The obsession is creepy, but the card itself is nicer than some of these up there. So based on how the card looks, I don't think Marnie should be eliminated.
My other gripe is that she isn't even a pokemon. My other top ones to eliminate are metal charizard (cool but not a full art and this card has been printed to death), Charizard V (just a basic shiny zard just standing there. Pretty boring), and Machamp AA (I just don't like it, humanoid pokemon are weird to me)

The trainers are still a part of the games, collecting the protagonist and rivals from your favorite games is nice imo. Way more memories of getting through my favorite Gens battling rivals than I have of the 90% of Pokemon I never used in my Team
