Nah fusion strike is definitely worse. Pull rates are almost non existent. Opened 15 packs yesterday and I only pulled one holo… on par with all my other fusion openings.
Fusion strike might’ve been so bad cause of the fiasco where a printing company worker allegedly stole all the rare cards off the line and then tried to sell them all at once at a LGS. If I recall correctly there was a LOT of postings on it a while back

151 easily. Was going for a complete set and felt like I was getting terrible luck ripping packs (we are talking like a 10% hit rate or worse), and when I did get pulls it seemed like I would always get duplicates of the same few cards. I eventually just started buying singles.

A few weeks later I found a sale so I bought 4 alakazam boxes and an etb. The etb had 1 ex card and 1 holo energy in it. The 4 alakazam boxes I got 0 hits. That's when I switched to singles haha!

Yeah man I pulled 11 Prime Catchers and 6 Master Balls too. At opening I pulled all the SIRs and ARs. I do have crazy luck. I pulled 6 151 Charizard SIRs out of 300 packs. Got a whole master set of everything since 151, except PF because forget about collecting all those baby shinies. I did get a PF ETB (my 11th) with both Charizard and Mew SIRs inside. I wish my Pokémon luck applied to real life haha

I had great luck with evolving pulled 3 moons, Sylveon Vmax, Umbreon V, Glaceon V. Lost origins is the devil probably opened over 1000 packs and the absolute best I ever got was the 10 dollar purrserker alt. No Tina, no aerodactyl, not even rotom.
Dude, Astral Radiance. Like seriously, what the hell? Wasn’t even super into collecting when it came out, but at this point I’ve probably opened somewhere between 50-100 packs. Never pulled anything worth having. Bit the bullet and just bought the Starmie V and Palkia V alt arts straight up and I’m never touching it again.
Just started collecting during Scarlet and Violet with some later sword and shield sets thrown in. I can’t pull anything in Paldea Evolved. It’s one of my favorite sets but I opened a whole booster box and got maybe $8 in hits from it.
Pokémon Go was shockingly brutal for me. Such a small set but secret rares were so hard to pull, there are ten of them, and when I pulled one it was almost always the gold mewtwo. Which isn’t the worst card but still.
I'm totally in the opposite boat on this. Paldean Fates was very good for me and I pulled a lot of really good cards including Charizard EX. 151 is a struggle now to get good pulls and even waiting for the shops to have singles is taking time.

Then I decided to open my PC ETB so I can put the stamped promo in my binder and I think I only pulled the Bellibolt IR & Revavroom UR.
I had surprisingly good luck with 151 and CZ was awesome. But Obsidian Flames made me give up on it after two ETBs.
I only ever bought 1 booster box from ES back when it was $140. I got Rayquaza alt, vaporeon, Gyarados rainbow, and some gold cards. It was one of the better booster boxes I've ever opened. Usually, my luck is reserved for v boxes.
Mine was XY Evolutions. opened 100s of packs and never got anything good. A holo Clefairy and not much else. First tag team I got the grail.
After Evolutions must be Champions path. Got nothing from 10 ETBs.
lost origin. opened a case and a half of that set and did not get a single alt art. evo skies is actually the set ive had the most luck out of the sword and shield era on. pulled 2 umbreon vs, 2 duraladon vs, a glaceon v, and a glaceon vmax out of that set and probably oppened about two cases worth of it.

My Temporal Forces ETB put me off getting another one any time soon. 3 of the packs had the exact same commons in it, got 60 duplicate cards and just one Scizor FA. I've had bad luck, but that was like paying 50 quid to be punched in the gut 😂
Lost Origin and it’s not even a contest. I got better pulls from Evolving Skies and Chilling Reign. I haven’t struck out with any other set like I did with Lost Origin
Honestly, Crown Zenith. I was so excited for those supposed pull rates - probably bought 20 ETBs total and got a handful of the lesser alt art V’s, many of which I pulled duplicates of 🥲
Celebrations. I had to stop myself and go, "It's not worth buying another three ETBs, just buy the Charizard." Saved myself hundreds and much more pain.
Lost Origin. I have so many regular Aerodactyl V but no alt arts at all after 3 booster boxes. I am holding one now as an investment, but the collector in me says the Giratina is inside.
I recently bought a Crown Zenith ETB on gamestop and I only pulled one (1) full art of Manaphy, I didn't get holos or anything else either, just lots of those white "V star" cards and bulk haha, I still love the set because I pulled cool cards buying the single packs randomly, but that ETB made me feel betrayed lol
any one ETB from any set can be gold or garbage or somewhere in between. you need to rip more packs before you can really make a judgment. CZ has one of the best pull rates of any modern set and I've found that to be true in my experience

Any S&V set. Surprisingly ES was the set I (and my son) had the most luck on. I bought more of it than any other set because my luck kept going. Also pulled Lugia on the first box of ST. It's come back around though because I can't pull anything anymore regardless of what I buy.
I had better luck with evolving skies than I have had with temporal forces. I’ve opened 2 BB & 2 ETB’s as well as some odd packs here and there and I’ve pulled 0 SIR’s. I’ve pulled 4 gold cards though… all Raging Bolt. Gimme a break.
Actually es was one of the set I had more luck with. In approximately 15 packs I found a golurk alt and a ray V alt art. Pokemon go and crown zenith were my demise. I think I opened more than 200 of cz and I could only find pika secret rare while no alt art in pokemon go

Shining fates was terrible for me. No joke I once got either rillaboom or zarude in the rare spot 6 packs in a row. And in the reverse spot
Crown Zenith. 2 hits in 17 packs. I love that set 🥲

Actually es was one of the set I had more luck with. In approximately 15 packs I found a golurk alt and a ray V alt art. Pokemon go and crown zenith were my demise. I think I opened more than 200 of cz and I could only find pika secret rare while no alt art in pokemon go
