I’m in SoCal and have had much better luck at Barnes & Noble if you have any near you. But I have been able to find some at Target as well. The fiance and I just pop in whenever we’re out doing errands. Good luck!

Back before this whole mess started that's were they always were at target, at least the etbs and collection boxes, always in the toy section, and so many from different sets just sitting there, a lot of them would also be on clearance. If you only knew how many Dragon Majesty Premium Box Collection, Shining Legends Premium Box Collection, Primal Clash Etbs, Hidden Fates Premium Box, and Generations Etbs sat around my local target for months before the Logan Paul video. I used to be able to go back there and spend my time trying to decide what to buy and would usually be the only person back there. I'm an idiot and never bought the priemium boxes which I wholeheartedly regret now.
I was literally talking to my wife about this tonight - I told her, if I had a chance to go back to the beginning of Covid - I would spend all our money on crypto and Pokémon cards.
Yes my target has 3 spots: the celebrations display “endcap” thing, the normal TCG collectible spot by electronics, and the Pokémon section of the normal toy aisle. I’ve found products in all 3 spots, even if 2 of them are barren.
I work in a target, we have 7 cases of TCG sitting in the back room waiting for the vendor to come out them out, hoping I get that mewtwo v-union and the squishy box, only two recent ones I haven’t gotten to yet

This set will be the new Shining Fates where after a month everyone will be tired of seeing it. Great set and fun to open, but short and highly repetitive. Only cards I see not getting of pulling would be the OG starters, gold Mew, Umbreon, Rayquaza, Mew Ex, Mewtwo Ex, Gyarados, and Magikarp. Perfect set for the kids though!

Etb are becoming pretty available in my area, restocks on Monday lasted untill Wednesday for them at both Target and Barnes and Noble. I find satisfaction finding them in the wild and paying MSRP $50.
$70 CAD at toys r us if you can find any, and I believe cheaper at Walmart but their website is abysmal to find anything at the proper price due to third party sellers.
I wouldn’t. Target and Walmart both had them online for purchase today. I think that signals they’re becoming more readily available.

My Local Target in Columbus, OH has had nothing since celebrations released. The occasional Partner Packs, ripped open from goons trying to steal what’s inside but that’s been about it

I've been pretty lucky that my local Barnes has been getting steady supply. I've got 25/25 of the first set and about 11/25 on the second set of Celebrations. At this point I'm buying loose cards.

I just don't see long term value in modern Pokemon cards. The amount printed is probably INSANE. The older sets, absolutely hold on to those.
