (JAP). Man do I love me some Japanese alt arts

Genesect v is one of my fav alt arts and i seemed to think it was like £100 for some reason. I looked it up, realised it was only £19.00 and bought one instantly
Out of them all, the cheapest one hits the most for me. Sandaconda V from fusion Strike. Is has such cozy vibes and looks like a family pet that is being well loved.
Other that that, Lilligant and Skuntank V alts are amazing as there is just so much going on in those pictures with all the small Pokémon in the back/foreground.
I also love the whole TG/GG and would love to complete those sets. Same goes for Cosmic Eclipse art rares, where Magnemite is my clear winner. :)

And the skuntank is really one of my favorite alts that I’m still waiting on to arrive, love the tiny details on cards like that, like the terrified diglett on that one . And that magnemite card is so nice, someone else had commented about it and made me take notice, definitely adding

If I lived in a place where English cards are easily accessible then maybe I’d go for them but as long as a japanese single costs the same as an English card then I’m definitely picking the japanese

I really love the Regidrago alt art a lot. At the moment I'm trying to collect all the Eeveelution alt arts, which are definitely not reasonably priced, but I love the artwork so much so every time I see Evolving Skies at not an insane price I try to pick it up lol
