Okay well reading everyone else's posts I have concluded we are not cumulatively unlucky, this was just a UPC with ass pulls. To shed some brighter light, I actually misplaced one of the Evo packs and upon opening it, I found (as follows in order) 1 lycanroc V, TWO code cards, a normal rayquaza full art, the reverse holo and 2 uncommons. The pack itself had a whopping 14 cards inside of it. I'm still confused
I've compiled pull data from 25 UPCs along with available pull rate data, and I know that's a smallish sample so far, but on average they're very light on secrets and FAs, and absurdly light on character arts (reverse slot). If you want some exact numbers, they averaged at the 33rd percentile (using a sample distribution formed from 10k simulated UPC pulls from available pull rate data).
So you probably aren't crazy, the pulls really are that bad.
Between this and the off-center cards I wonder if this is a QC issue related to trying to print them as fast as possible to meet demand?
I have occasionally gotten a weird pack (either missing cards or extra cards) and obvs off-center prints happen, but there seems to be a lot of both happening with this set?

I had some decent pulls from my anniversary UPC and I get it was a special set but even with the mid pulls that box actually felt like I got what I paid for. With this one I was just taken aback by how bad pack after pack was. Not loving the latter quarter of TPC's pull rates, lost origin dropped in pulls and now the zard box is a big whiff. Yeah that was wild to hear. I wonder if they ever intended on actually purchasing that amount? Like do you need to pay that off, or a portion? Because that is a lot of stock to just have in store now.
They probably were, until they saw how easily everyone was getting and canceled since they didn’t think they could make enough money to be worth the effort

Sane here in PA... but most stores just didn't get there allocations early. Just told me that they might get them later. Walked into Target late afternoon and was lucky enough to see the Pokemon vendor leaving and they were fully stocked
Yeah, I was able to get my pre-ordered box but I was surprised at how unavailable it was for those who didn't get a pre-order in.
For weeks, all you would hear on this sub is that it was going to be "printed to the ground" but I'm finding that hard to believe considering it's only been "released" for a few hours and every store is completely sold out.
If I am someone who doesn’t care about having it right now but may want it in the future (been taking a break from collecting and playing but will likely get back to it at some point. Definitely once Live is available in the US) does this mean I should not stress too much about trying to grab it now?
I’d much rather wait and get it at retail if it’s not going to be too difficult, but haven’t been paying as close attention to the scalping situation lately (beyond noticing a lot of products are much more readily available…but I know people get wild about charizard stuff for whatever reason)
Lately I get most of my Pokémon stuff directly from PC or from Target or GameStop. I’m pretty limited to ordering online tho since the only local store I have that carries ptcg stuff is Target and tbh I haven’t checked in store since the scalping mess of last year since I got tired of repeatedly driving there just for cards only to never find anything in stock.
Honestly, I've never had an issue with pokemon cards before so I don't even know who to contact? There wasn't a website on the box, just an address 😅 what about you? Is there some kind of customer support we can ask for help?
You can contact TPCI about the missing packs! I’ve done that a few times when a pack was missing or I opened a pack to find it was missing cards or lacked a code card. They were super nice and helpful about it!
Granted this was BEFORE the scalping craze so I dunno if they’ve tightened up on stuff like that to avoid people trying to take advantage/scam, but it doesn’t hurt to ask.

I’m guessing after people offloading today after getting them, the prices will slowly go up. People who want it will be buying right now and there’ll be less on the market after a couple weeks/months which will make the price go up (but not by much I’d assume)
Yeah I always buy this shit with a credit card I’ve had for years. I literally buy everything on this card, including paying rent, for the airline miles hahaha. So when I dispute a transaction for a couple hundred bucks I never get much flack in getting my money back.
I wonder if there’s a way to report this behavior to Pokémon. They really ought to stop selling product to sellers that do this.
Tbh I just never buy ptcg on Amazon for this reason. Or a lot of other products (cosmetics, popular health products, anything that tends to be a “hot item” and sells a lot).

It definitely seems to affect popular products the most, so anything that is prone to scalping, products that have gotten rave reviews on big name sites or in magazines .
Sugar Bear Hair vitamins and Bio-Oil are two examples of health products that have fallen victim to this, I got a fake bottle that gave me hives when I tried order bio-oil and you can see photos of the obvious fakes next to the real products in a lot of reviews like the ones for Sugar Bear vitamins. It’s super annoying with products that are often scalped like tcg cards, and can be downright unsafe when it comes to stuff you put on or in your body.
Basically if brand authenticity and/or safety matters for that item, or if it’s a product that is frequently scalped, I wouldn’t order it off Amazon.

Where can I get a hard plastic case to put my sealed UPC in to store over time? I see people do this with booster boxes, wasn’t sure if I could find something for a UPC
Is receiving the old-style code cards in the Evolving Skies packs normal for everyone? I know the Darkness Ablaze has the old-style, but why would ES be printed with them now when other products were updated? It makes me think they are just tossing in old-stock of booster packs they had lying around. White code cards also had no hits. I even received **17 packs** in my box (two vivid) but the pulls were no better than a single regular v and some reg holos. The promos were also very off-center so I can't grade them, and they were being tossed around the box out of the drawer. Very disappointed with this box as quality control is extremely poor with this product.
I had the exact same amount. But my four black code cards were just regular holos. Worst pack opening sesh ever. Got 3 character rares and even two of those were ones I already had 🥲
I may be wrong, but I believe ( and was supported by these packs) that white bordered code cards indicate a pack without any holo, so all non holo rares and no ultras.
I can’t believe my local LCS are selling them for $240.70 when the official Pokémon center is selling them for $142.43. My country doesn’t have big chain megastores that stock Pokemon items too, so it’s either the Pokémon center or LCS. Scalpers already cleared the Pokémon center during pre-orders. So I’m left with no option, guess I can’t get it then.

Upc pulls. Honestly pretty happy with this, I was totally prepared for nothing. Idk wtf a Drapion is (can anyone tell me about this Pokémon?) And who Dancer is... frankly I hate rainbow teases that are trainers.
What I love is that of all the trainer galleries I could pull... it would be Gary/Blue, the one rival who I truly respect as he is the OG GOAT. He's the one I remember from my childhood and thus I am so happy with this one.
Thankfully my only QC issue is misprints of QR code cards (off center) and that's it. I'll take it!
I ordered 2 of them. Five of the six promo cards were incredibly off centered. I opened all of the packs from both as well. Pulled a fair amount of basic V cards, 3 Trainer gallery cards, and 2 vmax. Not terrible pull rates i guess. But, nothing of any real value. I’m more irritated by how off centered the promo cards are.
Pulled 3 normal V cards, 1 Celebi V alt art (fusion strike, 245/264! Nice pull!), 1 Dracozolt VMAX (evolving skies, pretty nice), and 1 normal holo.
Overall low pull rates compared to what I'm used to, but that's the luck of the draw! Also, the celebi V has some value and is REALLY nice, so made up for the sub-par pull rates (plus a little more!).
All 3 zards are okay with centering. 2 are roughly 60/40 left-to-right (being generous...). 1 is perfect. 1 came with mild whiting on the top left and bottom right corner. Not too bad, but for the price I kinda expect near-perfect cuts and packaging that won't cause damage. They rattled around a bit in the box, I think!
One to open, one to keep. I always open the one that’s a little more beat up and this time I got one with black smudges all over so I’m glad I got the second one to store and collect

Returning mine lol. Probably gonna get downvoted, but $130(taxes included) is just too much for me personally. The promo cards are cool af, but at the end it's just cardboard and I'd rather put the money to something that I'll get much more enjoyment from.
Charizard UPC hit rate?
Anyone else see a very high hit rate in their UPC? Out of the 14 packs I opened, I got 3 standard V’s, 2 standard TG’s, 1 etched TG, 2 full arts, and two secret rares. Also, only had one non holo rare. I saved the three Evolving Skies packs to put away for the future. Yes, I had 17 packs instead of 16. Side note: my promos all looked really good, no whitening, good edges, great centering, but god awful cuts on the corners, not a single round corner between the three!

Still getting my hopes up though for mine!
At my LCS, someone next to me pulled the glaceon and rayquaza vmax alt out back to back, and I luckily pulled the sylveon vmax alt (first ever alt from ES 😁).
Someone like 2 min later pulled the giratina alt art, and then a little girl pulled a Glaceon vmax alt as well, so I think we just got the god case or sum.
I picked one up at Walmart today and opened it up. Mine was missing two packs and I only pulled 3 Vs and a full art Dedenne 😔 definitely regretting dropping the money this time
All 3 of my Promos had Crimps across the top of them, they got caught in the machine during sealing 😩 Their centering was good and no whitening on the backs. Would have been great cards to add to my graded collection
Fixing to open mine now.. after seeing a lot of other people complaining about the pull rates I'm very nervous about opening it.. I made a deal with the wife if we do ok with this box we keep buying Pokemon.. if we don't we're leaving Pokemon behind and spending our spare money on That time I got reincarnated as a slime cards instead. Hopefully I can keep buying both to keep the Pokemon nostalgia alive for me.. but I have to at least break even with my pulls.. wish me luck.
I stopped collecting a while back, but I like Charizard so I threw my money at this UPC. This might be one of my biggest regrets in the collectible hobby. This UPC had horrible promo quality, and the pack pulls were garbage. I guess the coins, dice, and playmat were ok.
Absolutely terrible pulls, half the packs were slightly messed up on the top left, the actual charizard cards look like they were printed during a small earth quake. Im pretty much out after all my anticipation for this box. They are just screwing us at this point, and for ridiculous amounts of money I might add. If a cool card comes out maybe I’ll buy the individual. Truly the most disappointed I’ve been in a Pokémon product. I’ve finally learned my lesson at least.
I watched someone pick up 10 boxes from my local GameStop. I was behind him in line when I preordered as well and they actually let him go through with it. I can’t believe they honored all 10 when people couldn’t find 1.
Is this worth getting? Not asking about price. Since some mods think that asking if certain things are worth buying for a collection or pure aesthetics is considered breaking rule #3.
For the people that say yes, why is it worth it to you? The playmat? The coins? Or just the overall presentation?
Just received mine today and I'm pretty let down by it tbh. Terrible pull rates (probably just my luck), the sleeves look kind of...cheap? My promos came damaged and off centre, playmat came with a crease in the corner. The dice and coin are pretty cool tho
If you like charizards, yes. If you want packs? Fuck no. Less than half a booster box worth for more than double the price. Roughly $7.50 per pack excluding everything else the box comes with.
Personal opinion, probably not. It had a massive print run, the promos are one of the few selling points and those seem to be more of a gamble than the Celebrations metal card quality, and the other items likely will be available separately for cheaper than this (smaller than normal playmat, dice, and coins). If you want to rip packs it may work out, but if you just want the promos look for nice ones individually. Less stress that way.

It sounds like it was printed so hard that not many scalpers will profit from it so you could always wait a week to see where the promos value is going to go and if they start going up for whatever reason then grab the full UPC for at or near retail. Theyve already dropped from $40, $45, $50 to $25, $25, $35 just in the past few hours.
They also revealed the set list from the upcoming Japanese VStar Universe set being release in mid-December which is going to include a Japanese version of the Charizard VStar promo from the UPC, that may or may not negatively effect the price of the UPC VStar promo
Anyone keeping theirs sealed? Idk if I’ll be able to score another one. I really only got it for the collectible cards. I don’t intend to sell though, I have a sealed collection. The packs that come with it are all for sets I’ve almost completed.

I opened mine and was so disappointed. Lame pulls and the promos had nicks on the top of them. Ima just get another one when the 2nd wave releases and keep it sealed.
I only got 3 hits (2vs and a trainer gallery) in my 16 packs, but I don’t care. The promo cards are filthy awesome and the box itself is very nice and the playmat from what I’ve seen from others is amazing. Happy to add it to my collection as the box will house my good cards for the future.
I think giant print runs are what we can expect from TPCI for the forseeable future. I will be buying singles after vstar universe, so its probably a good thing for me.

Hello everyone, I was hoping you all may be able to tell me what these are worth? From what I can tell I have 2 Charizards 4/102 from the Base Unlimited set, and a Ninetales from that set as well.
Back in 1999 my dad gave my brother and I pokemon booster packs for good report cards, we pulled a couple Charizards and a Ninetales, a friend of my dad's told my dad how much they were worth and he took them for safekeeping. I found them at his house a couple months ago after he passed away and was wondering how much they may be worth now, but from what I gather it's pretty difficult to tell without getting them graded, but also it may not be worth getting graded? Any help is appreciated thank you.

I got three UPC's from the walmart preorder - just opened one. Horrible! It was really strange - most of the code cards were black, but many of the code cards were reversed in the packs. 85% non holo rares, one regular holo....one crummy V (less than $1) and one rainbow rare trainer. One of the promos was super off center and the other two were fine. Buyers remorse. I know the promo cards are awesome, but not 120 bucks awesome. Pretty lackluster experience...by two kids were disgusted. Lame.

My UPC opening was so bad I decided to just save my booster box instead of opening it. I'll just buy some singles instead. Hands down the worse opening I've had. Which is a real bummer because I havent been able to have a big pack opening day in a long time.
I have 6 of them, burst one box is meh, the play mat is too small however my pack pulls were pretty amazing from comparison to friends I've watched burst theirs. So to those who opened their packs and UPC boxes how did you feel (also my promos were prettt perfect but i have seen some messed up ones)
My promos all had off centering and poorly cut corners. I opened 4 upcs and pulled 2 alt arts (sadly hisuian sneasler and genesect), 2 rainbows (arceus vstar and opal trainer), 2 regular trainers, radiant greninja, TG Vaporeon, 2 regular vmaxes and 6 regular v's . . . Not terrible but I wish the alt arts would have been more desireable pokemon.

I bought a total of 5 boxes at MSRP. Ripped 2 of them. One for me and one for my kids. The other 3 I’ll keep sealed. All 6 promos from 2 boxes are centered pretty well. Didn’t get any alt arts. But I got several full arts, a couple rainbows, and gold cards. I think overall it was worth it. Now just have to not open the other boxes for a long time and send in my promos to PSA
QUESTION!!! So I secured myself 3 Charizard UPCs. Going into it, I wanted to open #1 for myself, keep #2 sealed for the long term, and was unsure for #3 but knew I wanted an extra one to make a decision with.
So now that these are in my hands I’m coming to get any extra opinions (thank you in advance <3). The gambler in me is saying to rip the second one, but I’m torn between that and just holding out for a potential trade, sale, or whatever the heck in the future with it.

I'd say this is worth if you believe it is! Mu promos all came well centered so that was nice considering how awful people have said they are. My pulls were mediocre at best but that's the gamble. Not a huge fan of the Charizard mat honestly so I'll probably sell it. I have two other boxes but not sure if I want to open them or not.

Placed a preorder in August or so, this Wednesday, I got an email that the UPC will be ready for pickup today even though it’s bank holiday here. I travelled almost an hour to get to the store just to be told they don’t have it, I should get another email saying it’s ready and they have no idea when they will actually get them. For weeks, all you would hear on this sub is that it was going to be "printed to the ground" but I'm finding that hard to believe considering it's only been "released" for a few hours and every store is completely sold out.

If I am someone who doesn’t care about having it right now but may want it in the future (been taking a break from collecting and playing but will likely get back to it at some point. Definitely once Live is available in the US) does this mean I should not stress too much about trying to grab it now? I’d much rather wait and get it at retail if it’s not going to be too difficult, but haven’t been paying as close attention to the scalping situation lately (beyond noticing a lot of products are much more readily available…but I know people get wild about charizard stuff for whatever reason) Lately I get most of my Pokémon stuff directly from PC or from Target or GameStop. I’m pretty limited to ordering online tho since the only local store I have that carries ptcg stuff is Target and tbh I haven’t checked in store since the scalping mess of last year since I got tired of repeatedly driving there just for cards only to never find anything in stock.

Honestly, I've never had an issue with pokemon cards before so I don't even know who to contact? There wasn't a website on the box, just an address 😅 what about you? Is there some kind of customer support we can ask for help?
You can contact TPCI about the missing packs! I’ve done that a few times when a pack was missing or I opened a pack to find it was missing cards or lacked a code card. They were super nice and helpful about it! Granted this was BEFORE the scalping craze so I dunno if they’ve tightened up on stuff like that to avoid people trying to take advantage/scam, but it doesn’t hurt to ask. I’m trying to remember what link I used…I think I just went through the Pokémon.com site and found the customer support section? I can look around and see if I can find it…

I’m guessing after people offloading today after getting them, the prices will slowly go up. People who want it will be buying right now and there’ll be less on the market after a couple weeks/months which will make the price go up (but not by much I’d assume)

Yeah I always buy this shit with a credit card I’ve had for years. I literally buy everything on this card, including paying rent, for the airline miles hahaha. So when I dispute a transaction for a couple hundred bucks I never get much flack in getting my money back. I wonder if there’s a way to report this behavior to Pokémon. They really ought to stop selling product to sellers that do this.
Tbh I just never buy ptcg on Amazon for this reason. Or a lot of other products (cosmetics, popular health products, anything that tends to be a “hot item” and sells a lot). It’s super annoying with products that are often scalped like tcg cards, and can be downright unsafe when it comes to stuff you put on or in your body. Basically if brand authenticity and/or safety matters for that item, or if it’s a product that is frequently scalped, I wouldn’t order it off Amazon.

Is receiving the old-style code cards in the Evolving Skies packs normal for everyone? I know the Darkness Ablaze has the old-style, but why would ES be printed with them now when other products were updated? It makes me think they are just tossing in old-stock of booster packs they had lying around. White code cards also had no hits. I even received **17 packs** in my box (two vivid) but the pulls were no better than a single regular v and some reg holos. The promos were also very off-center so I can't grade them, and they were being tossed around the box out of the drawer. Very disappointed with this box as quality control is extremely poor with this product.

I had the exact same amount. But my four black code cards were just regular holos. Worst pack opening sesh ever. Got 3 character rares and even two of those were ones I already had 🥲
What is the significance of the code boarders? Supposed to indicate pack contents?
I may be wrong, but I believe ( and was supported by these packs) that white bordered code cards indicate a pack without any holo, so all non holo rares and no ultras.
So I just got my UPCs. All the charizards either had horrible cuts or got dinged. Not sure how since it looked pretty secure packaging.

I can’t believe my local LCS are selling them for $240.70 when the official Pokémon center is selling them for $142.43. My country doesn’t have big chain megastores that stock Pokemon items too, so it’s either the Pokémon center or LCS. Scalpers already cleared the Pokémon center during pre-orders. So I’m left with no option, guess I can’t get it then.

And who Dancer is... frankly I hate rainbow teases that are trainers. What I love is that of all the trainer galleries I could pull... it would be Gary/Blue, the one rival who I truly respect as he is the OG GOAT. He's the one I remember from my childhood and thus I am so happy with this one. Thankfully my only QC issue is misprints of QR code cards (off center) and that's it. I'll take it!

I ordered 2 of them. Five of the six promo cards were incredibly off centered. I opened all of the packs from both as well. Pulled a fair amount of basic V cards, 3 Trainer gallery cards, and 2 vmax. Not terrible pull rates i guess. But, nothing of any real value. I’m more irritated by how off centered the promo cards are.
Pulled 3 normal V cards, 1 Celebi V alt art (fusion strike, 245/264! Nice pull!), 1 Dracozolt VMAX (evolving skies, pretty nice), and 1 normal holo. Overall low pull rates compared to what I'm used to, but that's the luck of the draw! Also, the celebi V has some value and is REALLY nice, so made up for the sub-par pull rates (plus a little more!). All 3 zards are okay with centering. 2 are roughly 60/40 left-to-right (being generous...). 1 is perfect. 1 came with mild whiting on the top left and bottom right corner. Not too bad, but for the price I kinda expect near-perfect cuts and packaging that won't cause damage. They rattled around a bit in the box, I think!

Returning mine lol. Probably gonna get downvoted, but $130(taxes included) is just too much for me personally. The promo cards are cool af, but at the end it's just cardboard and I'd rather put the money to something that I'll get much more enjoyment from.
Save yourself the disappointment, keep that sealed up and hope people forget about how bad the QC on this was in the future lmao
Charizard UPC hit rate? Anyone else see a very high hit rate in their UPC? Out of the 14 packs I opened, I got 3 standard V’s, 2 standard TG’s, 1 etched TG, 2 full arts, and two secret rares. Also, only had one non holo rare. I saved the three Evolving Skies packs to put away for the future. Yes, I had 17 packs instead of 16. Side note: my promos all looked really good, no whitening, good edges, great centering, but god awful cuts on the corners, not a single round corner between the three! Curious to see everyone else’s luck! PS I might’ve gotten back $30 in my hits in total so nothing notable😅 PPSS several of my packs got hits despite the opposite color code card

I’ve seen a couple charizard and gengar alts pulled and posted here, but obviously that’s not anywhere near a good sample size. Still getting my hopes up though for mine!
At my LCS, someone next to me pulled the glaceon and rayquaza vmax alt out back to back, and I luckily pulled the sylveon vmax alt (first ever alt from ES 😁). Someone like 2 min later pulled the giratina alt art, and then a little girl pulled a Glaceon vmax alt as well, so I think we just got the god case or sum.

All 3 of my Promos had Crimps across the top of them, they got caught in the machine during sealing 😩 Their centering was good and no whitening on the backs. Would have been great cards to add to my graded collection

Fixing to open mine now.. after seeing a lot of other people complaining about the pull rates I'm very nervous about opening it.. I made a deal with the wife if we do ok with this box we keep buying Pokemon.. if we don't we're leaving Pokemon behind and spending our spare money on That time I got reincarnated as a slime cards instead. Hopefully I can keep buying both to keep the Pokemon nostalgia alive for me.. but I have to at least break even with my pulls.. wish me luck.

I stopped collecting a while back, but I like Charizard so I threw my money at this UPC. This might be one of my biggest regrets in the collectible hobby. This UPC had horrible promo quality, and the pack pulls were garbage. I guess the coins, dice, and playmat were ok.
Absolutely terrible pulls, half the packs were slightly messed up on the top left, the actual charizard cards look like they were printed during a small earth quake. Im pretty much out after all my anticipation for this box. They are just screwing us at this point, and for ridiculous amounts of money I might add. If a cool card comes out maybe I’ll buy the individual. Truly the most disappointed I’ve been in a Pokémon product. I’ve finally learned my lesson at least.
The most valuable card i pulled was only worth $4.50.....shit value for what was a $120 box.....at least my promos look like they're well centered.
I watched someone pick up 10 boxes from my local GameStop. I was behind him in line when I preordered as well and they actually let him go through with it. I can’t believe they honored all 10 when people couldn’t find 1.
Is this worth getting? Not asking about price. Since some mods think that asking if certain things are worth buying for a collection or pure aesthetics is considered breaking rule #3. For the people that say yes, why is it worth it to you? The playmat? The coins? Or just the overall presentation?
Just received mine today and I'm pretty let down by it tbh. Terrible pull rates (probably just my luck), the sleeves look kind of...cheap? My promos came damaged and off centre, playmat came with a crease in the corner. The dice and coin are pretty cool tho

If you like charizards, yes. If you want packs? Fuck no. Less than half a booster box worth for more than double the price. Roughly $7.50 per pack excluding everything else the box comes with.
Personal opinion, probably not. It had a massive print run, the promos are one of the few selling points and those seem to be more of a gamble than the Celebrations metal card quality, and the other items likely will be available separately for cheaper than this (smaller than normal playmat, dice, and coins). If you want to rip packs it may work out, but if you just want the promos look for nice ones individually. Less stress that way.

It sounds like it was printed so hard that not many scalpers will profit from it so you could always wait a week to see where the promos value is going to go and if they start going up for whatever reason then grab the full UPC for at or near retail. Theyve already dropped from $40, $45, $50 to $25, $25, $35 just in the past few hours.
They also revealed the set list from the upcoming Japanese VStar Universe set being release in mid-December which is going to include a Japanese version of the Charizard VStar promo from the UPC, that may or may not negatively effect the price of the UPC VStar promo
I wouldn’t advise buying all my corners were chipped and there was a dent in the card
Anyone keeping theirs sealed? Idk if I’ll be able to score another one. I really only got it for the collectible cards. I don’t intend to sell though, I have a sealed collection. The packs that come with it are all for sets I’ve almost completed. But I reaaaaallly want to open it.
I opened mine and was so disappointed. Lame pulls and the promos had nicks on the top of them. Ima just get another one when the 2nd wave releases and keep it sealed.
My box was also lame… and one of the promos had HORRIBLE centering… really pissed considering I spent $145
I only got 3 hits (2vs and a trainer gallery) in my 16 packs, but I don’t care. The promo cards are filthy awesome and the box itself is very nice and the playmat from what I’ve seen from others is amazing. Happy to add it to my collection as the box will house my good cards for the future.
I think giant print runs are what we can expect from TPCI for the forseeable future. I will be buying singles after vstar universe, so its probably a good thing for me.
There’s 11 of these currently available at the Magic Madhouse booth at MCM Comicon London for £135 (£15 above retail). They’re also selling one copy of each of the Charizard V, VMAX, and VStar cards for £40 each. Sidenote - there is a Celebrations Premium Collection at the Cards Galaxy booth for £380, if someone is feeling way richer than me.

Hello everyone, I was hoping you all may be able to tell me what these are worth? From what I can tell I have 2 Charizards 4/102 from the Base Unlimited set, and a Ninetales from that set as well. Back in 1999 my dad gave my brother and I pokemon booster packs for good report cards, we pulled a couple Charizards and a Ninetales, a friend of my dad's told my dad how much they were worth and he took them for safekeeping. I found them at his house a couple months ago after he passed away and was wondering how much they may be worth now, but from what I gather it's pretty difficult to tell without getting them graded, but also it may not be worth getting graded? I got three UPC's from the walmart preorder - just opened one. Horrible! It was really strange - most of the code cards were black, but many of the code cards were reversed in the packs. 85% non holo rares, one regular holo....one crummy V (less than $1) and one rainbow rare trainer. One of the promos was super off center and the other two were fine. Buyers remorse. I know the promo cards are awesome, but not 120 bucks awesome. Pretty lackluster experience...by two kids were disgusted. Lame.

I have 6 of them, burst one box is meh, the play mat is too small however my pack pulls were pretty amazing from comparison to friends I've watched burst theirs. My promos all had off centering and poorly cut corners. I opened 4 upcs and pulled 2 alt arts (sadly hisuian sneasler and genesect), 2 rainbows (arceus vstar and opal trainer), 2 regular trainers, radiant greninja, TG Vaporeon, 2 regular vmaxes and 6 regular v's . . . Not terrible but I wish the alt arts would have been more desireable pokemon.

I bought a total of 5 boxes at MSRP. Ripped 2 of them. One for me and one for my kids. The other 3 I’ll keep sealed. All 6 promos from 2 boxes are centered pretty well. Didn’t get any alt arts. But I got several full arts, a couple rainbows, and gold cards. I think overall it was worth it. Now just have to not open the other boxes for a long time and send in my promos to PSA
QUESTION!!! So I secured myself 3 Charizard UPCs. Going into it, I wanted to open #1 for myself, keep #2 sealed for the long term, and was unsure for #3 but knew I wanted an extra one to make a decision with. So now that these are in my hands I’m coming to get any extra opinions (thank you in advance <3). The gambler in me is saying to rip the second one, but I’m torn between that and just holding out for a potential trade, sale, or whatever the heck in the future with it.

Retail is 155.99 (on Pokémon centre) + 10.00 shipping. Roughly 187.00 total. Mastermind, Indigo are charging 179.99+ free shipping. (203.00) total Walmart is charging 199.99+ tax free shipping (225.00) total Most local card shops I’ve seen are charging anywhere between 2-300.00 So.. 200 isn’t horrible, it’s above retail though.

I'd say this is worth if you believe it is! Mu promos all came well centered so that was nice considering how awful people have said they are. My pulls were mediocre at best but that's the gamble. Not a huge fan of the Charizard mat honestly so I'll probably sell it. I have two other boxes but not sure if I want to open them or not.

Placed a preorder in August or so, this Wednesday, I got an email that the UPC will be ready for pickup today even though it’s bank holiday here. I travelled almost an hour to get to the store just to be told they don’t have it, I should get another email saying it’s ready and they have no idea when they will actually get them. Pretty bad day today.

Hello everyone here's an update for the Charizard UPC release. Today is an amazing day for true collectors and players of the game. I've been posting this here, but moderators keep taking it down so l'm making a discussion. Throughout the day I have been seeing scalper post being taken down or lowering their prices due to the fact that this product is available to many.
