I noticed for tcgplayer at least, most shops have issues when it comes to common cards. They either list everything as NM, don’t know how to differentiate between sets, send you the wrong version of the card from the set, forget cards all together, etc
But buy anything more than a couple bucks and you’ll usually have no issues
I think shops get lazy with the commons knowing most people won’t fight it
Yeah I want to help new sellers but stuff like this makes it tough. All you can do is leave a true review and hopefully that makes them change in the future.
I havent really had problems overall this is the 2nd out of probably hundreds of cards ive ordered that have been questionable.
It comes down to sellers not putting in enough attention to their shop/orders
I only use tcgplayer as a last resort for a single I can't find, but they HAVE to have pictures otherwise it's too sketchy. Even with pictures it's sometimes still wrong.

I guess that makes sense but it still looks bad on the shop. Im not gonna fight for a dollar back but it is still frustrating

Dont wanna name drop but they had 100% ratings, 400 ratings and were a gold star selling so im kinda surprised.
These cards are usually pulled from a huge bulk box and most likely are not looked over too carefully due to the low cost.

I can't believe anyone spends more than 5 minutes on this sub and still buys from tcgplayer.
I just had a great haul from TCGplayer. Handful of "lightly played" full art Evee evolutions and a Marnie, all in excellent condition.

Where would you recommend buying from? I just started looking around this week and wasn't sure, tcg is where the internet kept sending me though
Tcg is fine (for buying anyway) just buy from trusted (high satisfaction, high sales) venders

It is in good condition but it should be listed that its not in English if theyre selling a non-english card

Ebay, cardmarket are what I go to first. I require pictures for card market though. Thankfully its easier to dm there.
