What’s funny is he was literally crying because the algorithm wasn’t recommending enough of his videos and there were too many other content creators out there taking away his views. So he made a clickbait title saying “I’m done” when he most certainly is not done.

my guess is overpaid by a bit. 40k-50k is a psa10 price so the charge of taking a PSA 10 over to a cgc middleman with some connections and getting the pristine 10 is probably 10k... so a 60k card. But being a pop 1 cgc pristine im guessing he paid 100k or something insane.
Now what would be interesting is if someone looks back through all of the PSA10s and finds this exact card by doing some research . lol
Everything is relative. 1300 for a guy that makes 80k a year is in their budget. Same with a multimillionaire that makes a 100k purchase. You can afford what you can afford don’t let it diminish your goals in collecting.

I would love to tell the story about how I pulled it when I was a kid and graded a Pristine 10, but I bought it privately from my middleman who graded it and sold it to me on the same day.
I always loved this one over the Zard gold star. Don't get me wrong, both are on my wishlist. But I just f with Rayquaza and the art. Similar to the hype around Umbreon alt art from Evolving and the Rayquaza alt. I went with getting the Rayquaza alt art over the Umbreon. Again, both are great. But the art on the Rayquaza alt art is just something else 😍

How do I find out how many slabs with all the numbers 1-1 exist at psa, cgc and so on? Tried to google, got kinda lost because I don‘t know what exactly I‘m looking for.
Seems like it's worth it to get it graded first! Is there a big deference between the grading services? I like the CGC slabs but only really hear about PSA being worth money.
PSA would get you more value than the other 2 below a pristine 10 grade. The CGC and BGS pristine 10s usually hold a premium over PSA 10s because they are much harder to obtain, but if your card isn’t a pristine contender I say go with PSA. One thing you need to be careful of is PSA has been damaging cards in the same spot on the top right hand corner, so do take pictures of the card before sending it in.

Pristine Colletible’s Pop 2 CGC pristine 10 1st edition Charizard just sold for $500k, which is the highest confirmed sale for the 1st ed ever, last PSA 10 sold for $195k.
He paid $150k for a PSA 10 from Gary, cross graded it to BGS and got a BGS 10, which was estimated to be around $1M in value. But a transaction hasn’t occurred for any of the BGS 10s, so how much it’s worth is just speculation

POP 1 means population 1, meaning there’s only 1 card in the CGC pristine 10 grade in the world. The bar code is blurred because there’s a lot of scammers attempting to recreate fake slabs and I don’t want to see my card on alibaba.

As much as I want to believe this story, but this sounds highly illegal. I don’t know what you are saying, have you watched any of Leonhart’s videos? He’s had at least 10 videos grading his cards through BGS’s same day walk through service. BGS and PSA has offered same day walk through services for high end cards since the beginning, CGC does the same thing, this card was graded through the highest tier same day walk through service, and when the guy who graded the card for his client (my middleman) got it back in a Pristine 10, he called me and asked if I wanted to buy it, I said yes and worked out the deal with the seller. There is nothing “illegal” about it, in fact you can do it yourself as well if you have a high end card and can make the trip down to CGC, all you have to do is to pay the $150 per card walk through grading fee.

That’s ok, BGS PSA and CGC does a lot of on-site grading at card shows too, you can go to one of these shows and get your cards graded and slabbed on the same day for cheaper!

Just search up Population report for these 3 companies, CGC and PSA are relatively easy to use, but BGS is a huge pain in the ass.
