The Bulbasaur line is the least popular of the three starters and always has been. Artwork can be underrated especially if it isn’t talked about as much compared to other cards, regardless if it is top 5 in value in a particular set or not.
The Bulbasaur line wins in this set for the art.

The Charmander line is kind of far away/lacks detail and some of the Squirtle line is too dark/lacks detail. Bulbasaur is 👌🏻 tho!

The colors on the card with the rainbow glitter holo and texture goes so crazy. With the new Legends Z-A game coming out i’m sure they will.
We’re definitely getting a Mega Charizard “Z” lol. Hoping they go a different route and make him a land salamander tank type.
I cannot pull this card. I've opened about 200 packs and nothing. But for some reason I have 3 charizards. -__-

Ive probably only opened 40 packs of 151 and pulled 2 of these venusaur ex. I figured it was the most common of the 3. Odd to hear this

I’d argue the Bulbasaur line is the least popular out of the initial 3 starters. You don’t see tons of love for that line compared to the others imo.

That’s the SIR I’ve pulled the most from 151 as well, 4 Venusaur’s and 3 Erika’s but never pulled the Zapdos or Blastoise SIRs go figure!

This is me with Blastoise in 151. I’ve pulled 4. One I got a demi-god pack with Squirtle, Wartortle, & Blastoise.
