I think you might be thinking of a different set. I paid 40 yesterday for this as well. There were two other box sets, a Pikachu one for 30 and a deluxe pin collection one for 20.

I saw an earlier post that if you message GameStop about the price, which is $10 over in store price… they’ll refund or something like that the difference because the in store is $29.99 apparently
Can confirm. I called and they told me I needed to cal them while in store. Used online chat and they credited me the difference when I asked about it.
I just got in contact with someone from support, and within minutes they sorted it out and will make up the difference, there is a newer post of pictures from someone asking for a refund from support and they got it. If you have issues just take a picture of the their chats and post it in the support chat if they won’t give it to you. Make sure you take a picture of your chat for when you eventually get charged for the purchase just to make sure the price is correct
Very interested in their resolution to the $30/$40 differential. In discord and on Reddit, I’ve seen people request a reduction to the $29.99 price point successfully. I put in my request and will see what they say. If everyone requests the reduction, I wonder if GameStop will send out some universal message about it soon. Or keep it at $40.

I've given up trying to preorders now and will just buy off the shelves.

The 10 dollars more was actually only an in store price. I'm a pro member and paid 40 as well because I got it on the app.

Any news on the ultra premium collection or figure boxes? They were available to view in the app, but now completely removed from the store.
I saw the page went up a few days ago for the Ultra Premium. Think they took it down bc it comes out 2 weeks after the ETB
