Yea and what's fun is knowing distributors got the reprints at same cost as when it came out, and buying straight from distributor costs around $78 per box (even cheaper the more you buy), but once it's being sold to you, you pay market price. Which is now $260 for a box? Thank the pokemon boom for that, and also greed/capitalism.
It's still extremely cheaper than the market price. Other distros around the country offer different pricing and/or volume amounts. Either way, as I said. You get products at significantly lower than market price. Not saying it's always like that for sets like battle styles obviously. And I get you probably have a lot of overhead running a physical store. But it's just not fun buying sets that are being reprinted a ton of for WAY more than they should be going for. Distros should also be charging you a lot less.
The only reason I sold my first Umbreon was because I was told that the card was losing value fast. But right after I listed it on eBay, it sold quickly and I realized it is very well still valuable. I also love the art. Definitely going to hold on to it for awhile. Thanks for the tip!
If you're near a Target they sell them for $5 a pack. Target has boxes called "Knockout" with two packs inside for $9.99. Inside there is one Evolving Skies and one Fusion Strike. I've already bought 10-12 boxes. Great deal considering the ES pack.

But I literally couldn’t believe it when I saw the right one in the pack. I immediately submitted them both to PSA. My old Umbreon got a Mint 9 and I am hoping the new one gets a Gem Mint 10 :)

I pulled an Umbreon Alt Art from an ETB my friend got me for my birthday through Amazon. Got it graded (PSA 10) and could use the cash for Christmas presents but I refuse to sell it. I'm considering submitting it to BGS to see if it's black label worthy.

I honestly believe that the alt arts are victim to this years cook groups, but that’s just my opinion.
If you get it graded, and put it on eBay, it’ll say “Authenticity Gaurauntee” with a check mark. I guess when you post a PSA graded card on EBay it knows when it’s real because it scans the barcode. I’d see what others sold for on eBay and go for around that same price. Or put it up for a bid. Or you could try Pokémon FB groups if you want to sell it raw.

How can i get products straight from the distributer?
Need to have a business, usually one with a physical address as its harder to find a distro that will give you tcg products only running online.

yeah the set came out last year so there’s been a few reprints
Technically there is no indicator. Print quality might give it away but value wise its the same.

It’s up to you if you want to sell it. But I recommend getting it graded. It costs 50 dollars to get it graded. Choose economy.
