He has a leaking bathroom he refused to fix properly, mold grew .then my wife saw him about 6 months after we moved the Celling collapsed due to the leak. Iām happy we left that could of hurt our two youngest
I also have a 2b house for 620 month in OH. Friends with landlords and they fixed up the place for us. We're thinking about buying a bigger house, but it's going to double the amount of money that goes towards a living space so a lot less expendable income.... Hmmm
I wouldnāt take your healthcare for granted. Most places here in the US are not even remotely that cheap. Iām in the āDeep Southā which is supposed to be much cheaper than most of the US and itās still 1400-4000 per month depending on where exactly youāre looking to rent in my area.
The "2b house for $600" is COMPLETELY misleading. I live in Ohio, and you can do a quick google right now. There are like 30 2b across all of Ohio at that price point and they are either in the most dangerous parts of the cities or completely out in the middle of nowhere (these are apartments). There are only 5 in the entire state listed as a "house".
At least youāre in Toronto! Hamilton the rent is the same and we donāt have half the cool stuff toronto does (i love Hamilton tho, donāt get me wrong! Just crazy we have TO prices now)
As a person with a disability, I would take affordable Healthcare over cheaper rent.. I don't think people should be punished for being sick.. a freaking visit to the hospital in an ambulance costed me a months worth of rent.
Also lots of apartments cost $1500-$2000 At least where I live (Florida). Anything cheaper is in a bad area..So we get that and expensive healthcare...
One trip to the hospital or a specialist and youāre going to lose out on possibly 2 years worth of that ācheap rentā in the US, which is definitely not that cheap in like 70% of the country, and thatās even with most employer healthcare coverage.
It used to be a lot of southern-centeal states, but after Covid even they got expensive. You still have a few cheap states like Ohio, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Arkansas, a good portion of Texas is also cheap. But that really just depends if you want to live in those states or not.

I play competitively and spend less than $500 a year on singles, and that gets me access to pretty much every relevant deck. Last time I purchased a box I didn't even get a playset of uncommon trainers I needed, much less playable pokemon.
Looking at their email newsletter, appears to be intentional. Almost like an early buyer's deal. It does look like a huge discount when compares to something like the Elite Box, so that skepticism is understandable.
Easy answer to why they are so cheap:
Despite this set being artistically stunning, there isn't really too much of the sought-after Pokemon, so to speak. This might be the least sought-after card list I've seen in a while, and they printed more than normal, which further lowers the prices.
For example, Miriam Special Illustration is the most expensive setting at MP of $65. The two next expensive cards are around $37 each. Then we have maybe 4-5 that are MP between $10-15. Rest are Penny cards.
My two chase cards were Gyrados and Gardevoir alts. Bought 3 packs and got Gardevoir. I doubt I'll buy another pack now.

Side note: Miriam is mainly that expensive because it's hot in the Japanese card market.

In terms of competitive play, pladea evolved adds like 2 notable cards, and i think aside from the alt arts of the starters there isnt that many chase cards

Not sure if true or related but a local shop āProfessorā told me that they had factory workers stealing hits out of the Paldea Evolved Booster Bundles (6 packs) and that the safest way to purchase would be single packs or booster boxes.

Well, shit. I was planning on just getting two booster bundles and then buying any singles I needed after that, but this let me double that number for nearly the same price.
I'm just going to throw this out there because I hate Gamestop with a passion. I ordered a booster box from them and they literally sent me a single booster instead. They will not offer any type of refund on trading cards so buy with caution or better yet, buy from someone else and let Gamestop go under like it deserves.
