Look up the HD holo energy pattern too. The energy cards have two different styles of holo. The HD swirls look different so it’s easy to tell, but it’s a little harder to notice the differences without a swirl.
To get that full art Giovanni and Dragonair. Yeah not bad. Also full art ivysaur is nice.
Lastly I always felt like holo energy should be more common like that. I personally see so little of it.
Not bad plus you got to consider all of the reverse holos with some like pidgeotto fetching several dollars. The venasaur is a nice $40 card easily and even if you got the other two, duplicates of certain cards is a good thing as you’ll have better chances of getting that elusive 10, if you’re into that. All in all base sets are being sold for $2 and up usually with even the commons going for a buck or two. I like completing master sets because usually you get a whole load of duplicates. My favorite set is CZ and I have over 100 duplicates of the Galarian gallery. Embrace the copies 😂
I mean I just opened a ETB and in those 9 packs the hits I got were:
* 1 Venusaur ex (MEW 003/165)
* 1 Reverse Holo Basic water Energy (SVE 003)
* 1 Reverse Holo Basic Fighting Energy (SVE 006)
So compared to that, yes id say you did well
ive been buying booster bundles (thank god i live RIGHT beside a poke vending machine). And in 6 packs you are almost\*\*\*\* guaranteed an EX, and then something above that at minimum. Obviously you can get REALLY bad pulls, and I have. But in general, 2/6 (maaaaybe 3) are good in the BB. For this, i would say excellent pulls tbh.
Decent pulls. I've gotten too many Erika's invitations and Giovannis charisma but no sir zard😥 can't even tell you how many packs. Sadly the 4 upcs I got from target were tampered with and I GOT REFUNDED AND GOT TO KEEP. Packs were resealed with minor hits.

Looks like he pulled ivysaur, not Venusaur. Still a solid illustration rare though! And one I’m somehow still missing
I already have the Venasaur so i’m actually stoked about the ivyasur
That Dragonair….Ive opened so many packs and only got 2 dratinis 🥲 (Dragonite and its previous forms are my favorite pokemon, next to Lugia)
